Are you on stock rom? and stock kernel?
Because me what i did, i downloaded kies 3,
i go on kies 3, > tool > emergency firmware upgrade and intialisation
i enter my phone model : SGH-I747
after they asked me my S/N (that you can found under your phone under the battery)
after they ask you to put your phone into download mode (turn off your phone hold power + volume down + home button at the same time then when you are going to see a warning just press volum up to continue)
And kies will unoot and restaure the stock android os non rooted (4.3)
And Voilà! just have to wait till its done
WATCH OUT, THIS WILL EREASE ALL YOUR DATA ON YOUR PHONE SO DO A BACKUP
THIS WILL ALSO FLASH THE NEW BOOTLOADER THAT YOU CANT DOWNGRADE AFTER! IT WILL FLASH THE NEW SAMSUNG SECURITY KNOX.

So..I had stock before 4.3. Then I did the OTA to 4.3. Then I rooted and installed CM10.2. Can I still use billard412's method? Because the first line of his text says: IF YOU HAVE TAKEN THE OTA TO STOCK TW 4.3 DO NOT USE THIS!! IT WILL CAUSE A HARD BRICK!!

Thanks to all! I got it back to stock and then upgraded to 4.3. Now time to root 4.3!!

do it on KIES 3
Dont mind about if Kies dosent reconise your phone. After clicking on tool and emergency firmware upgrade and initialisation it will ask your phone model (as i said) after your S/N and they will ask to put your phone into download mode so do it and you will see that Kies will reset your phone back to stock

Hello,
Thank you in advance who ever reply to this.
Problem is i updated my device to 4.2.2 recently with odin. Before doing that I made a (nand) backup of my 4.1.2 stock rom.
As most people having problems with 4.2.2. my phones heats up and battery draining quickly 3 hours and its 10% which is very bad.
When I try to restore 4.1.2 nand , My phone gets stuck on "Samgung Galaxy grand i9082" logo and nothing happens. I restored 4.2.2 backup and its working fine.
I assume its kernal problem. Can i restore kernal to 4.1.2 with odin? I do have stock firmware downloaded already.
Thank you!

Thank you for your reply.
It means that there is no way to go back to 4.1.2
I was thinking if i could:
1. Flash 4.1.2 stock firmware which will return me 4.1.2 stock kernal. (with odin).:fingers-crossed:
2. Once i am on 4.1.2 kernal i restore my nand and get back to my stock rooted rom.
Any ideas?
EDIT:
I tried it and end up in boot loop. I have no idea of which firmware my phone had. because i purchased it online and was shipped from Hong Kong. Manufactured in veitnam . I tried Veitnam firmware , Malaysian and now i will try india, pakistan, KSA respectively. This thread is not that active.
Anyone whos reading if you have any suggestions please try to help me.

[Q] Help needed GT 9505 turned SGH M919 TMob

My phone is a i9505, rooted and with latest Philz recovery. I flashed [ ROM ][AROMA][4.4] KitKat KangBang v1.0.3 [Nov, 13 2013] from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2524837.
Now i have this problem: i lost root, i can't reboot in recovery mode and my phone is now turned from the international version (9505) into TMobile US version SGH M919 so i can't downgrade or upgrade anymore.
Tried to reflash Philz by odin but nothing changed: everytime i try to enter recovery mode the phone keeps booting KitKat KangBang v1.0.3 (almost perfectly working).
What have i to do? Flash original firmware by Odin, then root and mod recovery?
Is so what kind of original firmware should be used? International 9505 or TMobile M919 one?
I'm scared to brick my device and i'd like to have it back to 9505.
Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

If you can access Download mode (Odin Mode) then you have no problems. If you're too scared to try out flashing back to original, let Kies do it for you. Install Kies and choose "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization". It will ask you for a specific Model number, You should write GT-I9505 and then it will ask you for the serial number, and then it would ask you to switch to download mode and it would download the latest stock rom for your device and flash it.

King regards!
This is very simple if you want it to be. Flash using the instructions at the link then do a factory wipe from stock recovery, flash again to stock and do another factory wipe.
For the flash to stock, just head over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2267895
Follow the instructions and that will re-flash T-Mobile stock everything.

Installation & root method with CF-Root by @SkyboneNoya
Update:
If you already have a custom recovery installed :
Make a recovery backup of your current rom
(to restore to after you get a custom recovery installed and save it to your computer as well as backing up all SD cards... It’s just a good practice.)
If coming from any other ROM than stock 4.1.2 :
Install 4.1.2 update with odin via SamMobile.com
Clear data/cache/dalvik in recovery (or hang on the Samsung logo for the night).
Upgrade to 4.3 OTA or via Odin
Hint : Use provided links to your carriers images above!
Root method
Go to [SGH-I747/M] CF-Auto-Root|
Follow the steps on post 2 in that thread.
Once rebooted: open up SuperSU, click OK then normal and reboot.
I used the KNOX uninstaller and when trying to restore back to stock I had google apps issue warning locking me out of the system. So use at your own discretion.
You should be good to go.
The rest is pretty easy.
Also, you might have trouble installing custom roms at this point. I747MVLUEMK5 is probably not listed in the installers yet. That's a whole other story.
Other options here as well if the above didn’t work for you. |Guide|How-To| Root & Install Custom Recovery for 4.3 Update |22 Nov 2013|
To enable USB debugging through Developer Options, go in System Settings/About and click on build number about 7 times. (old google trick if you didn’t know)

Just completed the update. So far, so good.
Some minor (but nice) visual enhancements, speed is at least as good as before, nothing to complain about but nothing groundbreaking (but nobody was expecting that from 4.3).
Can't post a screeshot right now but baseband is mk5 and kernel is 3.0.31-2140838
I updated with kies and I'm with Rogers.
I haven't done a factory reset (like I usually do after a major update) but the responsiveness of my phone makes me believe it may not be necessary. Time will tell.

If you're going the factory image way using of the above links, you'll need to use either Odin or Mobile Odin.

Hi, I am running my s3 i747m fido on Quantum Rom V3 RC3 kitkat 4.4. I was wondering can i flash the Fido baseband using recovery. (I have Clockwork Mod for my recovery screen). Or do I need to go back to stock to do this first?

what if I use only clockworkmod to flash it? Will it brick my phone ?

The files on sammobile are full firmware files, which include bootloader, modem etc. You can use kies or odin to flash them but i don't think you can through cwm.
I'd use the Rogers firmware if it was me, but I can't be sure.

[Q] Note II Freezes and can't install any rom

I upgraded my GT-N7100 from 4.1.2 to 4.4.2 stock rom, had the "unregistered to network problem", so I rooted the phone, Installed custom recovery, then flashed many modems but all didnt work, so I decided to go back to 4.1.2, but it didnt work, got "FAIL" on odin, and "sw rev. invalid magic string" written on my phone.
I flashed the 4.4.2 again, however, this time the mobile freezes after 30 seconds after pressing the power button, tried to flash different stock 4.4.2 roms, but it keeps freezing. I cant downgrade my phone back to 4.1.2 due to the KNOX bootloader.
Is there any solution to go back to 4.1.2, by disabling the KNOX ?
