Can anyone tell me what the symbol is left of the headphones one?
Better still, anyone got a full list of icons we're likely to see.
Thank you.

Yes. It's when BoomSound is active. Usually appears when sound from an app or music is playing. If you go to settings and scroll down you'll see BoomSound and the icon there too.

I would say the mod version of Pandora is better

I like this one better. Doesn't slacker radio have more music also?

I installed this on my phone and I feel like the sound output via earbuds is distorted. I listened to one song via Milk and the same exact song via Google Music and the one on Milk sounded distorted and not good. The Bass was entirely too blown out. I don't know if it is a conflict with Boomsound or what, but via stock music player and via Google Music everything sounds awesome.

Great to hear. I have noticed this problem as well actually. I get this with certain tracks on both this and Pandora. I'll confess to being a bit of an audiophile (yes, also a bitrate snob), and every once in a while I will just have to banish a song from playing on a station.

You'll see the option buried in sounds. Of course I'm sure you already know you can't disable it. Only when headphones are plugged in you can.

Out of curiosity, if one were to enable the equalizer in Google Play Music app, does it conflict with BoomSound? Every time I enable the former, the sound changes pretty dramatically, even when I leave the EQ set to FLAT.

I never used the EQ in Google play music. I don't believe in it Viper, Boomsound and hk are the best.

But don't you think that the Boomsound over-emphasizes treble...like much more than a tad?
Hi
Does anyone know how/if I can toggle BoomSound to be off on insertion of headphones?
Cheers

All you have to do is toggle it once while headphones are plugged in and it remembers that setting every time you plug back in. Just plug in headphones and go to settings and turn off boom sound.
Oh. That is simple.
Ok. Do you know if this is in tasker anyway?

For some reason my device is shown as HTC ONE_M8 on Bluetooth devices such as my car.
How do I change this? I've looked in settings but find no way to change it.
Settings, bluetooth, menu button, rename device

Lol. As always quick and to the point.
My Bluetooth is named "It's my phone biatch'
It always makes me laugh when friends ask whose phone lol
Used to be able to select whether you set a single volume for both ringtone and notifications or set separately. I don't see this option available anymore. Is that a Marshmallow thing or a Sense thing?

goto settings > sound & notification. its just below the vibrate at the top.

Where? I'm really not being obtuse, I just don't see it after the upgrade. Screenshot would help.
