Did you try rebooting from within the recovery menu "reboot system"? If that doesn't help just reflash v5 again since you can access recovery.Good luck

Sometimes the recovery refuses to flash the ROM correctly so one needs to switch recovery so i'll link you up with philz 6.25.0 just flash that recovery using your existing twrp recovery and then "reboot recovery" from within the twrp menu now it will bring up your new philz recovery up. (place the zip file of philz touch in your sd card via card reader)
Go to this http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/n7100 scroll down and download 6.25.0 or 6.26.0 .zip file and follow the above steps. If you need help on how to wipe your phone using philz follow this guide below
Go to mounts and storage and click on format/system, format/cache, format/preload , format/data and format/data and data/media (/sdcard)<--- this will format your internal storage,so back up if you have anything saved on it..NOTE: Do NOT format storage/sdcard1 cause this is your external sd card if you accidentally do format it you will lose all the contents on your sd card.If you still want to format your external sd card by this way make sure you have a card reader handy to be able to transfer the downloaded ROM and other contents on your sd card.
Now go back to main menu and click on advanced menu and wipe dalvik cache ,once again go back to main menu and click on wipe cache partition and go ahead and wipe it.At the very end go back to main menu and click on wipe data/factory reset and choose Clean to install a New ROM.Done.You have successfully performed all the wipes. Now you can go ahead and flash the ROM.
Now once you have succesfully flashed your rom and it boots up and you set up your phone, you can always switch back to twrp ,Good luck

Can you flash your omega v27 rom again?Or even that doesn't boot up?
Do you have stock 4.3 ROM? Flash that via ODIN and re root your phone and do the steps again

-install official 4.3 .........MK9, reroot, get twrp(switched also to philz) and flash...nothing
it always brings me back in recovery...
EDIT: just for security i've just flashed the last omni rom and it boots up, so i think its a rom's problem, any suggestion?

[Q] How do you do a proper wipe before flashing a new rom?

I'm a bit confused as to how to do a complete wipe prior to flashing a new rom. I tried to go into CWM and go to mounts and storage to wipe format/system, format/cache and format/data. But after that it was stuck on the boot logo. I was able to get back into the bootloader via the power button and the volume down key. There I was able to restore to a previous back up. Did I do the wipe correctly? Am I supposed to immediately flash a rom from the sd card? Does this sort of wipe delete the zip files(and there associated files) from the previous rom on the sd card? What is the proper procedure to wiping the phone and then flashing a new rom? If this has already been explained in detail, just point me in the direction of said information.

Once you have formatted all partitions eg system and cache, you need to install Rom straight after it, the phone is stuck at boot screen as there is no Rom, check this guide out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1592355
if I helped then hit thanks,

This is how I flash a new rom
First I go into fastboot and flash the boot.IMG for the rom with
fastboot flash boot boot.IMG
I then boot into clockwork mod either with fastboot
fastboot boot clockworkmod.IMG (point to what its called on your pc, booting like this means adb will work. )
Or by going to hboot with volume keys select with power then pick recovery.
Then use cwm to flash the rom picking full wipe.

[Q] Install ROM after full data wipe question

So back on my Evo 4G whenever I wanted to flash a new rom, I would load it on my SD card. Then boot into custom recovery and wipe cache/Dalvik... Then would wipe ALL data/factory reset. Then I would install my new rom off of my SD card.
With my S3, I cannot access anything on my SD via CWM recovery. I have a SDXC card formatted to FAT32 and am on Blazer 1.8
I want to do a full data wipe before flashing new ROMS, but I am worried that if I do, I won't have a way of getting a zip file back on my phone after doing so.
It ALMOST seems like. Remember being able to access my SD in CWM when I was on a stock rooted rom. But I'm not positive.
How does one do a wipe data option in CWM and then get a flash able zip back on the phone afterwards if the SD card is not available to see and move data to/from?
I don'tanna end up wiping all data and then finding out that I hav no way of installing/restoring a rom.
Thanks!

Move on to TWRP for your recovery, much more features but if you don't want to do that go to CWM's website and update to 6.0 it will allow you to "see" your sd card

+1 on TWRP, much nicer and more features and themable To install, download GooManager open it and grant SU access then tap menu and select "Install OpenRecoveryScript" and it'll do the rest.
BTW you're following the process ok, except you're doing one additional step that is not required that is to wipe cache and dalvik. When you factory reset you're deleting the data partition which also has both cache. It should be wipe system then do factory reset, flash the ROM after that and you should be all set.
Install stock JB LS8 after wipe
I got info on how to wipe the phone using CW mode. It does explain to format boot and system partition and ask to reboot. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410881)I was left in confusion. If boot is formatted, would CW mode work after reboot ? After full wipe, can I get GT-I9100 in download mode and do stock rom installation using ODIN ? Thanks in advance.

Formatting Boot will not affect CWM. CWM is your receovery not your boot. Also after a full wipe you should be able to get into download mode to flash via ODIN.
Install TWRP or update CWM, one version of CWM had a bug and don't let you access the sdcard.
If you choose TWRP, in the Format Menu, DO NOT use "Format Data" Second Row/Right Option. It will delete your data on the internal storage.

Make sure you have the most recent version of CWM. I can access both internal and external storage. It's downloadable from the ClockworkMod app.

[Q] Did I just brick?

Recently rooted i747 with CWM and flashed Android 4.3 with no issues (shoulda just stopped there). I wanted to flash CM 10.2... data/factory reset, cache wipe, Davlik wipe... but flash failed. Rebooted into recovery to reflash 4.3, but nothing is found under sdcard/0. What am I missing? Thanks for any help!
Use the file explorer in recovery and navigate to /data/media/0. Your stuff should be there.
CWM v6.0.3.1
- reboot system now
- install zip from sdcard
- install zip from sideload
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- backup and restore
- mounts and storage
- advanced
I apologize for the ignorance, but I cannot for the life of me find any file explorer. When I try to install zip from sdcard, my only options are: 0/, clockworkmod/, and obb/. All of which state that no files are found.
Dl Rom onto sdcard with a computer. Maybe a factory reset will help first. I'm used to using twrp, which has a file explorer in it
I'll definately try that. Will my internal storage still be there? Thanks again.

Yes, your internal storage will still be there, unless u specifically wipe it. The file stucture is just a little different on these roms...

Using custom recoveries will not wipe your internal sd unless you specifically do so. Stock recovery (3e) however WILL wipe your internal on the latter releases.
Got it! Data/factory reset before flashing a stock 4.1.2 ROM through Odin and everythng is golden. Thanks!

Which version of TWRP?
Do you have a Sprint or Verizon device?

why did you wipe your internal storage??? thats where you put the rom so you can flash it...
this is what they put in the op for that rom
How to flash:
Download ROM and place it on your virtual SD card <--- thats your internal storage
Boot your phone in recovery mode (vol down + power)
In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of Android Revolution ROM
You can use data wiping option in AROMA (optionally if coming from earlier version of my ROM, obligatory if coming from stock or other custom ROM) <--- this is where you do the data wiping
After flashing process is complete, reboot the device
anytime you are flashing anything you most read then read it again after that read it again then and only then you proceed.

ok let me ask you a few questions;
1. witch rom you trying to to install?
name of rom and version
2. did you check md5sum to make sure its correct?
sometimes its just a bad download
3. witch recovery you are using?
TWRP or CWM
4. where are you putting the rom?
i put mine in /sdcard/Download/rom in here (sdcard is the internal sdcard)

Stuck at Mi Logo. Solutions here

If u facing problem stuck at mi logo after installing xposed framework or after rebooting.
Don't worry I have a solution. Download philz touch recovery and paste in root of your SD card. Go to your cwm recovery nothing others and wipe data, cache, dalvic cache. And go to install zip from SD card > apply SD card update.zip and reboot recovery. You are in philz touch recovery go to wipe section and click on clean to install a new ROM. Install u r ROM. After reboot your system. Back in recovery and go to wipe section find there " format data and data/media" reboot u r system now. Install xposed and anything do you want. Happy flashing. Thank you.
