The battery drain is not that much for me.. 5-10%
It's ok, about 4-5% during the night (airplane mode). I still have to test it more.
With my previous phone (lenovo p2, 5100mah) i had a drop of only 1-2%
For me, Best today ROM for stand by drain is Revolution OS.
I've tested all MIUI variant and this one seems to give lower drain at night.
less than 2% in 8Hours. (green line stay nearly horizontal!)

I'm on Chinese MIUI 10. I debloated it & installed Lean launcher. Now the battery drain at night is 3% max, even without Airplane mode & battery saver. It's amazing how much better experience you can get just by getting rid of useless MIUI stuff.

The Xperia S has a smaller capacity battery (1750mAh vs 1910mAh) but the official quoted times are in favor of the Xperia S. Hope this helps, cheers

I'm placing my Acro S in the charging dock every evening, before going to bed (23:00). Usually it still has about 40-50% battery left. I'm unplug it in the morning, at 7:00 AM.
As per usage pattern: I have 3 emails with push (work exchange email, gmail and hotmail). I'm browsing the net daily during my 30 minutes commute to work and from work (one hour in total). I'm listening music over BT - AD2P headset all this time.
Time to time I'm playing some games on it for 30 minutes or so ...
Some G+ (~20-30 min)
Some Talk (on average 30 min a day)
Phone calls - about 15-30 min a day.
Since I'm rocking my Nexus 7 for internet related stuff and gaming, I'm putting my phone in the charging cradle with ~70-75% juice in it.
Update, here is my battery history over few days (the vertical lines are at 12 hours apart)

My own xperia s on XTXperiance rom with advanced stock kernel does about 40 hours per charge, 4 hours of screen time. This is with 3G and data constantly on, hourly checks of twitter, 3 hours of music and some light 3D gaming (30 min) . If I use it very heavily eg. 2 hours straight of Dead Trigger with half volume, then an hour of Internet, it lasts a max of 5 hours. On calls it lasts rather long, 2 hours and I lose about 20-30 percent.

After installing snapdragon battery Guru i mentioned verry low speaker audio during phone Calls. uninstalling fixed the behavior.

That was with about 3 hours of gps on and using Google maps and a route planner for my deliveries today. I don't know if that's good as I've yet to use it like this before.
I have all off screen and on screen gestures turned off except the 3 fingers for screen shot. Auto brightness and wifi was off today as well.
The other day I let my phone idle for 9ish hours while I slept and I lost 4%, that was also putting the cell data to edge though.
I also use the greenify app, not the built in greenify. Haven't messed with the built in greenify does it work the same way?

This has got to be a bug...
Unplugged, drove to work and noticed no drain on the monitor.
The phone was trickle charged by my router though overnight, not through the OEM charger
I disabled the gestures, that helped a lot.

I'm on A10 M3.0 stable on my Tencent version, but the battery drain is so much...; playing Pubg 90hz is draining like 15% each match of 25min. I did a factory reset. Nothing changes.
So I'm planning to return to A9 for now even losing gestures and some other things...
Which are you using? Your experiences? Your recommendations?
What are the advantages of each one?
I would like to discuss that because, as me, I'm sure we have more mates doubting about it at this time when A10 is not 100% perfect yet.
All you have to do is remove Facebook app and stop it's service from setting application the battery will be good
I would stay with Android 9. When I updated to Android 10 I had many issues. Over heating, poor battery life, games kept crashing. Won't lie, Android 10 did speed the phone up which was nice, the new icons looked nice too. But overall android 9 is better on my opinion

Did it. But anyway... I was spoken with people with A9 and my main prob is PUBG at 90hz, it's draining a lot of battery.. but they have the same prob, so...
In general, in Beta 11 it's fine. This is my usage. Stock kernel (thinking to put again Kirisakura... but let's see). I wanna say PUBG usage is at 90hz, not 60hz.
I don't use 90 hz with playing always use 60hz and no problems at all in general if you use 90 or 120hz you will lose more battery even if you don't play a game if you think about battery time you have to stay on 60hz

But in general view, if you have your system in 120hz-90-60hz it will change, but 120->60 won't be +100% of time because they are half fps.
However, in [email protected] is almost double than @60fps...
weird. i have no issues with android 10. it can be modded even more than android 9, and battery life is okay. also no overheating for me.

Also the battery life of this phone is not good, with disabling everything I still cannot get thru a day.

Nope, my SOT is around 5 - 6 hours, but my standby battery is not good enough, I cant get thru 12 hours oh furthermore the number for full charge only last for 10 hours, is my device faulty?

That is where the SoC is, the 888 is notorious for being a hot chip.
I was having the same issue with over standby battery life. I would get 12 hours at most on a full charge. After disabling wifi and BT scanning under location/improved accuracy and then also using bixby routines to put phone in power save mode when folded shut I was able to get 32 hours with 5 hours screen on time.
I just leave Power Saving Mode on all the time, tweaked so that brightness doesn't dim, and 5g doesn't turn off. So the only difference is CPU is down by 70%. I haven't noticed any degradation in performance apart from longer battery life.
submit an error report on samsung members app > + button > error report if you think it's a software issue

It's pretty bad my phone was fully charged and was listing to the radio out in the garden fence painting via WiFi and within few hours I here the low battery beep thought to myself it can't be flat looked and was on 9% I'm on 13 B3 latest hope they issue hotfix fast

I am not on A13 Beta, but have experienced abysmal battery life ever since updating to March update (A12L), April/May/June updates didn't change anything in that negative regard. Before, the phone barely lasted the day - since March, I have to top up every day. Reset didn't help. Never had those problems with my P4 XL. Right now, my P6 Pro is reminding me of my P3 - and not in a good way. To have massive battery anxiety throughout the day is not something I expected from a flagship phone with a 5000 mah battery.
