Hi.
I have a Galaxy S4 m919 with Android 4.4.2 and I need to put Android 4.2.2, I'd like that someone explain me which is the procedure that need I to do.
I would appreciate much your help.
You cant downgrade the stock firmware. why do you want 4.2.2?

I had a problem when I unlocked the SIM of the phone, now the imei is damaged and to fix it I have to have Android 4.2.2.
Here is a link with a DL link for the firmware. Just Google "how to flash stock firmware with Odin". Trying to downgrade may brick your phone so good luck

I would like to downgrade to 4.4.2 because the 4.4.4 version is hard to root (i've rooted with Odin) but it lost the effect in lock screen (light that follow the finger without touch the screen).

Use cf-autoroot for root, and for the light you need to have air gesture or air view enabled

These settings are enabled, I compared all settings with another S4 and they are the same but it doesn't work at 4.4.4. Any suggestions?

Then I don't know I'll try it when I update in the next few days, but there is no way to downgrade the firmware. You can however flash a 4.4.2 ROM instead

Consider me a complete noob on this matter.
Now I'm trying to get lte on my m919v and I've been ready that flashing the modem to the m919 (t-mobile) would be enough to solve my problem. But I have a couple où questions I can't find the answers to
1- do i need to be rooted to flash a modem
2-will I get a Knox message if I do
3-If it's only a simple modem problem, where can I find the m919 modem

1. Yes, you must be rooted.
2. If your device has Knox bootloader, yes it will trip the counter.
3. Still going to root?

so ive been ready for days now and i'm simply trying to get lte o my phone. It seems that there's some way i can get it by simply installing a rom but all i want to change is the baseband or aka radio but is it possible to simply install the t-mobile B4 since my m919v is just a variant and the hardware is the same

Well i've tryed to find more info on the subject and nothing seems to be informative on this subject.
Guess us canadians don't buy enought galaxies everyone is and is sold to iphone they think jailbreaking is bad so imagine having to root a phone and play with this you're not suppose to touch because the little book that came with it said so

I read something somewhere about this. Someone flashed a AOSP ROM and got LTE speeds. It didn't mention TW though. Apparently they tried flashing the MDL bootloader but it didn't work. Have you tried just changing your APN to LTE?

You don't need the firmware. Just flash a KK rom and the NB4 modem. You are rooted already.
If you flash the stock KK firmware it will trip the Knox counter

I think you will need to root it and such install a custom recovery so that you can flash that older version. Check this thread for rooting info: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1956180
Make sure you actually read the instructions. Not reading everything fully means bricking your device. As for getting your MSL... Here's an app that might work, if it doesn't watch the YouTube video and see if that helps.
App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.patternedsoftware.getmymsl&hl=en

You will never be able to go to stock 4.2 not matter what you do. We have 4.1.2, 4.3, and 4.4.2 stock roms only. Like stated above root, flash recovery then the rom you want.

I have the 605V on the 4.4.2 I do not want LP but I want to know can someone link me to the radio from the new LP 5.0?
Also can I OBIN and install that radio without any custom recovery which I cannot get for 605V?
As far as I know there are no LP radios for this tablet yet.

Lol. I doubt the update is for LP. Even if it was an update for LP it would also update the radios to LP radios. That update is probably just a bug fix or something. If you want to know for sure look at Sammobile.com firmware section and see if the update is to 4.4.4 or LP. Again lol☺

I've done it. I reverted from IronRom lollipop to Ironrom KitKat with no issues. No need for odin as the lollipop bootloader can run KitKat fine.
Just find a custom roms for KitKat and flash it through twrp
