Greetings,
I rooted my phone successfully and decided to try mike1986's ROM.
Then it got stuck at recovery (TWRP Recovery 2.7.0.2)
And now it says "RUU", without any other options.
Is there hope ?
Seems like you may have booted in ruu mode. Hold power button for a bit, phone should reboot normally

Thanks!
How do I get it back to normal. It just takes me back to "fastboot" and "Hboot"
And it doesn't let me run "recovery"
There should be a reboot option in those menus
What happens when you select it?

it doesn't come with a "custom recovery (like CWM or TWRP" by default, the only recovery is to factory reset
for that you'd have to root (And possibly S-Off) your phone.

that is not a custom recovery that is stock recovery where it just gives the phone a factory reset. you can root your phone with rumrunner with that hboot! after that you can install a recovery!
Thanks man. But I can't find any option for update from sdcard? Do I have to install custom recovery to apply update from sdcard.

on the M7, the "SDcard" refers to the internal storage that's mounted at "/sdcard"

Hboot doesnt know that, so it cant mount it. its looking for an external sdcard. when it returns as no then it skips.
fastboot erase cache
I attempted to install a stock recovery, and ended up with no recovery. Now when I try to enter recovery, I get the screen shown on the picture. I could use some help please.

Is there any way that i can boot twrp without pc? I have heard that pressing some buttons moves u to twrp but it ends with red triangle android logo
It should work with VOL_DOWN+POWER till LG logo apears and then release POWER (without releasing VOL_DOWN) and press and hold it again till TWRP boots.

Okay. There is an option 'recovery' in quick reboot apps. But are you sure that it will directly boot to twrp or phone itself recovery software?

With hardware button.. do it like this . cause sometimes you get bootloop or wont boot..
phone off
press vol down keep it press all the time dont let go.
press power button, let go.... then after 2 seconds or less press power button again when LG logo.. it should take you there too.. sometimes it takes a few tries.. just make sure buttons are pressed..
Yes, the Quick Boot app from the Play Store is the easiest and most awesome way to go to TWRP, always has been!
Once installed, just select Recovery from the menu choices, and 3 seconds later you will be in TWRP
but he should know how to enter with button combination.. i disable some g services and got bootloop.. so i need it to reflash or restore nandroid...
Stupid question but now I've rooted and installed TWRP how do I get to it to make a backup of my phone? I've downloaded the official app but not getting any options?? I figured that when you restarted the phone it give you an option to boot into TWRP but it just restarts..

Hook phone up to PC, type "adb reboot recovery." Or hold power + vol down and wait until in bootloader and use volume keys to select recovery then power to select recovery.

I use an app called Advance Power Menu. This will replace your standard reboot menu with options for recovery, bootloader, Power off or Reboot.

Must get into "download mode" to kdz back to stock. Keep trying to get into "download mode" using vol. Up and good usb-c cable plugged into usb2 port running win10. May need to put phone in Ziploc freezer bag and in freezer to power phone completely off before getting into download mode
If you have access to TWRP flip over to command prompt (I think it's in advanced or settings) and see if you can use ADB commands to reboot into bootloader.
'adb reboot bootloader'
I've been in this exact situation before. H933

Press and hold vol down + power button. When the screen turns off quickly hold vol up and plug in the phone.
May require 2 people to do it in time.
