Hi guys,
So I bought samsung galaxy note 10.1 ( 2014 edition ) and I wanted to root it for quite some time,
but I have noticed that there are bit flags that MAY void the warranty and I can't find any explanation or whatsoever about them.
Can any of you tell me were can I find more information about them?
(like how many are there, their names, how they are triggered, how to not trigger them, and perhaps how they work)?
Thanks in advance,

Hey all,
Quick question. So apparently I have a bad BT module in my Note 10.1 2014 because it can't stay connected to my BT Logitech K810 (as others have suggested in this forum). It has a 2 year John Lewis warranty and they want to send it away on my behalf.
But, they won't see that I've tripped knox in the shop so no doubt they will send it away.
What's likely to happen and what are the potential (worst case) ramifications of letting them do this? ie if they send it, Samsung return it and say "no", can JL charge me for carriage and labour fees incurred by Samsung? Or are they just likely to sort it? Does anyone have any experience, because right now I wish I hadn't tripped KNOX
Cheers
J
flash it back to stock, don't say anything.
Many UK people have tripped knox and still got their tablets repaired.
Cool I will have a bash then. Still - anyone know about what happens financially if they send it back claiming Knox to be tripped? Will I get charged? Or would they have to implicitly inform me before hand if that was the case?
I have not heard of a single case where a tripped knox and Samsung have not repaired it. Plus it be sorted via John Lewis as well, they wouldn't have a clue anyway.
Hello friends, I've never posted anything here because of every brick, every bug, every thing failing into my mobile I could fix up is because of you and thanks for it. Now I'm posting because of something about Samsung I want to know if it's truth. I'm from Venezuela, got a Samsung s4 mini Duos, I've seen how this phone dies because of Sudden Death, My samsung is not rooted nor CWM. It's on stock. People say that Samsung s4 mini dies only on stock. They suggest to flash a custom rom to solve this problem. Is it truth? Should I Flash a custom rom so I don't need to worry about sudden death? Thanks....!:crying:
I am having an issue that my phone will not charge wirelessly. Samsung replaced my charger, and the new one has the same issue. The charger worked fine with a friends S6. I am convinced the issue is with the phone. I have talked with Samsung, and they want me to factory reset my phone. If it will still not charge, they want me to send it in for repair. I have tripped knox and have custom recovery and rom. I will restore to stock before sending it in. Is the tripping of knox going to be a problem with Samsung?

It very well *could* be
Its likely not the phone but something funky with your software.
Restore to stock and check if the problem persists.

I plan to test that before returning. My real question is has anyone returned a phone that has been Knox tried to Samsung for warranty repair? Did Samsung question it?
