Suspect Problem on playing video - HTC One X

Hi, htc one x can record video in hd and full hd format.
But i can play correctly only hd formay. When i playing full hd format on htc one x, tends to slow down the video and the colors are distorted.
On pc same video playing correctly.
I have viperx 4.0.7.
Is normal or my smarphone have some problems? Thank you

Play HD Videos on X1i ????

hello need a player who can play hd videos ( coreplayer, tmcpm, windows media, divix mobile etc ) dont work what can i do ? i cant play avis or some other videos on the x1 rom is toutchit v11 leo german please help me!
Let me Google that for you.
X1's hardware can barely play SD videos with acceptable quality/frame rate, let alone HD...
Another thing - the screen is 800x480 and it is not capable for any of the HD resolutions (720p/1080i/p). There are not enough pixels to display HD content. DVD (NTSC) video resolution is 720x480 and that's eventually the best you can get as a resolution off X1.
X1's hardware is capable (of SD), just use the normal WinMo Media Player instead of others which cannot make use of hardware accel.
Use the tool provided by XDA to convert your movies to mp4. Those can be played in high res 800 X 480 with wmp or the media xperience panel.

...i played video with more pixels than screen have...it was about (854*480) in .flv format, played in CorePlayer...i have few videos of that size, some of them plays fine, some of them are played in low frame rate(few per second only)...so its depends on hardware speed, not screen resolution...
armin van buuren-love you more.flv, is 864*480,and it plays very good...video is downloaded from youtube via savevid.com
I've posted links, so you can see...
I use mp4 format and this is this same what HD quality

playing avi

is there any way to play avi fles on the desire ???
try aplayer or mplayer. Android is super-dog**** for video playback apps, even winmo tcpmp ***** slaps Android and that was 3 years back

You'll get a better result by converting to MP4 first from what I understand. My Desire should be delivered today so haven't tried it yet but have some videos converted to MP4 using the HD (Blackstone) video converter, you'll find on here somewhere, waiting to be tested.
i also convert mine to MP4. Redkawa is the only converter i've found that keeps the audio in sync when played on the desire though. (g1 settings, single pass MP4)
yxflash plays avi/divx videos. i think it's a trial though - limited to a certain number of minutes playback before you have to register.

Do we have any video playback tweaks?? coz i get lags wen playing in Vplayer/bsplayer/ the normal one, one thing is coz of the HD quality of the video, but is there anyway to play it well?

streaming to TV issue

I've noticed that streaming videos on my tv over wi-fi is lagging with my htc one, while it works fine with m old htc rezound.
videos are roughly the same size, same resolution and everything. i tried copying video from my rezound to the one and rezound video streams perfectly from my one! apparently, only videos shot with htc one are having issue. I even tried lower quality HD instead of full HD and it still does the same.
any thoughts?

I'm sorry I don't have an answer, but what are you using to stream video to the tv? I wouldn't know how to but I can try to replicate it

I just play videos from the gallery using default dnla.I tried a few other dlna apps from the play store but I had the same issue. I read somewhere that htc one uses codecs that may not be supported by older tv's so I guess that makes sense.
If you have an xbox 360 stream the videos from your phone to the xbox. Works flawlessly for me that way.
