I attempted to install a stock recovery, and ended up with no recovery. Now when I try to enter recovery, I get the screen shown on the picture. I could use some help please.

My EVO is running 2.2 and rooted (quickboot works and I have superuser)
I download a ROM with Rom Manager, I tell it to backup and wipe. then boot.
the EVO come up with 4 options: Bootloader, reboot, reboot bootloader, power down.
and just sit there, NOW WHAT!!!
(a power down and then back on returns me to what i had before.)
You're in the bootloader screen. It's white, click on bootloader and it should take u a screen that says recovery, fastboot etc. You can do a nandroid backup manually and install the rom manually as well...which i recommend to do because clockworkmod is known to not wipe properly. And u posted in the wrong section

thanks for replying.
hitting the power button on bootloaded will return me to the same four options
That's only happened to me when I had a ROM that didn't load. From the white screen click the "recovery" option and try to load your ROM from there.
thanks for help.
When I do a Volume/power on and hit power at recovery my options are Bootloader, reboot, reboot bootloader, power down

If I'm not mistaken I think its doing that because the recovery was not flashed correctly. Try going back to "Rom Manager" and choose the "Flash Recovery" option and then try to load your rom. That same issue happened to me and that solved the problem.
Thanks for replying.
that did it > Fixed
thanks again
Thanks that solved it, thanks again.
Hi, I've just successfully rooted my P600. I'm now trying to flash TWRP using the same version of ODIN (3.09). It tells me it is successful, but I am unable to enter recovery.
I've tried holding Vol UP+Power and it just keeps rebooting and showing the initial Samsung Note 2014 edition splash screen.

Hit Power+Vol Up and release it once you see the tablet turned on. If you keep holding the combo, it keeps rebooting

I tried that, and it just reboots again. Its almost as if it hasnt installed TWRP properly.
But ODIN tells me it succeeded.

The 2.6.3.1 is known to have issues. Please try 2.6.3.0

Greetings,
I rooted my phone successfully and decided to try mike1986's ROM.
Then it got stuck at recovery (TWRP Recovery 2.7.0.2)
And now it says "RUU", without any other options.
Is there hope ?
Seems like you may have booted in ruu mode. Hold power button for a bit, phone should reboot normally

Thanks!
How do I get it back to normal. It just takes me back to "fastboot" and "Hboot"
And it doesn't let me run "recovery"
There should be a reboot option in those menus
What happens when you select it?

How do I get back to a stock Recovery. I have tried using the now Closed Stock Recovery thread. However two options which both started 1.54.## but now when I try to enter recovery I get the red triangle. I read about Philz stock recovery should I go for this instead?
Any help would really be appreciated.

Oh. I know the bootloader has its menu that's how I get into the recovery. So stock recovery just shows the red triangle?

Yes, the stock recovery shows red triangle.
If you want the menu, press vol-up, power (I think), its hidden, because you're not really supposed to play with it.

Feel pretty dumb! Sorry. I tried to restore my original backup but it kept failing. So the ota should install?
There are actually lots of "returning to stock" and "installing OTA if rooted" threads around.
You may need to install some default apps that are removed when you unlock the boot loader.
You could try installing the OTA though...

Read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/recovery-t3140233 you need to get into to recovery and wipe data/factory reset and cache then reboot and wait for it to boot up, it does take a while.

This is how I do it. Press the Home Button, and the Volume Up & Volume Down Buttons (To do this press down on the volume rocker in the middle ) & the Power Key all at the same time. When the screen goes blank, still keeping the other buttons pressed, slide your finger that's on the volume rocker to the volume up position. You should then enter the Recovery Screen where you can restore to factory settings and wipe certain partitions.
Good Luck.
