[Q] Yeap. I deleted my backups while wiping my sdcard. Please Halp ! - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello Everyone,
As the title says I have successfully wiped my phone and all of my backups =) ..
In ClockworkMod recovery v6.0.4.3 I originally installed
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687429
and..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2692470
There was a weird rectangular red box that kept popping up and I was trying to re install the RR mod with the fix.
Welp I..
Wipe data/Factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Wipe Delvic cache
Format /data
annnd.. Format /data and /data/media pretty much wiping my backups and roms on my phone.
My phone now hangs at the att Logo.
Things I have tried:
Flashing roms and kernels using odin.
sideloading using clockwork: (My PC does not recognize the device to sideload) I am assuming because there is no rom? ..because i wiped it. =(
Is there any way to access the filesystem on my phone from my pc with clockwork recovery to add roms/ kernels to install? While installing the majedtic kernel or the Res rom mod did i put my phone in an irreversible state? Can I get into a stock rom or custom rom? ( any will do at this point) Any other suggestions?
Current state:
I can get to the download mode. I can get to the Clockwork recovery screen. I cannot connect via sideload. I hang at the attt screen.
Thanks for the halp!

In download mode, you can install Philz Touch custom recovery via Odin.
Copy a ROM to an SD card. After flashing Philz, boot into recovery and install the ROM from the SD card.

[Q] G2 Stuck on Clockword Mod

Whenever I try to reboot my G2, it returns me to the Clockwork Mod Recovery screen. I have already tried a factory reset and have wiped my cache from the on screen menu on Clockwork Mod, how do I get my phone to boot properly.
I have tried to mount my SD card/system from within Clockwork Mod but my computer can't detect it.
And when i try to install zips from sdcard, it says no files detected.
have you flashed a rom ? if you factory reset/data you wiped the rom as well
broken SD card? broken ROM?
my roms got wiped and my SD card has been working fine since the rebooting problem started.
flash a new ROM

[Q] Install ROM after full data wipe question

So back on my Evo 4G whenever I wanted to flash a new rom, I would load it on my SD card. Then boot into custom recovery and wipe cache/Dalvik... Then would wipe ALL data/factory reset. Then I would install my new rom off of my SD card.
With my S3, I cannot access anything on my SD via CWM recovery. I have a SDXC card formatted to FAT32 and am on Blazer 1.8
I want to do a full data wipe before flashing new ROMS, but I am worried that if I do, I won't have a way of getting a zip file back on my phone after doing so.
It ALMOST seems like. Remember being able to access my SD in CWM when I was on a stock rooted rom. But I'm not positive.
How does one do a wipe data option in CWM and then get a flash able zip back on the phone afterwards if the SD card is not available to see and move data to/from?
I don'tanna end up wiping all data and then finding out that I hav no way of installing/restoring a rom.
Thanks!

Move on to TWRP for your recovery, much more features but if you don't want to do that go to CWM's website and update to 6.0 it will allow you to "see" your sd card

+1 on TWRP, much nicer and more features and themable To install, download GooManager open it and grant SU access then tap menu and select "Install OpenRecoveryScript" and it'll do the rest.
BTW you're following the process ok, except you're doing one additional step that is not required that is to wipe cache and dalvik. When you factory reset you're deleting the data partition which also has both cache. It should be wipe system then do factory reset, flash the ROM after that and you should be all set.
Install stock JB LS8 after wipe
I got info on how to wipe the phone using CW mode. It does explain to format boot and system partition and ask to reboot. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410881)I was left in confusion. If boot is formatted, would CW mode work after reboot ? After full wipe, can I get GT-I9100 in download mode and do stock rom installation using ODIN ? Thanks in advance.

Formatting Boot will not affect CWM. CWM is your receovery not your boot. Also after a full wipe you should be able to get into download mode to flash via ODIN.
Install TWRP or update CWM, one version of CWM had a bug and don't let you access the sdcard.
If you choose TWRP, in the Format Menu, DO NOT use "Format Data" Second Row/Right Option. It will delete your data on the internal storage.

Make sure you have the most recent version of CWM. I can access both internal and external storage. It's downloadable from the ClockworkMod app.

Deleted OS and SD card.

I deleted my OS and cleared my SD card. Now I have no OS to reboot from and im stuck at the HTC logo. I tried opening through TRWP and finding a zip to install but i cleared everything. Any way around this?
Connect to your computer, mount USB storage in TWRP and copy a rom to flash
Did you search at all ?
Well then here we go :
Can you mount USB in recovery ( I know the latest cmw can )
If yes just move the rom to the phone sd and flash it again. With or without a full wipe ...that's your choice ....
If it's exactly the same rom with the stock kernel of that rom a full wipe is NOT necessary.
If you want to try another rom you have to flash the boot.img and then flash the rom WITH full wipe !
If you can't mount your phone as a USB drive in recovery i suggest you flash the latest cmw recovery. ( I don't know your recovery as I never used it)

I'm using TWRP and I have a ROM now in my /sdcard. Problem is when I try to wipe the cache, Davik Cache wipe keeps failing.

Did you try rebooting from within the recovery menu "reboot system"? If that doesn't help just reflash v5 again since you can access recovery.Good luck

Sometimes the recovery refuses to flash the ROM correctly so one needs to switch recovery so i'll link you up with philz 6.25.0 just flash that recovery using your existing twrp recovery and then "reboot recovery" from within the twrp menu now it will bring up your new philz recovery up. (place the zip file of philz touch in your sd card via card reader)
Go to this http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/n7100 scroll down and download 6.25.0 or 6.26.0 .zip file and follow the above steps. If you need help on how to wipe your phone using philz follow this guide below
Go to mounts and storage and click on format/system, format/cache, format/preload , format/data and format/data and data/media (/sdcard)<--- this will format your internal storage,so back up if you have anything saved on it..NOTE: Do NOT format storage/sdcard1 cause this is your external sd card if you accidentally do format it you will lose all the contents on your sd card.If you still want to format your external sd card by this way make sure you have a card reader handy to be able to transfer the downloaded ROM and other contents on your sd card.
Now go back to main menu and click on advanced menu and wipe dalvik cache ,once again go back to main menu and click on wipe cache partition and go ahead and wipe it.At the very end go back to main menu and click on wipe data/factory reset and choose Clean to install a New ROM.Done.You have successfully performed all the wipes. Now you can go ahead and flash the ROM.
Now once you have succesfully flashed your rom and it boots up and you set up your phone, you can always switch back to twrp ,Good luck

just tried:
-install official 4.4.2 XXUFND3, reroot, get TWRP and flash....nothing
-install official 4.3 .........MK9, reroot, get twrp(switched also to philz) and flash...nothing
it always brings me back in recovery...
EDIT: just for security i've just flashed the last omni rom and it boots up, so i think its a rom's problem, any suggestion?

unable to mount /data

Hi all,
Let me start with the fact that I did something really stupid, I formated the storage in TWRP (version 2.8.0), instead of just wiping the dalvik, data and other. After that I installed the custom ROM, however the tablet would not boot, it stays at the boot animation. If I go to the TWRP, I see that the internatl storage is 0MB and it says it cannot mount \data and other files.
I tried installed other ROM as well but same thing.
Tablet is rooted.
Help me please to recover the tablet (P600)!!

Load the rom on an external sdcard, and flash from there. I usually wipe everything when flashing a new rom except for the external sd card. If that doesn't work, try booting into the odin download mode and reflash to stock firmware via ODIN. Then try flashing again.
