Market Enabler/Unlocker can't seem to fake carrier's anymore.

I don't know if anyone of you ever used Market Enabler/Unlocker
Summarized? It's a wonderful app that allows you to change your carrier region to Verizon/TMobile and allows you to download apps from other regions, not just US. All it does is change your regional code via root and ofcourse it's reversible.
As of lately it doesn't work, can anyone report the same, happened to all of my Nexus devices. GNexus, 4, 7
Google Play 3.10.10
My view is probably Google Play Services get's updated on it's own and killed it. Anyone found an alternate fix?

Yes but that topic is 2012 February and the issue started a few days ago. Until then it worked fine for a year

I'm on same Google Play Store version and it works fine. Try clearing the Google account and re-login.

Hm, today I'm suddenly seeing local apps and prices in € too. I saw one user on reddit stating that he could see US apps as he had a US issued credit card, but he was in another EU country. So it may be that Google changed the policy of how the Store apps are shown regionally.
The upside is that the reviews aren't only local like they were before, but are the same, in English.

True but I had issued a US card and it only shows in $ when I'm at checkout.

I'm having the same issue, hopefully someone can find a solution soon

Ive found one, using Tunnelbear VPN all you need to do is clear market data + cache and enable TunnelBear VPN, Connect, then open Play Store, agree to the terms, then disconnect, next time you look you'll find it in $

TunnelBear + ME/U = no worky on GS3 in Canadia.
Even tried with a USA Sim

Anyone getting this every morning?

No but have you messed with your dpi at all? That can cause issues like that

I think google has something thats stopping google plus sign in for google play services on rooted phones, im on clean rom 4.9 and google play services are simply not working

Fox. ..go into the app drawer and see if the application has an update option.
If yes. ..update it.
The services apps were updated 2 days ago by Google. And depending on your market update settings it may not have been done.
The application is not found in the play store, and needs a manual fix if your settings blocked it.
I got the same message before updating, and now it's gone. ...g

Just remove it from the ap drawer.
Its useless.
Easy.
Edit: I should clarify: dont remove, merely use the freeze option via TiBu. Then hit the disconect from market option.

Hey D, I even installed the actual google play services.apk that i found. But it still didn't help with the hangouts thing! Asking for updating play services. Same msg as you.
Edit: got these from installing on my skyrocket. Just too see what WOULD happen!! Since everything is stock on there! Now everything works!!

Getting Kindle for Samsung GT-I9195

I have been trying to get Kindle for Samsung on my Galaxy S4 Mini (Not Rooted) and it wont pop up in the Samsung Apps Store App on my phone but online i've seen the app in Samsung Apps on Samsungs Website, I contacted Samsung three times now and there telling me everytime I need to update Samsung Apps but I have, can someone help or maybe post the APK?????? Thanks

Im not looking fir the regular Kindle app, im looking specifically for the new Kindle For Samsung app (not on Plqy store) and its nit regeon locked as far as the website goes because it says I can download it.

You are using the old samsung hub, first you have to update to galaxy apps:
Uninstall all updates to samsung app store / reboot
go to samsungapps.com on your phone and download the apk and install
run the app
search again and install kindle for samsung

Final Edit! Okay I found it, at least for the US Market, it is not in the Play Store as Samsung said. It is in the Galaxy App store, waaaay at the bottom of "Staff Picks"

It's also mostly free in app currency, like free diamonds or gems and other crap. This promotion is total bull**** pretty much.

^^^ OK, thanks. I think I found it, I see what you are talking about now. In staff picks on my N7 it's not on the very bottom, but about 2/3rds of the way down. It says "Galaxy Game Pack" then under that "free items & credits for galaxy!". I think this is it at least Thanks for the help!

Question Missing ecg app?

Hi All
Anyone else missing the ecg app, in the UK and its not on my phone and i cant find it on the play store to install?

I had same problem, you need to go into the Play Store on the watch itself and update it

I think it's part of the Fitbit app. But as Orion stated, it might just need an update (or be installed).
I'm looking for an alternative to Fitbit, though. Google Fit wasn't preinstalled, which I find weird considering this is GOOGLE hardware, but it does a lot of what Fitbit and it's free. It does not have an ECG function, though. Or a blood pressure one, either. Though that should be possible to do, right?

I'm in the same boat. I'm in Japan and ecg isn't supported here. Anyone know a workaround?

Try clearing the cache and data for the app on both the phone and watch.

Tried cleaning the cache on mobile and watch, but it did not work. It looks like I'm in the not supported ECG countries.
There must be some other way how to manipulate the device so you can complete ECG app setup, but I'm not aware as of now.

I downloaded the free VPN app Octahide, selected a US provider, switched to English settings out of Japanese and changed my location in Fitbit to the US. Restarted the watch and it worked! I am surprised it was that easy.
I should add that I already had the app on the watch and it was visible. Vpn worked as a charm. It also continues to work even though I turned off the VPN. Thanks a million
