September 10 update it says. So it does seem to be the latest. But probably they keep trying to get a stable complete one on Chinese and then only bring to International. One of the users here did use the B115 version and complained about it. But not sure if she tried the SP02 or the SP04 latest one.
Also the new ROM for P6 might only come after the one for ascend p1 is released as they are busy with the last stages of releasing the new ROM for P1.

I tried and it ended up with big FAIL

The SP04 version is categorized as "Mobile channels" while other versions were categorized as "shipping versions". There seems to be three different versions of P6 :
P6 Telecom Edition,
P6 mobile version,
P6 Unicom version.

yeah i know .. i using unicom chinese version .. but now looks like Android 4.2 Jelly Bean B112 released as official so am flashing now and gonna test it ..

[Q] my new ascend p6

hello everyone,
i recently purchased this cute phone ascend p6 its nice good design and usage but i found some issues as follows...
-how to remove vibrations on unlocking the screen?
-facebook sync contacts not working...
-volume and music volum are not that good during highest level
-wifi drops even on standby... ( wifi suddenly drops 10-15sec. den it will comeback again.same rotation even on active or screen off standby)
-firmware, i tried to check the latest firmware....
(settings>about phone>software update>online update ) and it said new version is available b118 via 9/27/2013
is it safe to download that b118? coz my current version is b107 since i bought it week ago,
and would this update fix my issues,and updating from 107-b118 via same method (settings>about phone>software update>online update) is safe? coz im afraid it would make bigger problems and issues,or might break the phone..... im a long tme user of sony xperia's and galaxy s3 and s4 i update easly with same way just wana ask if huawei ascend p6 has the same way too... tnx...

B118 is Chinese version of the firmware. My suggestion is to try B125. It is the international version of firmware and there lot of your issues are fixed.

but sir.... i checked the method as i mentioned above, only b118 is availble coming...
its same way how i used to update before my sony and samsung phones.
settings>about phone>software update>online
is it good way too to my new ascend p6?

First, there is B118 CN version and B118 International version, and yes it is safe to update your phone if you have OTA update.
Second, you can download latest leaked B125 and update your phone via local update (search the forums how to do that).
All your problems are old firmware related.
IMPORTANT. Just don't update CHINESE firmwares like B118CN because you will have big chances to brick your phone.

The option to disable unlock vibration is not available as of yet. It will be available on EMUI 2.0 update coming end of January.

its the international version, chinese one is ...C17B118 instead of C00B118

Yes OTA update is possible. The one coming through OTA would be specific to your region and not all regions get it. You can update yours that way or alternatively download the leaked B125 and do a local update.
The B118 your getting is international version (not chinese) and this was available as leak a month ago. The B125 leak is a more newer firmware.

in 8hours of updating and with my fast internet only this p6 working just to finish its update but waaaaaaahhhh

Yes and No. It depends.

locked P6 root
if yours locked try to get root with kingoroot program ,you can easliy find it Google search,after root ,install cwm and flash gapps 4.4.2,remember when reboot your phone is fix the root,and you can root again same way

This guide is using the older twrp rather than the newer TWRP built for kitkat.

It doesnt matter what version of TWRP this guide is using, the fact is IT IS SURE WAY TO FLASH B014 ON AN INTERNATIONAL ASCEND P6.
Stick to the guide to avoid bricking your phone.

Can u do dload Update from Intrenational firmware to the Chinese one without unlock bootloader?

Yes u must be on B125 International and yes u can flash the modified Chinese firmware alongside the files by Team Fly.
I installed Kitkat yesterday with this method i didnt encounter any problems(excepting a bunch of apps closing when u first start your phone but once u start them for the second time they work without any issue).
From what i could tell from reading several pages of posts on the German forum, not even a single phone was bricked.
But i must warn u, the beta version of Kitkat isnt worth it:
1. It lacks immersive mode
2. It still uses Dalvik instead of ART
If u are going to update you are updating purely for Emui 2.3

I've downloaded all of the files but I couldn't install it throw the instruction.
when I wanted to install the twrp nothing happened.
It says Err2 flash or something like this.
My android is 4.2.2 and the bulid number is p6-u06v100r001c00b118
my Emtion UI version is 1.6.
how do I have to update my android ?

First of all you are on B118. You need to be on B125 to flash kitkat.

You can only install twrp over unlocked firmware. So first you have to update to Kitkat beta (which is an unlocked firmware) the normal way through settings> local update,

[Q] Roms for Ascend P6-u06

Hi! i would like to know if there's any safe way to know which rom and process fits my Ascend P6-u06 without broken it, block local bands or end up with everything in Chinese? i'm from Costa Rica and i bought the phone here. I'll appreciate any help!!!! pls!!!!
Also what are the best roms for this smartphone....

Chinese firmwares B116 to B120, have a bricking problems. International versions work fine.
Dont know if your B103 rom is region modified. But latest international firmware and best stable one is B125. You can get download link from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2566453
There are custom roms and beta KK. But better to first get a hang of B125.

No, since it doesn't have any band block. My fear is to install (for example) B125 and end up with my phone bricked or in chinese. I saw they have available the firmeware in their website, so if something goes wrong i can roll it back to factory software? or there's any possibility of end up with a bricked phone?
i'm thinking on upgrade it to B125 and after that, install HYD52ROM V7
PS: my knowledge about this is not to good yet, that's why I'm so insecure about it
By the way the common bands used by the phones and modems here are HSPA/UMTS 850/2100Mhz Edge/GPRS/GSM 850/900/1800/1900Mhz

International firmware versions are safe. No worries.
To install custom roms you would have to read up on installing custom recoveries and so on.
But anyway go for B125 for now. Its easy and safe :good: We might see an official Kitkat update soon. :good:

CN118 to start with....
Got this amazing phone from Claro CR, so far I have installed CN118 Chinese version and TWRP recovery.
I had flash LightningKat and HYD52ROM for testing, both real nice and stable, currently running LightningKat KK version and waiting for stable version of CM11 to try on.
This is an amazing piece of device, in order to avoid bricks, just read read and read before try.

[Q] Ascend P6 B132 and B127 firmware

Hi everyone.
Just want to ask, what is the latest firmware? Recently a German website posted a leak of un-official B132 firmware last March 18, 2014 and the official Huawei China website with a B127 firmware last March 24, 2014. I am bit confused what is the latest among the two firmwares.

b127 is only for china without google.. i think
b132 international Firmware.

Sorry for the consusion. My bad. The B127 is the firmware update for P6S.

I try update my phone from b125 to B132 and everything works good and smooth,
the new things in new update is Huawei cloud..

P6S has different chip from P6. You cant use the P6 rom.
The P6S was not released internationally. So international rom might not exist. You will have to use check the Chinese latest roms (they have english language anyway).

The Chinese firmware is quite frustrating when you are used to the features of Google

Unlikely there will be a international version.
Have you tried installing google playstore app using an apk file ? If that works then you should be able to use all gapps. Otherwise you might have to root i guess.

I have not tried that yet, will attempt that later.
