I have P6 from T-Mobile with 102 Firmware version.
Can i upgrade to B111 Official Firmware without losing warranty?
I know that Official firmware will remove T-Mobile crap, and that's what i want.
And how should i update firmware, force through recovery or through Settings?

Call your operator(T-mobile)and ask.This is the only clear way.

I chat with them throught Chat Service and they confirm me that i will NOT lose warranty if flash Official firmware from Huawei.
And i saved that conversation
So i'm askink what method should i use to flash?
Flash it from settings (Normal Method)
Or Flash it from recovery (Force Method)?
I weas thinking to flash it with force method because it's T-Mobile modified firmware on it now,
and it maybe wont flash it from settings because of that.

It will flash just fine. Mine was taken from T-Mobile and I flashed all versions till B122 with normal method.

Is B122 Latest Stable version?

B122 is a leaked version. Last official is B111. I use B122 without any problems and I thinks it is a better than B111.

I'm confused now. Here on xda i see that there is B118, B119, and B122 versions to download.
That is probably lekaed versions. Correct me if i'm wrong.
And is this versions International?
I found B111 on Huawei international site, this should be International version
B117 i found on Chinese Huawei site to download,
so probably this is stable versions. Correct me if i'm wrong.
Does this Chinese versions have English language in ROM?

B111 is official international version. While B118, 119, 122 are leaked international versions.
Chinese firmwares on the other hand got no google apps and it got some Chinese apps. Don't use B117, its 2 months older and some users have got their phone screwed up cause of it. Chinese got new one recently and i believe an official new international would be out too.

I think i'll try leaked B122 version. I see that everyone use it and there is no problems.

The last update for HAP6 is firmware B119 and not B122 ! You can take a look here !
Also chinese version does not include multilanguage ( but English is included ! )
Right now I'm on B104 and after I checked online update , I found B112 OTA update !

I doubt B119 is latest. Because someone mentioned that when checking the last edited date of file, the B119 is one month older to B122. I have also read some people who used both say they prefer B122. But difference would be barely noticeable i guess.
And B112 is similar to B111. Just that certain countries got it as OTA update. And UK users even got a B116 as an OTA update.
But anyway it terms of performance and stability as for now, then B119 and B122 are the choices. Now just gotta wait for reviews of the new Chinese B118 and maybe a new official international version.

B118, B119 and B122 are leaked international version. B117 is ROM for China and it don't have a Gapps. Try B119 or B122 you can not go wrong.

Safe ROM evolution path

Many of us love to install and test new ROMs on our devices. One of the things that I have suffered the most is how to know if my current ROM can be upgraded to a different one.

From
LightningKat RC02 to HYD52ROM V7 I had to flash stock B104 before installing HYD52ROM. The reason was that without this the ROM was not correctly rooted.
From B120 to PAC-Man I bricked my phone twice. To make it work I had to:
1) flash TWRP 3.1 into recovery with fastboot
2) use TWRP to wipe every filesystem/partition except external storage (wipe verified within an adb shell session using #df, every partition was completely empty)
3) use TWRP to flash the PAC-Man zip
Please shear from wich ROM you have successfully migrated.

the basic rule is when you want to go back to stock rom,
make sure you have flash the stock recovery back to its place before you flash the stock rom ..

the B120 (international) you mentioned, is only for chinese models wright?
because i'm on CyanogenMod 10.1, and there is nothing wrong with it. absolutly not
but just wanna try something else, and i'm just a few weeks at the android/huawei scene.

My mistake, B120 is Chinese version not International. And no, I have successfully installed B120 (Chinese) on a HW that was bought on México. The phone was bought on a retail store not bound to any operator. I would consider the phone to be "International HW"

Thank you, I have successfully installed B120 CN.

Sorry to say this, but if you were able to flash a CN-Rom on an internal phone, it doesn't say that every phone will be save if you upgrade from the same base ...
There are many little factors which are important.
At this point we CANT tell people there is a save way to flash CN-Roms on International Phones.

OK... Is there any way I could document my specific HW/SW model to help other people to determine if it is save to do the same on their phone?

Ok guys, I have in my hand a Huawei ascend P6-U06 the rom version is B103. All I want is to install kitkat, but I'm not sure, all custom roms said that Imust be on Kitkat based rom first, so I must install a stock kitkat? I read that official kitkat fot P6-U06 is not ready. So, where can i start?

The custom roms want the stock b506 firmware its chinese not international but it has english after u have b506 u can using adb commands install twrp and whit twrp a custom rom here is link for b506 and instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2702054

B510 is the newest one, not B506.

Ok, so I install that firmware, no problem is I have the P6-U06? and after that, unlock, flash twpr for kitkat and flash a rom. How about the 3G? It will work? (Im asking because I read that sometimes china has different 3G bands, so odont know if there will be some side effect using the chinesse rom)

B506 was what i used and worked well and you dont need to unlock the bootloader its already unlocked thats why you want b506. I dont know exactly how downgrading works never done it. I went trough hyd52rom v7 and v3 but i ended up flashing omni and still using it and 3g works for me (I live in Finland).

thanks a lot, i was downloading the international firmware haha, I will put that download (B506) today, my internet is so slow. I will do it friday on night better with patience (because the work, I want to do this slow with patience ) thanks a lot again

[Q] From OMNI 4.4.4 Rom to MIUI V5 - Huawei Ascend P6

Hi!
I want to install this rom on my Huawei Ascend P6. Now i have installed OMNI Rom 4.4.4. Soo i must have a B508 official firmware, but i dont know how to install, because i dont know how to use dload (i hope that you understand what i mean).
The next question is what is the MIUI Patchrom Project and how to use it ?
When i install the B508 i just flash MIUI V5 with TWRP recovery ?

Don't need to go under B508 your bootloader is already unlocked with OmniRom and you are already under kitkat too don't forget to fullwipe before flashing Miui. You can install it with TWRP.
If you want to follow the instruction: install Official KitKat firmware (like B513 through twrp) then official Kitkat recovery with adb then B508 through dload method. Then install CWM and follow the instructions
Miui patchroom project is the way to port miui. How to use it : Don't know try to search a tuto on en.miui.com or google

I have an LG G3 D85520E version with stock Android - 5.0 Lollipop.AS NEW in rooting process I have spent hole day searching in XDA other forums and googling for specific steps , tools and links how root a stock Android - 5.0 Lollipop with no results.So many tools so many options i am so confused and the last thing i want is a non working phone.In threads i saw people asking same questions how to do this and that assuming i am not the only with such questions .SO is there a specific guide (or better a youtube video)how root a Stock Android - 5.0 Lollipop in a never rooted LG G3?Thanks in advance.

downgrade to Kitkat. Root with purple drake (whatever name it's called, can be found in android developer section). install TWRP and then Install Lollipop rom via Flashable zip
