I don't know if it's the right name but in italian version is called serie a list of days or months etc...
I need to reduce to a specific number the elements of the list, for example not all 12 months but only 6, with current month ever visible. Is it possible?

Well, i just bought a htc s620 / excalibur yesterday. (i think, i'm going to receive it within this week, maybe).
I still got two questions :
1. is there a nameable difference between the official wm6 (offered from thc, already upgraded on the one i bought) ad wm 6.1 (except, that wm6.1 now has the home-panel?) - so, is there a NEED to upgrade to wm6.1?
and:
2. how can i create themes for this one? can i simply create wm6-qvga-landscape-themes for windows mobile ppc (using theme maker x) or is there any better program out, which supports qvga smartphones? or does the theme-style (sp-qvga / ppc-qvga) even matter anyway?

To answer the first question, i would upgrade to the new 6.1, its really awesome. Also, it includes many nice features like threaded texting, etc. And regarding the second question, i never really tried creating themes because the new 6.1 is loaded with nice themes.
ppc themes as far as I know won't work with a landscape device..they either won't load or will come out distorted...a good program with a lot of custom landscape themes is Facade from SBSH...they have a trial (14 day i believe) and a pay version (not too expensive) and before I upgraded to 6.1 I use to use it a lot...it'll work with 6.1.
Yep - you will definitely want to upgrade to the WM6.1 ROM. No matter what cooked ROM you use, the basic improvements to 6.1 over 6 are numerous with things like PIE copy & paste and zoom in and out and customizable home page. I personally don't use the sliding panel home screen but many love it.

Oh yah the copy and paste feature is awesome
well, i will keep thinking of a possible upgrade to 6.1 (but, i think, i will keep the pre-installed WM6, because it is shipped in german, and i already have an english x50v with 6.1, and as it's a smartphone, i'd like to keep it my native language).
And as for themes : is the theming still divided in color-theme and bakground-image (which can be put sinlge in as well to any existing theme, as it was in SP2003SE) - i was using a voq professional for now.
if that's the way, SP-Themes work, i may "only" have to create qvga-landscape-images and that's all.
but only, if i can still edit the internal colors / colorsheme with V2R home screen editor. (i think, it's nearly the same app, as homeEdit is, which i used for theming on the voq.).
And as i also have the mentionned Dell Axim x50v (mostly always near me, as i use it as mp3-player), i have a pda, with which i go online, if there's a free spot around. So there may be no real need to go online whith this SP, so I may use it only the way it is - as a phone, for appointments/reminders and a few games.
Hey buys, i have just got an HTC Mogul, and have spent more time messing around with it then my computer (which in itself is a miracle!!!), and have updated to 6.1 TiTan from 6.0, and tried SO many programs, iClone, iPhonz, M2D, M3D beta, home replacement (forgot the name already.) And about 100 other programs and narrowed down now the following programs that i like and am satisfied to using below. Problem is, M2D CONSTANTLY has the 'Restart TouchFLO' with almost every program i run after exiting, even when using phone sometime's, and read a bunch on the alternate ROM, and also about the Kitchen ROM, but don't know enough yet to FULLY understand, and need some users that have some experience with this under their belt.
I basically am just using some basic stuff, and would LOVE to replace my ROM with one that already had M2D build in. I am ASSUMING that by doing this i gain the following most important functions.
1) Free up a bit more memory. Currently i am at around 11-12MB Free, and when using the replacement ROM or Kitchen it's reported at about 25-28MB Free.
2) Since M2D would be part of the ROM, it would RID the problem of M2D constantly having to reload since it would be part of the background ROM itself, and also since A LOT more free space is available to not have to auto-close everything when you are loading any programs.
Programs i narrowed down to using now After trial and error and removed everything now but these-

Based on using the above programs (granted taking out the non-rom related ones like emu's and workout stuff.), what would be my best option of ROM to grab and install/replace that would give me best available free space and most stable M2D that won't restart every time i load up contact's OR Opera????
And thanks for helping me out with this.
Hi djdafreund

I'm new at ROM-flashing; and I'm smitten! The performance improvement, versus my old WM5 with Orange bloatware, is astonishing.
All the "stripped" (OEM) ROM's I've found so far are US-spec; I've used an AT&T OEM ROM as a starter for ten.
However what I really want is a base ROM which:
1) maps to my UK-spec QWERTY keyboard (for punctuation & symbols);
2) shows calendar date in UK format dd/mm/yy.
3) won't conflict with the lovely WM6.5 ROMs I'm seeing and wanting to try
I've not found any candidate ROM's in my searches so far - I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
Many thanks!
You can use shaps advanced config to configure the keyboard (on any rom)
Then use regional settings to set the date/currency/etc to fit your needs.
You chould be able to use any rom you wish (as long as it is for the hermes haha).
UK specific ROMs
That's true to an extent, but what seems to happen is that some ROMs (even by the same chef), vary in their ability to look British. It seems that most of the 6.5 ROMs just don't have the ability to show 24 hour clock and British date format on the Today screen, even when you set them in the Regional Settings, but others do. DarkVisions 5 does, but some versions of TAI's latest 6.5 don't (and its Connection Wizard doesn't cover some of the smaller carriers for the UK e.g. ASDAmobile, Virgin etc.) That's not a criticism of those chefs, just an observation about the base 6.5 being used, I hasten to add. I can recommend DarkVisions - it has the correct keyboard layout straight off, the connection wizard covers all the UK carriers and the date and time can be changed to UK format on the Today screen. Give it a try.
I'm in the UK and this isn't something I've ever considered. I flash first with an at&t stripped rom, and then with whatever rom I'm trying, (currently +Que's B3), and I've always been able to set to dd/mm/yy HH:mm:ss within windows, and change the keyboard with Advanced Config.
I do agree about the connection wizard though. I'm on Blyk and have only found one rom on my HTC Wizard which had the settings.
I haven't tried Darkvisions rom though.
well i have NEVER had a problem setting 24hr time , date , keyboard or anything else with any rom i have tried and i have tried a LOT of them, to set 24hr time in regional settings set it in the time tab as HH:MM:SS thats all you need. If its set as H:MM:SS then it will display as a twelve hour clock
Folks - thanks for the speedy and informative replies.
I've taken your advice: flashed Dark Visions 5.13 on top of the AT&T OEM ROM; configured regional settings; and my queries have all been answered.
So - a big thanks for your advice on this!
hello guys and gals.
I was wondering, for those of you versed in the stock wm 6.1 tf3d rom, if there is a way to increase the number of days worth of appointments that are displayed from 2 to any number higher... say like 7?
Me too I would like to see a few more days ahead.
I scanned the registry for appointment settings. Found [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\State\Appointments] but nothing bout the number of days.
EDit: Nevermind. This Thread is of course the place to be
@ cirrob: Homescreen HD works well for me.
While looking in the /windows directory of my phone i noticed a file for user profiles. This got me thinking that it may be possible to create users on a winmo device and switch them on the fly. This could prove useful for use with something like the redfly system to set a ui up for that and a ui for normal phone use so the phone becomes not only a phone but your netbook as well - with ui's tailored to the different uses. Could this be done?

Was thinking this might be possible with second today and a few mortscripts but st is showing its age and more and more phones are not compatible. any ideas?
Windows Mobile does not support users. There is only one user, which represents current environment, we can not change this.
Thank you for your reply.
Guess im stuck using second today.
