Hi guys,
Wow has it been a busy week. Closing went flawlessly (only 45 minutes of signing Documents before we were all done). The problems have been with all of the scheduled deliveries and the movers. We're getting there though.
I hate to say it but I have to move dates back 1 week. I don't want to rush a release and since I've been off-line for almost a week I want to take some time to go through the additional fixes (like the update to WiFi bubble fix) that have popped-up while I've been out.
If you guys want to help me by posting these new fixes here I'd appreciate it.

Welcome back, great to hear the closing was smooth. Deliveries, moving, and movers is always crazy. Hopefully I won't have to do it again.
Take you're time kyphur, we'll be here when you're ready.

appreciate, I'm grateful for it.
SMSproviders.dll for VM notifications
This fix only affected a small number of us (Orange UK) and Fido.Ca (?)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1183094&postcount=16
I'm not sure about the impact of installing the dll on other networks...
Optional!
Also have you seen the new lvsw rom, seems to be the newest os version around....
Good things need time, so don't hurry
Now as there is a way to get the SIP Client working (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299950). Is there a chance that you use it in version 0.3?
A few things from the last week....
There may be a volume problem in some of these builds
The white screen/bad block issues (which I am sure you have seen) ... and which I am not sure have been resolved .. olipro could better educate you about that
LVSW built from a newer WM6 ROM (and jasjamming noted that his next release is from a non-beta release of WM6)
Some hints as to features in non-beta WM6
Welcome back, kyphur
Welcome back Kyphur, Glad to hear that all is going ok with the move.
Just a few things that i have picked up:
Many people having issues with the white screen issue and not being able to fix it. Some people having issue with downgrading from different roms.
Dont know why.... Not reading the guide????
And a note on 0.20v i have had very few issues.
Will there be the new offical Windows live mobile app as an opptional? not BETA???
Just sitting tight and waiting for the release....
Welcome back Kyphur.
Last time I moved, Internet access was a CF.
Had to settle for ISDN at first (no cable or DSL).
Good to see you're up and running.
Code on, dude!
P.S. Hope you got the donation ok.
Will this still have the lastest wm6 rom , as since 030 was pre released the WM rom has been updated.
I noticed WMXL Windows Live! Mobile Doesnt Work
Is this beta dead. Are you planning on adding in public version .30 I removed it and tryed to reinstall and if comes up unsuccessful every time i try.
This isn't a fix, but it is an issue I am running into...
You can read about it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1200400#post1200400
If you could figure out a fix for it that would be awesome...
Anybody can help me with WMXL ?
With both v 0.20 as well as with v0.30-Pre i have the same problem -
when i'm attached to the 3G/GPRS network for a long time the device becomes abnormally warm and battery goes away like hell !
Battery goes to zero in 2-3 hours !
Nothing helps.
Any advice ?

Do you have any apps installed, because I don't have that problem so its gotta be either a 3rd party app or hardware.

Which radio version are you using? I had this battery drain prob when I had radio 1.34 installed. Upgraded to 1.38 and now I get a whole day out of my "loaded" 8525 with pre v.30 XDA-Live. You might also check to ensure you're not pushing email 24 hr -- I have mine set to push it only during working hours with a 1 hour check in off peak times.
Hope that helps.

First step would be a HR and no apps. Try for a few hours using on PIE an poutlook. If no heat, then start by adding 1 app and try for a few more hours, etc........ I HIGHLY doubt it is the ROM.

Could be more to do with your radio ROM, do you have the Trinity GPS one installed by any chance?
Hey everyone,
I have tried doing this myself but its been years since I have written any code... and I have never done it for a ppc.
I would love to have a countdown timer and a stopwatch that has a today screen plugin. Similar to the old, outdated T-Day app, except it should go right down to the second or tenth of a second. SPB Time is a pretty good program, but this is one thing that is missing from EVERY clock app out there.
Just a suggestion, but I think it would be a great addition.
Thanks.
i'm poor bought a refurb 8525 from att for $129. have wanted one of these forever, wifey finally gave me permission and got one yesterday. looks brand new and seems to work great.
first thing i did was update to wm6 pro off of htc's website. everything worked fine and has the correct rom and now says wm 6 pro.
i thought one of the differences between 5 and 6 was the large icons on the main screen? the main screen looks just like wm 5. is there a way to go to the larger icons or is this just a diluted version of wm6?
tks for all help
You are probably talking about HTC Home. Is it the thing with the big digital clock and the icons underneath it? Use google to search this site for HTC Home Plugin. Download it, install the cab and viola.
get it from their website!!!
"500 - Internal Server Error"
Maybe too many people trying to MS 3

Final, 15 day trial, build 6411
The Spb site is really slow...
the bad news.......all the issues that I had before....are still there.
and SPB wonder why we were all so anxious to get our hands on the pre-release so we could test it and give them time to fix the bugs. It seems that they think they know what we want without actually asking us.
haven't experienced any bugs yet, although i fully tested it again.
spb wallpapers
what's about wallpapers for spb mobile shell????
SMS Issue
I have downoaded the trial and is great, really enjoy the way the interfaces works. The problem is when I recieve a text message all teh notifications work but if I try and open the message it won't let me. It gets as far as the in box and then will not go any further, only get to see the first line of the text. If I delete the text and do to deleted items I can then click on the message and it will open fully, alowing me to do whatever I want with it. I f I move it back to the inbox it again blocks me out. Anyone else suffering this?

The wallpapers included with MS3 are 960*748 - I guess, depending on your device, you can create a wallpaper with those dimensions and it should be fine. They can only be applied on the lifestyle homepage, but I am sure in time people will discover ways of having wallpaper for all screens.
How to change wallpaper??
wallpaer - and I love sbp mobile shell
bottom right hand side button on screen (grey), opens up menu at bottom, choose "change background"
I have to say I love this shell, I dispise titanium and TF3D, some love them but each to their own eh.
It even works with davideuk 6.5 rom, i love the use of widgets without having to install anothing else apart from this. It works well, very well in fact. Smooth, fast. Myspace contacts impletmentation works very well, no bugs found yet beyond, only problem is that there are too many ways to get into the same area, too many pages but you get used to it.. oh and if you go into the clock it does not appear to accept changes to date unless you come out and go throug the windows mobile settings page. I give it a 8/10
I have it on trial and will definately buy it when it has ended, it is important to support good developers.
Better and Lighter than touch flo
I insalled it (Trial for 15 days), its wonderfull and the Animation is very smooth that you can't imagine it !!! smoothness like iphone interface and very light and fast (consume less Ram than Touch FLO).
The features and gadgets are great, the weather integration is good but the Touch Flo weather provide Current weather status while this one gives you forecasting for (day, night, Morning).
Its not like touch Flo which is flash content added to the Today Screen as in ITEM ! this one is different and can go back and forth to the Today screen !!
I am now evaluating its stability and if there is no bugs , I will buy it after I finish the trial periods which is 15 days.
mine doesnt work so smooth, like an old Video Card \=
So far it works smoothly and without any problem, memory usage is good, for the battery I am not sure and still testing (IT might drain battery faster than Touch FLO).
I have one problem is I have to use Windows media as Touch FLO Music player is not a standalone program, for the windows media when I open it and play a song the memory usage goes up from 45% to 80% !!!!! very weird !!! I thing the SPB has installed some plugin for windows media and secrewed its memory management !!! when I close windows media memory usage return to normal !!!!
Any Help ?
Great app - small comment
I love it.
It's one of the best WinMo apps.
The only thing I don't like is the kinetic scroll.
I actually prefered those small paging arrows from version 2. They worked better for me, faster and more accurate.
Other than that - great stuff!
No issues so far. You can integrate SPB Weather 2 which offer a lot more info instead of the standard weather. I think the temp displayed is the current temp with that.
The media player stinks and I wish there was an integrated picture browser like TouchFlo. I even miss the stock page but can easily live without it.
I love having both the professional and lifestyle pages, and I love how the background scrolls back and forth on the lifestyle page. It took me about 5 minutes to customize it to a look that I really like.
Also, the scrolling is extremely smooth on my HD.

Many thanks
I like this a lot, it lacks the depth of functionality of TF3D, but hey since it can run with TF3D at the same time you can have best of both worlds.
(I did have to remove it from startup folder to get TouchFlo to start after a soft reset though).

How do you get to the startup folder?
It OK I just found it in Windows/Startup.. Thanks
I've been playing with it for the last week and I love it!
One problem though: it drains my battery faster than Touch FLO.
It's a V12! any tips for getting a bit more battery life out of it?
Thank you all!
Does anyone else have this issue with WM 6.5 TF 3D? When I use the music tab and go into the music library under artists, the list automatically scrolls down when I click on an artist. I have to stop it and swipe to get back up to the artist I clicked on. It's not a big deal, but it's annoying. Has anyone figured out how to stop this?
Yes, I noticed this, too. Don't know of a fix, though. Kind of annoying IMO.
PS - I'm guessing if you're running 6.5 on a Touch Pro 2, you're running Sense 2.1, or Sense 2.5... not TF3D (not trying to be the UI grammer police, it just helps to know for search purposes).
AT&T Tilt 2 was built with TF 3D
The AT&T version of the Touch Pro 2 was built with Touch Flo 3D and Windows Mobile 6.5 Other Touch Pro 2's on other carriers were issued with 6.1 and are in the process of being upgraded. Hopefully someone has a fix to this slightly annoying issue. Thanks!
For me, probably the single most annoying "glitch" after upgrading to 6.5. I guess, all things considered, that's not too bad.
I noticed it does the same thing in Genres too. Oh well. Could be worse.
I thought it was just me. . .
I posted this issue at PPCGeeks and someone said there was a fix in a thread with about 100 pages - read through them - couldn't find it. This may be a 'glitch' I hope it doesn't put me in a 'ditch' (trying to pick an artist while driving)
