BBM and Social Media not working over 3g after unlock
Hey a friend of mine e got her blackberry 9900 unlocked and now BBM and social media only works over wifi. It won't work over her data plan. Anyone knows how to fix this? It's an unlocked rogers phone running on the fido network.

She'll have to get the additional BlackBerry plan to work with her new SIM card. Easily done by speaking with her new network provider and asking them to add the package on.
BlackBerry charge extra to use BBM.

There have been a lot of changes with unlocking BlackBerry handsets over the past couple of months. I would suspect that the tools are no longer available. All started to really change when the Z10 was released.

What's your Network provider?
I suggest you can get the unlock code for your Blackberry 9800 from UnBBLock.com Here submit your Network provider, Country, IMEI. They will provide unlock code through your E-mail..You can use this code to unlock your mobile...

This is a new wp8 feature....or u must install a custom rom on your L900...

First, your phone should be developer unlocked. Then, you can use a software called Screen Capturer (on XDA)
Actually, this app has been developed for quite a long time. I have used it for few months. Excellent! :good:

The quality's not awesome, but it gets the point across. I don't get why Microsoft didn't add screenshots to 7.8 though.

Another reason. I just use my Lumia for a zune in gym and make calls. Productive wise its useless to me.

a util to connect to the computer and do it that way. I use this device for testing at work and my employer prefers to not unlock devices if it can be helped.

You need at least developer unlock.
You can get a free developer account if you have @.edu email. If you don't have it, you can try to borrow @.edu emails from your friends.
Attention: You just need @.edu email for activating your developer account. It means if you can ask friends to borrow @edu email for just within an hour (maybe 20 minutes if you are good at using computers ) to active your account.
But it is much better if you have your own @.edu email

It's for my wife's phone, since she's the primary on the account. She's still on 4.3 stock/rooted MD4 bootloader until I get time to upgrade her to KK. I'll get you the apk if I do it.

My mom just got this trial email also. She installed the app, and said it is supposed to make her phone faster. She now swears that her Facebook app is significantly faster.
I don't know anything else about it besides this.

There are two APKs. The actual app (very simple) and a proxy switcher. My mom's phone is a Galaxy S4, and I have an LG G Flex. As soon as I install it, it says the trial has ended. The APKs should be attached if I did it right.

Useless for guys like me who don't use gapps on their phones. It's a retarded piece of crap that refuses to work without gapps. So i uninstalled it and i sent them an email telling them to go eff themselves. WhatsApp works perfectly fine without gapps and i had the chance to try it on the slowest networks possible from Chenai to Galle or Djibouti and Madagascar. It never failed to work on all those continents and countries i had the chance to visit with my bulk carrier. Google Duo, GO EFF YOURSELF ! WE DON'T NEED YOU.

Actually it get a little bit popular in our country since they banned the VoIP protocol, Duo uses WebRTC protocol so inexperienced people shouldn't care about vpn apps

Question Missing ecg app?

Hi All
Anyone else missing the ecg app, in the UK and its not on my phone and i cant find it on the play store to install?

I had same problem, you need to go into the Play Store on the watch itself and update it

I think it's part of the Fitbit app. But as Orion stated, it might just need an update (or be installed).
I'm looking for an alternative to Fitbit, though. Google Fit wasn't preinstalled, which I find weird considering this is GOOGLE hardware, but it does a lot of what Fitbit and it's free. It does not have an ECG function, though. Or a blood pressure one, either. Though that should be possible to do, right?

I'm in the same boat. I'm in Japan and ecg isn't supported here. Anyone know a workaround?

Try clearing the cache and data for the app on both the phone and watch.

Tried cleaning the cache on mobile and watch, but it did not work. It looks like I'm in the not supported ECG countries.
There must be some other way how to manipulate the device so you can complete ECG app setup, but I'm not aware as of now.

I downloaded the free VPN app Octahide, selected a US provider, switched to English settings out of Japanese and changed my location in Fitbit to the US. Restarted the watch and it worked! I am surprised it was that easy.
I should add that I already had the app on the watch and it was visible. Vpn worked as a charm. It also continues to work even though I turned off the VPN. Thanks a million
