Might be a big task to backport everything to the older HW.
but developer should think about it.if port is not possible then atleast if it is possible to make a rom which is identical to x2 rom.

I think that X2 ROMs posted in ROM section do already have X2 camera software. So yes, it is possible but some options sill be disabled.

I　install v3, everything goes smoothly, after it's complete, I reboot my htc one x+, and take photos, but the photos doesn't improve at all.
The side of the photo taken from outdoor with sunshine is only about 2.3M.
it looks like the mod doesn't kick in.
For testing purpose, I also install V2, because v2 has a feature - can make the volume up button as shuttle, so I can test if the mod works or not.
but after installation, when open the camera, the volume up button doesn't work as shuttle.
Am I doing anything wrong.
the installation is straightforward, unless I did something wrong at the beginning.
Does it say its for the hox+ somewhere ! This is for the one x international !

If its not working and it says nowhere that its for the hox + it probably is not supported

Yeah but different system-frameworks-partition lay-out........ Thats why it has its own section. If they where the same the 2 forums would be 1

Install sense 7 apps but don't install clock and weather .They don't work for some reason

no i gave up trying to update and root currently. ill try again once im stable
It would be great if we could get the latest HTC camera to work. Sense 7 camera does but 8 doesn't. So far anyway. Been using sense 7 camera since I got the device

I have the sense 8 camera I will give it to you after some time. Plus it works great
Here is the stock camera from HTC 10. Uninstall any previous version of HTC camera before installing. And if you were wondering , HTC 10 runs Sense 8 so here is the sense 8 camera.

Are you trying to use it on a HTC device because this won't work on a HTC device because this is specially made for only 4.4 devices and higher but not HTC devices.

I have the camera apk it just doesn't work when installed. It will install alongside the other and open and attempt to your pics but will not actually succeed.
