hi i have a wildfire s and i want to back to stock rom.. but u cant find 2.13.720.1 rom for my phone...
any body have this for wildfire s plz?!

1. i have one X with CID HTC-044 , i daily check for software update from settings menu but it says THERE ARE NO UPDATES AVAILABLE for you phone. i want to ask whether anybody in the world with CID htc-044 has got jelly bean update or not ? is JB update for htc-044 released yet ?
2: i have unlocked bootloader and rooted my one x (franco kernel beind used at the moment) but the ROM is Stock. will be able to get updates when htc-044 JB update wll be released ?? or i have to unroot(get back to stock kernel) and lock the bootloader again to get the updates ???
kindly explain me... i am worried !

HTC have not released the update yet. Just spoke to customer care and they said it will be released before end of NOV 12.
waiting for it...!
What you need =
STOCK ROM (NOT ROOTED)
STOCK KERNEL (BOOT.IMG)
STOCK RECOVERY
NO need to relock the Bootloader
its not hard to find ....use the search button it's there with a purpose !

My First Post at XDA lol anyway after some researching around XDA and Google
HTC is going to release All the remaining Updates After 20th November They have some Problem I have my One X Rooted With STOCK Rom Kernel
To answer your question Dude u need Stock Rom Stock Recovery And a Stock Kernel To Update To Your Jelly Bean Also If U Dont Wanna Lose Root then head over to the market and downlaod OTA Rootkeeper
Also I am posting a link to unroot the One X without too much trouble flashing and everything

What do you mean official ? What I assume your official is stock . And you want stock JB ROM . If you want that , just find the JB RUU for your CID if it's been released for your CID and flash it ??
Yeah, if you have the official RUU for your phone then you're good to go. I doubt you have it though?
If you're still on an ICS hboot such as 1.28 you could always flash the official 4.0.4 stock RUU and then wait for the OTA update.
If you're on a 1.31 or 1.33 hboot, I read a thread about downgrading them, might be worth a search on the forums.

If you're on 1.33 that means your CID is Taiwan's CID . Just go check if anyone have posted the latest RUU and flash it .
Hi all, i made 2 ROMs based on official 3.14.401.31.
First is authentic, second is de-odexed (1.4.1) and zipaligned (SDK r21).
I made an update package for both ROMs, this update contains:
» Busybox v1.20.2.
» init.d scripts support.
» removal bloatware and Google/HTC crap.
» SuperSU + su binary v0.99.
» unsecured boot.img.
Don't forget to flash new boot.img when you flash the update.

Download Update
Download ROM De-odexed and zipaligned
Download Update
Download Authentic boot.img
Download Authentic firmware (Hboot 1.39)
Download Authentic recovery.img
Feel free to use it as base for your ROM, mod or whatever.

No, you can't. You have to update your devices hboot version.

No you can't, you can use this tool to update your hboot to 1.36 (came with this base) After that you can flash this rom.
my device is a t-mobile,so i thing it wont go....
so far the best

If you have hboot 1.31 or higher, unlocked bootloader and custom recovery, yes you can!

when installing a custom i wiped internal and did a factory reset and most times it shows unrooted

If you want to go back to stock,Flash the stock jelly bean rom kdz file with the usual method. After that update to kitkat ONLY via Over The Air. That works for me every time.

Bro in Samsung and HTC you can't revert back to previous versions. Are you sure I can flash jelly bean when I'm in kit Kat?

I installed jelly bean it just boot loops, it doesn't work. Also mine not going to stock recovery to factory reset. It just restarts.

Rooted phone no need to OTA,I recommend use flash kdz firmware method.
Thanks bro i will then update to kitkat via kidzee only and wat if my phone gets sim locked again since i got this from E bay sim unlocked...

it really dosent matter if it says rooted or not ... since even if you never root your phone but just use repair/recovery option in lg tool, and BTW that's allowed by LG , you will end up with "rooted".
i've sent my lg for a rapair under a warranty with rooted status and it was all good, they fix the issue and didnt care about it at all.
