Dear All!
I read some post regarding to Viber on CM9 (mic not working, video call not working...etc) but I have a different problem.
I can install it easily without any problems.
Also I can start it, no errors or anything.
I type in my phone number (the format and the number is correct) then the program asks for the activation code.
An incoming call appears and Viber instantly shuts down, it says it encountered an error and exits then automatically reopens and asks for the activation code that never arrives.
What can I do?
Thanks in advance!

my mob no is: 07743889117
my voicemail no is: 01234567891 (suppose)
i ve tried searching around on the forum and found 1 thread where this topic was discussed, however it was quite confusing.
my o2 XDA IIs used to divert calls to my voicemail only after 15 seconds, however i wanted to change this to 30 seconds and then came across a thread on the forum here.
i used a long command starting with: **61*077453889117....
(i ve forgotten the last few sequences of the command)
so neways, it did the trick, the timer was delayed to 30seconds, however here is the PROBLEM: when sum1 calls, it rings for 30seconds, and then it says: "ur call z being trasferred....ur call being transferred, THE NUMBER YOU HAVE CALLED IS NOT RECOGNISED"
any1 knows how 2 fix my problem n get the diverts to my voicemail up n running again?
if you are going to write the commands, can u plz use my above given numbers so that i know exactly what to do.
many thx
any1 at all?
Hi SenzAsian
I have had mixed success with using the codes. Don't have it to hand right now, but will try and find tonight. But a better plan is to just call tech support. They can just change it on the server side for you. I think 40 seconds is the max... Have you tried that?
Regards
Chris
If you do a search on Google for "gsm codes" then several pages are returned. Try one or more of these for advice if the command I give below is no good.
If you have an O2 XDA IIs I am assuming you are on the O2 UK network. The number after the **61* bit should be the number of the O2 voicemail service. Therefore, the command for a 30sec delay to divert to voicemail after not answering your phone is:
**61*+447802091901*30#
Then press the GREEN send button.
Hope this helps.
hey guys, thank u very much for ur input!
mvsmith, thx man, it worked! however, ur command was missing a * towards the end, so let me write down the proper command in case other users need to set their delay times:
Steps:
1. find ur voicemail number (not ur mob number)!
2. so suppose ur voicemail no is: +447743888888, then
3. on the xda fone scree, type in: **61*447743888888**30#
(the **30# at the end will set it to a 30seconds delay b4 it goes to ur voicemail)
4. click send/talk
5. wait for a few seconds
6. DONE!

Here are instructions to handle your first issue. I've tried it myself and it works.:

As for your second issue... I don't have that problem. Why is an SMS sent when you don't answer the phone? What does it contain? When I don't answer my phone, my phone just shows a missed call, unless a voice message was left.
The second problem might be related to the providers voicemail set up, at least with t-mobile you can set up such behaviour to get an (or many) SMS for missed call. Nothing to be done on artemis, this can be changed at the provider.

i've mananged the problem with sms ... mobile secretary was (epic fail)
but with youtube still working ..
I dial the #, press send and at same moment got kicked back to main main with error "call has been lost". Rooted EVO runing Calkulin ROM - this happened first time and never heard off such a thing. Anyone with same error ever ?
Are you actually dialing a number or pressing a contact to call? I had this happen before because I was using contacts clean-up and it formatted all my numbers to +1-xxx-xxx-xxxx and the + was the problem. Had to go in and erase the + from every contact.
I've received a voicemail (I have the reel-to-reel tape icon). If I do anything in an attempt to listen to the voicemail (including dialling 901 as suggested) then my phone attempts to make a call, which ends about one second later, then the display locks and I have to enter my PIN number again.
I'm happy just to turn Voicemail off, as it has stopped working, but I suspect this will involve dialling 901, and then I'm back to square 1.
Any suggestions, or do I just wait for the voicemail to expire?
I liked this phone for the first three weeks, but now, with the "Low memory" problem and now this, I've passed into the "hopefully someone will steal it" phase...
I suspect it that your wfs can't read the settings from the sim to find out the voicemail/anwser phone. Haven't tested it, will report back if I have a problem.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using the air.
That was it. GiffGaff uses 443 (GIF) instead of 901.
Their help said to enter *61*443# but that didn't seem to do anything. Voicemail still said 901.
So I went into the settings and changed the Voicemail number to 443. It still said 901.
So I rebooted the phone. Now it says 443 and Voicemail works.
I'm left wondering which of my two actions fixed the problem, and if it WASN'T *61*443# then I wonder what that did?
voicemail is in your service provider in sim, not included in phone only emails are compatible with wildfire s. just tell them to email you than this voicemail.
Can somebody offer a possible solution on this problem:
I upgraded my Xperia S to JB 6.2.B.1.96 using EMMA, and whilst the phone is otherwise working ok and running well, my call log is always empty.
I have tried restoring it using MyPhoneExplorer, with no success. I have also tried the menu button in the Call Log screen saying Hide/Show Call Log, with no change. When I hide it and then show it again, it says "call log is empty." However, something must be there, because when I hook my phone up to my PC using MyPhoneExplorer and refresh the call log on there, it shows calls that I've had today!
So why is it showing as empty on the phone? This is an important feature for me.
