Hey, I just went from stock rom to the CM 11 rom and noticed that ant+ isn't working anymore. Now I think that the CM 11 is heavenly compared to the Stock rom, but as an active runner I would like it if my ant+ hrm could be working.
Is there going to be support for Ant+ in the future or should I go seek for another rom?
4.1.2.

Official CM10 for Acro S had CWM as recovery. Most unofficial CM11 roms have TWRP as their recovery. You just need to grab a copy boot.img from the zip file of the rom you wish to flash and flash that via fastboot first:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
After rebooting, you then flash the full rom zip itself.
I advise asking your rom's developer beforehand to confirm that the boot.img does includes a recovery. Just in case...
Thanks a tonne guys will try and let you'll know asap

I tried to install a new rom onto my xperia arc s. I followed the instructions and flashed the boot.img and cleared the caches etc. However, everytime I try to install the zip file, the assert failed and status 7 error always shows up. Can anyone guide me through this? Thank you very much.

Hi Guys. This problem has me beat and i have been searching around for an answer but cant seem to figure it out
Running the LG E975 - 4.1.2 stock rom on build e97510b. This phone was from ebay and as far as i can tell its from taiwan (has taipei set as default timezone)
I rooted my phone successfully (checked using root checker)
Used freegee to unlock the bootloader and install CWRecovery 6.0.3.0
I Have tried an AT&T Rom, International rom and a rom from the "android development" section also
None of these roms will flash (always says fail)
The error is;
Assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "e975" || getprop(ro.bui
E:Error in /sdcard/Roms/"rom name".zip
Status 7
I have read it could be due to the first line in the updater-script file. i have tried deleting it, saving it however notepad wont let me just save over it. i need to save it as a new file, and replace it in the zip but when i try to replace the file in the zip it says it cant do it due to invalid or corrupted file (surely not every rom ive downloaded is actually corrupted)
Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thankyou in advance
Have you considered they are called e970 roms for a reason?
Use kdz updater to flash stock e975 rom, then root and unlock. After, flash e975 roms. Id you want e970 roms, buy an e970.
Sent from LG E975 pwd by CM 10.2
Really this is something i can't understand.
Means, you have a e975 so why the heck you flash roms from at&t? And that for the first time you flash a rom on this phone. Why not choose a rom for e975 to be sure that nothing happen. Or maybe you like it more dangerous)))
You should better inform yourself (reading helps) before start flashing roms.
A rule of thumb: flash only that, what is made for your phone(modell)
The at&t rom was an accident, and once i realised it i downloaded a proper e975 rom. The international one and the regular one are boh e975 and they do not work. I think you missed the point im trying to make here, no rom including 2 types of e975 rom will flash due to the error i am receiving
Can you tell what roms aren't working?
Btw. the error you get is only when you flash a rom from a different modell, it's the updater script.
Sure. I have tried Pacman, CM10.1 Nightly and beanstalk
all give me the same error
I am bout to try to flash the "geehrc_unsigned_stock_rom_E975_INTL.zip" rom which is version 10E, my current is version 10B. if this works i will try to flash from that rom to a custom.
Ok i was just able to flash the "geehrc_unsigned_stock_rom_E975_INTL.zip" with no problems in CWRecovery so i did a backup and tried to flash the CM10.1 Nightly and it failed again. im not sure whats wrong

It was the same error as in my original post. I worked out what was wrong just now. Even though i selected CWM recovery in freegee it for some reason still installed TWRP. I did a nandroid restore to the original rom, used freegee again and selected CWM recovery. this time it installed it correctly and roms are flashing properly now. thanks for the help anyway guys

Hi All,
I am trying to flash the FML Rom linked here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2427087, everytime I go into CWM to flash it I get an error that reads
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E: Error in /sdcard/0/cm-11-20131121-FML-toro.zip (status 7)
installation aborted
I would reply to the thread about the ROM however I am new here and cannot do it. Can anyone help me?

You were right in the previous comment. i needed to update CWM. My mistake, thanks for helping me out.!
Dear forumers.
I usually do not ask stupid questions as that, but there I am very very confused
I just want to install some new OS to my XPERIA S (LT26i). Now I have all stock cellphone conditions with original 4.0.4 Android version.
My wish is to have phone fastest as it can be and all stable. I have read many many topics and guides there but I am still confused where to start. I need all flashtool, bootloader unlock, root, recovery, flash kernel, flash rom and do not know what to do first, second, third,... And I do not want to break up phone.
Can someone please kindly understand me and copy links of actual guides in right order? I need suggestions for 4.4 version OS-s too.
Best regards

Is it? If I go to Update Center or on PC in Companion it says me that phone is up to date. It cant find any updates. I don't know why?
Can someone just tell me where I must begin, and what to do next, and what is the last thing to do? (guess flash new rom)
I just need order of work from all stock phone. I understend the guides and I can find them, but do not know what is the right order.
Probably you don't know that it is not so easy to first doing that, but for noobs that forum is so hard to understand especially because of risk to damage your phone is something goes wrong.

Now you need to download a rom from the development section, then open the zip on your pc, extract the boot.img. Then copy the rom zip file on to your phone and flash the boot.img using fastboot or Flashtool. Then turn on your phone, and keep on pressing the volume up button to enter recovery. Then wipe everything except system and sdcard and then flash the rom.zip. Reboot your phone and it should be running kitkat

i tried many aosp was best but lack of customization killed me,but smoothness was real awesome the guy helped u is the developer of carbon rom but i didnt try it so no comments.for daily driver and gaming i wont recommend rayman's rom or pureslim.no offence, they are stable but comparitively few games were slow and dint start on both like subway surfers and fifa 14 :silly:
I have installed this on my xperia but it's not that it has to be. It's version 4.6 not 4.8 and it's not 4.4 kitkat bur 4.1.2 JB. OTA updater says: Error fetching update info: Invalid ROM (LeOpArDx) & device (lt26ii) combo!
And device is LT26i not ii. At 60 page of discussion the others have the same problem with version and updating.

Flash just recovery, first reboot in recovery and flash cm12, and skip the rooting process and you will be fine
