Just got this email from Sprint. Curious if anyone has signed up for it.

It's for my wife's phone, since she's the primary on the account. She's still on 4.3 stock/rooted MD4 bootloader until I get time to upgrade her to KK. I'll get you the apk if I do it.

My mom just got this trial email also. She installed the app, and said it is supposed to make her phone faster. She now swears that her Facebook app is significantly faster.
I don't know anything else about it besides this.

There are two APKs. The actual app (very simple) and a proxy switcher. My mom's phone is a Galaxy S4, and I have an LG G Flex. As soon as I install it, it says the trial has ended. The APKs should be attached if I did it right.

[Q] TMobile says: consider rebooting

I just got a notification from my Tmobile (US) My Account app that I hadn't rebooted in a week and should consider rebooting if I was having any issues.
WTF?
I remember when I had my g1 I had some problem with 3g because my SIM card went bad. The vs rep suggested I reboot my phone at least one a week to "clear up" any issues I might be having.
This was back when I would reboot my phone almost daily to try new mods and stuff for my phone.
Rebooting seems the cure for all tech device issues. I was just surprised to get a message like this from TMO

It's just the My T-Mobile application acting like a nanny. Personally, I don't recommend using this app at all, but that's just my opinion.
It's the T-Mobile "My Account"/"My Device" application. Go into the Account app, go to system messages or whatever, and turn them off.
I've also uninstalled the My Account app since then, as the mobile interface for checking minutes/usage is really really good. Just added a bookmark shortcut to my homescreen instead:

check out their mobile website, its just as good as the app if not better. i stopped using the app a while back.
I don't have a data plan on the phone. The app is useful for changing my plan from pay as you go by the minute to something with data for when I need it.
I hadn't realized the app had alerts. They're off now.

I almost always have wifi when near home. If I'm not near wifi and I need data, I turn on TMO's data for a day plan using the app.
I use prepaid data when traveling.

It installs but will not actually work on my 2012 BMW X5,
I spoke with BMW Assist and they said it has not been turned on here in the US for Android.
The original version for ios works on my old I phone however.
Thanks for posting this! I just installed this on my HTC EVO LTE and found that it works exactly as the iOS version but has a much cleaner look to the UI. I was even able to run a vehicle locator query while connected at 1xRTT speed.
For people that have gotten it to work, are you using your My BMW login/password? I installed the app on my HTC One X but when I use the login that gets me into the My BMW site, it's not working.

If you're using the app for the first time, you must have an ACTIVE BMW Assist account to enroll your phone. Please note your password is NOT the same as the one you use to sign onto BMWNA.com web services. The car password is typically a 4-digit number, assigned by your dealership at the time of sale. I've seen some dealers use "0000" "1111" or "1234" for the Assist password.
2011 X5 with bmw assist active. Was finally able to get logged in (all caps for user and passcode). Noticing that there is no climate control. Does this vary with the model/year? Also thanks again for the upload!

Thanks downloaded Apk and it worked with Samsung S3 on X3 2013 USA.
Once dealer setup assist account - install software to your phone with apk and login with the username (email address you provided to dealer) and password. (takes few hours to activate once dealer submit the information).
when you login into your apps it will ask user name and password and for first time it will ask PIN which will be saved and ask next time you login.

[Q] Google Play Carrier Billing Error Code

I'm usually quite savvy at these things, but I've seem to run into a snag and need some help. I've searched everywhere and can't find a solution
I am unable to purchase anything on Google Play via carrier billing. Credit cards seem to work just fine. I get this message: "Your purchase on your T-Mobile USA billing account was declined. Please select a different payment method [BM-CPE-16]. I called T-Mobile to make sure I didn't go over any limits and they did some troubleshooting with me to no avail. They connected me to Google Play and they couldn't help me either (They seem to blame each other for the problem) I did root my S4 a few days after I got it (around May 14th) I'm not sure if I screwed something up with the Play Store in the process. Any help would be greatly appericated!

Are you making the purchase while on TMob's network (ie not on WiFi)? At least on Sprint I'd always get that error if I was using WiFi.

Oh yea, for sure. That was the first thing I did. Turn off my WiFi... I cleared Google Play, Google Play Services and Framework. Even tried removing and adding back my whole Google Account. I also removed billing from Wallet online. I may factory restore in the morning to see if that helps.

I had the same issue and noticed that google billing service error occure in only one case - when I restored my apps from backup (like titanum backup). When I resotre all my apps, after fresh rom flashing, from google play store everything is fine. So I think that's the case.

Final Edit! Okay I found it, at least for the US Market, it is not in the Play Store as Samsung said. It is in the Galaxy App store, waaaay at the bottom of "Staff Picks"

^^^ OK, thanks. I think I found it, I see what you are talking about now. In staff picks on my N7 it's not on the very bottom, but about 2/3rds of the way down. It says "Galaxy Game Pack" then under that "free items & credits for galaxy!". I think this is it at least Thanks for the help!

Ah thanks for checking, I guess it's my phone then. Maybe it's because I'm rooted, so odd. I was able to side load the APK, but I was hoping for automatic updates from the Play Store.

Just got my galaxy watch... the plugin for it is released, works fine, but samsung pay is inoperable for me now... tried to revert to the old Pay plugin that was still working on my S2, but now the automatic update of the plugin can't be prevented (that I know of) and the latest plugin detects root even with magisk hide. Hoping there's a workaround again.
i'm using the watch with my P2XL. working fine. but no messaging app? i get a notification and can view new messages... but no actual app? am i missing something? can't even find one in the store to install. am i missing something?

Just download these apks fro apkmirror and install them : galaxy wearables , gear s plugin and samsung accessory service. Everything should work fine after.
