I've seen several questions on it and people downloading an app to do it. No need because the Developer Options are still on the phone they just need turned on.
Step 1: Setting -> About Device
Step 2: Tap Build Number
Once done the Developer Options appears in the More Tab
I just learned about it the other day just messing around tapping on the tab where it shows the os build number where the jelly bean guy pops up after tapping I just started tapping the different lines on that page and walla.
More like seven tap build number lol

I've went through every setting I can think of but cant figure this out. Just got my Note today, and this was working until somehow I switched it off I guess. When I pull the pen out, it doesnt bring up the S Pen options anymore. It vibrates and makes the sound, but nothing comes up on the screen. If I go set it to open up an S Note when the pen is removed, it will work, but I somehow switched off where it will bring up the whole menu of options to choose from.
When I pull my pen out it defaults to the screen you are talking about. On that screen if you tap the settings menu, it takes you to a something called "page buddy". There are check marks in Page Buddy that make it default to opening certain screens when you remove the pen, insert headphones, and dock the phone.
Sounds like you may have turned page buddy off. Not sure where the settings for that are though...
go to main settings-display there should be a "page buddy" option. make sure it's on on the right side with the switch. then click on the name itself on the left and it will take you to it's options. make sure the s pen page is enabled and you are good to go. just remember this doesn't work in any app, just on the home screen

Wow, I would have never figured that out. Thank you very much, it worked!
I have tried going to build number and tapping on it, a "K" appears on the screen and then the screen turns red and says android 4.4.2

might want to check again where you're tapping. to get the spinning K to appear you're tapping on android version which is just an easter egg. to get dev mode tap on build number at the bottom of list.
remember android version i.e. 4.4.2
Build number KOT49H
SOLVED - DEVELOPER OPTIONS "7-tap" Not Working

Make sure you are on the PRIMARY profile on the tablet (it will be first one on the left when you go to log on). Tapping the build number while in the primary account will enable Developer Options option.
I have had this problem from the start on stock KitKat 4.4.2. Tapping Build Number hundreds of times would not bring up Developer Options (tapping Android Version will get you to the spinning K). After learning of "Developer Options" from the play store, I was finally able to get into the settings... kind of.
I am always using a secondary profile (not a restricted profile) instead of the main profile that I set up for my family on the tablet. When I opened the Developers Options app it did it's job and got me into the Developer Options, where I got an error saying "Developer Options are not available for this user."
So I switched to the first profile I created on the tablet and clicked Build Number 7x and I can now enable DO.
I'm sure someone has already discovered this (and credit to them) but I have not seen it posted anywhere on these forums, or on the Internet, after weeks of searching. I hope this helps some poor lost soul like me.
Please hit the Thanks button if this helped.

I just flashed the newest CM11 rom (4.4.3) and there is absolutely no option to delete a contact from the People app. It just shows no options what so ever. Can someone tell me what to do exactly? The only options I get are Contacts to Display, Import/Export, Accounts, Settings. None of which have an option to delete contacts either.
Have you tried long pressing?

It took me like 30 minutes to figure it out and the process is the dumbest thing I have ever seen.
So, you do the following.
People app > Long press the big letter next to a number > On this little popup press the picture of a person (its small and roundish on the right) > menu button > delete.
This is the craziest process I ever saw just to delete a phone number I no longer use.
Glad to hear its working

how to delete multiple contacts?
I bought a tabpro 12.2 to use in my office. It will be used for patients to register for events through our office website. The main problem I am running into is that the max amount of time before the tab shuts off is 30 minutes.
Problem 1: I need it to stay on indefinitely without going to black screen
Problem 2: Would like to know if you are able to use a customized screen saver. Such as a screen with a picture saying "Register Here" and then when they swipe it opens up to the page I want.
I tried searching the forum and online but can't find anything that is helpful. Sorry, I am a newbie at this so if I left out any information or if you need clarification please let me know.
I very much appreciate any help you can give!
For problem 1. Are you rooted? You could try Tasker and secure settings. That might do what you want.

There is an app called Wakey in the app store that will let you keep the screen on indefinitely. Install, Open, touch the light bulb. The screen stays on after you leave the app as long as you want. A notification in your status bar will remind you is in so you can go back and turn it off
You can tell the tablet not to sleep while charging by going to the developer options in settings. This menu is usually hidden by default so to enable it go to settings - about tablet and tapping on the build number 7 times. It should then have a message that developer options are enabled, you should see the developer options just above the about tablet in the list. There is an option in there to keep the tablet awake when charging

incase people are wondering how to get developer options to show up
open your settings like the picture in the OP, tap "About device" scroll down to "build number" and tap it repeatedly until you see a toast message "developer options has been enabled". now when you back out of that screen to the previous, you'll see developer options.
while you're tapping on the build number, go ahead and tap on "android version" a few times also..
