[Q] My HTC ONE X looks DEAD ! - HTC One X

Hello everyone, I think I've had a similar problem before, but NOT as lethal as this one
My HTC One X began turning itself off and on randomly, then I turned it off by pressing the power button with the Vol. down and choose POWER DOWN.
I've tried plugging it into the computer, and it makes the noise that indicates that the PC recognizes the device, but the red charging light will not come on.
NOTES:
1- I've tried many solutions like Pressing the power and the volume buttons for 15 seconds and for 2 minutes and NOTHING happened (While it is CONNECTED to my PC)
2- I recently Re-Locked the bootloader after it was UNLOCKED, and it was working fine until this striked :cyclops:
Please Help me guys :good:

[Q] HTC One X bricked?

Hi! Bought the HTC One X today. After turning on he offered a system update. Phone was charged up to 50%, then an update was launched. Phone stayed pluged in to charger. Green arrows appeared for 40-50 min then screen gone black and thats it. No volume up/down + power buttons, no power button for 10 sec can't help.
But! Phone is visible like a device by computer, when pluged over usb. And led is yellow when pluged to charger.
Need help.

[Q] Need help plz phone died

Hi there
I updated my phone to jellybean yesterday i am with tmobile uk , the phone worked fine after this everything seemed to install ok.
until a hour ago, i got a phone call answered it, then hung up, i put my phone in my pocket, next time i took it out the phone was locked on the boot page the white screen with htc logo on, i tried to power it off and the the 3 buttons on the bottom of phone started to flash white for 10 seconds then phone swithed off. the phone wont turn back on, it wont charge, tried usb to computer no lights nothing. the phone was fully charged when it switched off. my phones a standard one never touched bootloader etc
i spoke to htc they think its software problem, they say when i downloaded jellybean i used 3g not wifi (my fault) this could have caused the problem as there could of been a drop in signal they tell me.
the problem i have they want 210 pound to fix and they say its not under warranty as i have had the screen replaced, but not by htc voiding the warranty.
Can anyone here give me some advice or help to fix my phone please.
thanks

Can you enter the bootloader by holding the power button and the volume - button together, keep them pressed until it enters the bootloader.

Orange light blinking and phone won't turn on?
Hi guys give this a try next time you're phone has a orange blinking light. Especially for those phones that have a non removable Battery in there phones like htc 820 or an iPhone. Ok so unplug your phone press the power button 10 times at 1 second intervals to discharge it, then hold the power button for 16-30 seconds until it turns on. Then plug it up to the charger to properly charge even if it says it's charged. Hope that helps you guys out.

WOW... my phone is alive!! All i did now was:
I tried charger from my galaxy core (same amperage like htc 820 = 1A) but i used original cable from my htc charger. The led was still blinking so i decided to "knock" the back panel (around the place where connector from batterry is), then i pressed vol and vol- and power button for around 20-30s, then i pressed vol- and power button for around 30s then i released everything, then i pressed power button for 10sec and my phone turned on!!! im so happy! my phone is still on warranty but i live abroad now so i need to send it to my country to start warranty procedure but no im free of this!
Thank You guys for pushing me to try once more the magical tricks with cables, chargers and buttons
Btw.
My batterry is now 100% = that means it was charging all the time?
i don't know what was that but i am happy that it work now.
Hii...I'm facing exactly same problem...Did you fix it?
My phone goes to bootloop everytime I start it. HBOOT and Fastboot are working fine although!

Z5 Premium Dual - Does Not Turn On...

I did a software update recently on my Z5 Premium Dual E6833, and when I look at it later it was off! I tried to turn it on, but it was unresponsive. No signs of life at all. Its completely dead. OFF button in SIM slot does nothing, even if I hold it for more than two minutes. No charging LED light when connected to wall charger. When I plug it to my PC, it was being detected as "Unknown Device". Tried loading some ADB driver but it was not accepting it. Tried few different chargers and cables as well. Also Volume Up + Power does nothing at all, same for Volume Down + Power...
Looks like it runs out of charge when it did a software update, it was still have more than 50% when I started the software update. ..
Can anyone guide me on what to do next? I am in the middle of the desert at the moment for the next three weeks, and no access to any local service center. Thank you in advance for any advice that you might have... :crying:
i am worried since you did the volume up + power button trick!
charge your device over night , hold the volumeup+ power button for atleast 15 seconds , the device must jerk thrice! remove fingers on second jerk . the device will shutdown . at this point connect device in flashmode and flash the kernel!
Thank you for your reply, appreciate it! I have tried that trick of holding the Volume Up + Power even up to 30 seconds, but for some unknown reason, it does not vibrate at all. I have tried it on numerous occasion but the vibration was not coming at all...

Pixel XL not booting, possible to repair?

Hi,
Here's the backstory, I was using the phone normally and suddenly the volume slider went down like the button was pressed and the touch screen stopped responding. I held the power button to shut down the phone and it couldn't boot again. Before it happened the phone had been working without issue.
What happens:
- When the battery is low and I unplug it or hold the power button for a few seconds, the battery icon appears
- When the battery is charged or it is plugged, I hold the power button and it will only vibrate after 30 seconds
So the screen, battery and buttons work. I tried plugging the phone to my PC but it's not detected, the OS doesn't begin to boot. I tried all possible combinations of power and volume buttons.
Would this be a mobo short, and would it be repairable? I've bought the phone second hand so I have no warranty AFAIK. I've moved to the P2XL but would love to get the PXL working and get my GF away from Apple, she's ready, lol.
Any experience with this issue?
