battery life on latest firmware Z1C - Xperia Z1 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, just reverted back to JB because of battery issues with firmware 757 on Kitkat and now I am experiencing great battery life again. I understand Sony released firmware 761, how is your battery life for this? How's your screen time and other stats? thanks.

I had 761 for about 4 days and battery was the same for me as 757. So quite poor compare to jb. Now i have E.1 ver since tommorow and my diagram is:

For now quite good. I restore all apps and dont use stamina. I check for 2 days with stamina. But i only disable bloat from carrier but from google i leave them alone. And so far standby is impresive but as you can see i use my phone from timw to time few calls couple of sms and tapatalk and some browsing but short. For me better than 757

High WAF Wireless Inductive Charging Mod Guide
Ok this is not my mod just seen this and sorry if its been posted ...video below!
* I am not responsible if any harm comes to your device its your responsibility if you wish to try this*
YouTube video Here :victory:
Some info .....
The complete progress of making an inductive charging mod with no visible wires, no visible soldering points, free usb port and easily removable back cover (or simply high WAF)
The whole process is fairly simple and straightforward.
This mod will void your warranty, though I don’t think a Samsung repair man will be able to find traces of this mod on first sight if removed cleanly.
The theory behind the wireless charging isn’t as complicating as it sounds using charging by induction but applying the theory may not be as easy as it looks. This is because not much value is added when charging your device wirelessly – your phone still needs to be kept somewhat stationery.
There are rumors that Apple is currently working on a wireless charging technology itself – one that not only dreams but also does allow the user to charge their mobile device without being limited by a wall socket. Until this happens, we can still dream of having the convenience of never having to plug in your mobile device to charge – unlimited battery life.

yes it's clean it's port from x900 i think no modifications
Work perfect. Camera is working ok, color correction is also working.
Using it all day and it's seems fine.
So far it seems good! Only have been running for a few hours. LTE works (Sim 2).
Had a problem in 11S V48. Suddenly the system installed "DU Battery Saver" and cleanmaster.
Searched the device with "Stubborn Trojan Killer" and found infected files (ghost Push Trojan & infected search services).
Now with the new rom search services is no longer infected. Still found Ghost Push Trojan but the app managed to clean it.
Will report back after more time spend with the rom.
I and at least 2 others on Androidiana forums have had bad experiences with 14s. Battery life extremely poor, heat issues.Every reboot optimizes 2 files which causes a very long reboot. Have reverted back to 12s.
Would also like to point out that Stubborn Trojan Killer found Ghost Push Trojan on all 3 of my phones and the other both have never had any malware issues..

Any review?

Been using this for a couple of days now. Mostly without issues.
Had the 12S earlier and tried the CM12.1 to get rid of the trojan, but went back to this due to very bad battery performance on the CM build.
This has been working quite nicely for the last couple of days. No big issues to report other than that you need to remove the trojan with a trojan killer before starting to use it.

14s runs well? What the insues ??

I've had WiFi not finding any networks once, solved by reboot as simply toggling WiFi did not fix it, and some issues with positioning not being very precise. (Not sure if this is the ROM or the hardware.) When under heavy load, the phone will heat up and eat through the battery in ~3 hours with max screen brightness, but this is normal with Android it seems.
But as this isn't my daily driver, I could have missed things. I have used it for probably 5-6 hours the last couple of days, mostly for web, content consumption and to assist my kid when she's out "looking for monsters" (Pokemon Go.)

this problem in CM OR EUI ?
I don't meet this problem in My letv 1 pro in CUOCO92 5.5.014S.zip until now
This is in EUI 14S.

Been using 14S for 2 weeks. No issues accept removed trojan.
Acceptable battery life, great perfomance, no lags and hangs.
Leaving it for night with WiFi enabled eats about 6-9% of battery.

Measure mAh after replace battery.

Hi everybody. I replace my battery for new. But after some hours every app which measure mAh show nothing or only 283 mAh. Where is the error? Phone is functional.
Odesláno z mého ASUS_Z00A pomocí Tapatalk
It's your charger, probably the USB cable.
Not in charge. I mean in normal use. Before I replace old battery my phone shows how much mAh app or phone using. After replace battery phone show only 283 mAh. I don't know what cause this error.
Odesláno z mého ASUS_Z00A pomocí Tapatalk
If it's not charging and it consumes too much current per hour it means it's draining fast.. it is still unclear to me what you are trying to say, can I have a screen shot of your findings?

Current and average consumption is wrong, but phone don't consume the same energy every time.

*Is your app accurate? Maybe you can try a different app
*Try to charge it while that app is open and observe if the readings will change.
*Try to set the brightness to full while playing a loud music simultaneously and observe the readings.
* If you have a clamp meter you can measure the actual current consumption of your phone.
*Where did you bought your battery?
I try Accubattery app. After replace old battery, app work for a while. But after some hours won't show consumption and won't calibrate. When I try gsam battery app, show only 283 mAh consumption. Every app show only, this value. I don't know why. When I charging phone apps show good value mAh.
I bought original battery from asus on Mironet.cz C11P1424

Preferably and to be on the safe side and to get maximum performance from any new battery , it is better to return to stock for atleast 5-10 full battery cycles
Its a must to have decent battery longevity :good: before considering custom roms again.
Oh, thanks

Hi everybody again. I thinking about my problem every day. I have a progress. You can see current ampere value, but I see only this value. Maybe when I remove old battery for new I do something with battery sensor which calculate this value, because when I had old battery, I don't have this problem. Please somebody try this app and report to me if you have this problem too. Many thanks. http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/58c2ff4b43bd4/Screenshot_20170310-201423.png?

There's a built in screen protector, but I can't tell if it's on by the pics.
Idk I'd take some Goo Gone/Rubbing Alcohol/WD40 to the screen and see if it'll take it off.
Else you're going to have to live with it.

Standby drain

When you sleep, does your phone sleep, or does it stay up all night and crunch 1s and 0s? Rate this thread to express how you deem the speed at which the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE's battery drains under standby conditions. A higher rating indicates that when the phone is not in use, the battery drains minimally.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Bluetooth always on(connect with my mi band 3)

The battery drain is not that much for me.. 5-10%
It's ok, about 4-5% during the night (airplane mode). I still have to test it more.
With my previous phone (lenovo p2, 5100mah) i had a drop of only 1-2%
For me, Best today ROM for stand by drain is Revolution OS.
I've tested all MIUI variant and this one seems to give lower drain at night.
less than 2% in 8Hours. (green line stay nearly horizontal!)
Do your test!
I'm on Chinese MIUI 10. I debloated it & installed Lean launcher. Now the battery drain at night is 3% max, even without Airplane mode & battery saver. It's amazing how much better experience you can get just by getting rid of useless MIUI stuff.
