There's a built in screen protector, but I can't tell if it's on by the pics.
Idk I'd take some Goo Gone/Rubbing Alcohol/WD40 to the screen and see if it'll take it off.
Else you're going to have to live with it.

Well contact Oneplus. Pretty sure they mark it as 'physical damage'.

this weird spot appeared on my screen yesterday, and I have no idea why... How do I get rid of it?
Looks like the start of somthing nasty like a newton ring.... do you have an amoled or lcd screen?
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
it seems that you have pressed the digitizer against something or left it sowhere hot. but i have seen this again and it went away on its own. if it does not you must send it to htc for repair.

It's SLCD. Also, I didn't pressure it, and it was in the cold when this happened, about -12 C
digitizer+touch sensitive part, not the lcd. anyhow. try to leave it in room temp and see what will happen.

Well, I'm still going to take it to HTC Care. I already unrooted, so there's nothing to lose. I hope I'll get a replacement though...
Sorry for the bump, just wanted to post that I got the phone back 2 days ago.. 58 days in service.

OMG My phone was on repair with cracked inside AMOLED screen(not the digitizer) for a week only. Did you actually got new phone or the same? and did you get it fixed? did you pay for it or was it in warranty?
Hello. I recently purchased a Nexus 7 2013 model. For the first couple of days, it worked flawlessly. However, while it was charging today while on, I attempted to use it and experienced white vertical lines on the screen. After powering down and restarting, the lines disappeared. However, the vertical lines reappeared after a couple of minutes.
I have attached pictures for reference.
Is this normal? Or is this a hardware defect? Your thoughts are most appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I dont see anything normal in that ;(
Maybe its not hardware problem - some more advanced user should look into this problem...

That's most likely a hardware defect, assuming it has warranty you should be able to replace it.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will return it to the seller.
Actually, the lines are colored as well. Photos attached to OP. If anyone believes it is a software issue, please let me know. I already tried a factory reset.
Thanks!

That looks like hardware problem. Could be as simple as loose cable.
Thanks for the reply. Decided to just return it. I don't know why, but I have a lot of pairs with the Asus items I have purchased. ?

Hey, just reverted back to JB because of battery issues with firmware 757 on Kitkat and now I am experiencing great battery life again. I understand Sony released firmware 761, how is your battery life for this? How's your screen time and other stats? thanks.
I had 761 for about 4 days and battery was the same for me as 757. So quite poor compare to jb. Now i have E.1 ver since tommorow and my diagram is:

For now quite good. I restore all apps and dont use stamina. I check for 2 days with stamina. But i only disable bloat from carrier but from google i leave them alone. And so far standby is impresive but as you can see i use my phone from timw to time few calls couple of sms and tapatalk and some browsing but short. For me better than 757

Just reverted do JB and performed my first stats
Settings: 4 hours music by headphones, 1 hour bluetooth music, screen minimum brightness most of the time. it was only set to full brightness when we were in the beach maybe that was for 30min. Camera for 10 mins, wifi most of the time then 3g for 20min-30min.
I noticed that my watch face isn't exactly in the center of the screen when I'm not using it. Why is it like this?

It can be enabled/disabled or is it automatic?
It's a native feature of Android Wear provided by Google himself:
Burn protection techniques
When designing for OLED screens, you should consider power efficiency and the screen burn-in effect. When these screens are in ambient mode, the system shifts the contents of the screen periodically by a few pixels to avoid pixel burn-in. Do not use large blocks of pixels in your ambient mode designs and keep 95% of the pixels black. Replace solid shapes in your regular ambient mode designs with outlined shapes in burn-protected ambient mode. Also replace filled images with pixel patterns. For analog watch face designs, hollow out the center where the hands meet to avoid pixel burn-in in this mode.

Thanks!
I thought "few" pixels doesn't mean the whole watchface moves away like OP showed...
Sometimes, it's not only the feature because of protect burning in
I've returned 2 one, before I get an exemplar, where the main clock-face dosn't go out of centre, also the Huawei-Logo on start.
The worse one also turned the faces clockwise sometimes
For example here, You'll see, what i'm talking about (in german language)

But until now, I don't find any report, where someone describes, what the reason is for that, and how to fix it by flash, or the like .
Because I guess, its an software issue, or an early one
Hi,
I saw today on a sunny day that the fingerprint scaner is visible in sun. It's only visible on a white background. Have you guys same effect? Maybe it's original film protector effect?
Cheers

Already been a thread on this. I can shine the light from my other phone and see it on a black /screen off state.
I cant find that thread? Kinda curious what the reactions are.
If it was visible all the time then there would be a problem, but having to meet certain conditions to see it, conditions I'm not likely to have happen, who cares?
No phone will be 100% perfect no matter what you pay. I'm happy with what I got. Could it be better, yes (I'm looking at the loss of the headphone jack), but I can live with it... If it was a major problem I'd go with something else, that's the beauty of choice...

It's known, nothing to panic. Look in the Samsung S10+ forum it's a whole thread on it. Nothing to worry about though ?

What kind of reactions are you looking for? It's no big deal, it's the technology under the screen.
I saw mine the other day. My screen is off and the bright direct sunlight just happen to hit it at the right angle and I could see the sensor. I thought it was kind of cool, actually. Haven't seen it since.
Lcd on means light passes though it. So the sensor is seen.
Its all normal.

The only problem is there is no LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), it's OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) and I can barely see it if I shine strong flashlight on blank screen, at specific angle and know what and where to look. It's seems to be under semi transparent screen, as it should. Never notice it until now.
Hmmm... mild reactions But with my phone it's more persistent.
I had my phone 20 mins in direct sunlight and could still see the sensor when i was inside for more than an hour... Not good.
Da heck is the point of this thread? What the OP has seen is normal for the design of the phone. Other people still commenting saying its “not good” are just trolling.
The fanboy is strong in this one.
If i see the sensor inside in normal conditions, its definitely not good. I was curious if more people have this. Apparently not that much and this persistent.
Wow, internet is a cool place huh.
The bigger problem is why the fingerprint scanner is on the screen instead of the back or use the power button. It makes no-look fingerprint unlocking very unreliable. Note 9 had a perfect scanner and placement.
