Change the notification panel icons - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I am on i1317m, stock rom, rooted.
I wonder if there is way to change the notification icons to other icon sets? A little boring for the stock ones.
Thanks

Use winrar/7zip or whatever and open the 'systemui.apk', 'framework.apk', and or 'secsettings.apk' from your rom zip file and change the icons in the res folders. Depending on your rom and lcd density settings they can be in any of the res/drawble folders.

Not that this is a direct answer to your question but, I think this thread might have the information you are looking for.
I've used zipthemer before and it was a breeze but, it looks like you have the options of tuning your own keys with some of these methods. I used zipthemer to install custom softkeys before but, now I just use the utility included in the new Eclipse JB build 8 to completely customize my navbar. The Eclipse rom is here.

Thank you, but my problem is to change the icons of custom apps in navigation bar.
The icons of standard softkeys are in SystemUI/res/drawable-xhdpi, but I don't see the icons of any application that I insert in navigation bar!

You would change the icon of the app itself from within its apk.
Sent from my AOSP Android 4.1.1 Galaxy Nexus
Yes, this is a possibility but my question is clare: I would like to know what is technically the file to edit.

quick settings menu

I really like having the quick settings for wifi, BT, etc in the notification bar like this phone has. My question is that if I install Nova launcher or something over the stock UI, will I lose that? Not rooted

Installing a custom launcher such as Nova won't change anything in the notification pane.

Isn't the quick menu settings bar in the notification pane part of the LG UI 3.0 though? I thought installing another launcher would overwrite everything from that UI

No, installing a custom launcher will only modify the look of the launcher, not the whole UX. I think you would have to install a custom ROM to get rid of the notification quick settings.
Anyways, I run Holo Launcher and can confirm that the Quick Settings bar is still there.
Perfect thx all

Opaque notification drawer?

With some ROMs, the notification drawer is transparent or semi-transparent, but I find it much easier to read when it's solid black. I've found tons of apps & posts about how to make it transparent, but not non-transparent. Any thoughts?

Some ROM's let you set any image as the background of the notification and quick settings menus. If so, just pick a color you like, make a JPG of that color, and use it. however most ROM's that let you do that also give you the option of selecting a solid color.

Thanks. Any thoughts if the ROM doesn't have that feature?
Download xblast module or wanam lers you chanfe everything from clock color/size/position and all colors in system ui
??
I'm assuming you don't know about the xposed app? Download xposed off of xda. There is a whole forum and then download the module gravitybox and you can change the color of it. And you don't have to change your rom. It's really simple.

[Q] Changing Stock 5.0+ Status bar font

Has anyone figured out a way to change the system status bar font style (clock, battery, notification ticker) for stock 5.0+ ROMs?
Tried ifont, font installer, etc. which were able to change fonts used throughout the system, but all of which leave the status bar font unchanged

Fontster did not change font of statusbar, you must change it manually.
Have a look at this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony-themes-apps/changing-sony-stock-5-0-status-bar-font-t3113196/post60853846#post60853846
I might be wrong but this is how my status bar, notification drawer and quick settings with my font of choice using Fonster. This might be due to my modified systemui. Not sure. [emoji6]

I tried Fontster too, didn't work for me. The only thing that worked was to change Roboto-Medium manually to my desired font

Some launchers e.g. Smart Launcher have a option to normalize icons. OP launcher is missing this option as far as I know.
How about some unified Icon Pack e.g. Whicons?
Icon Pack alone should fix the size problem.
