Developer Mode - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Don't forget about this simple little gem. ??

That's the first thing I open.

incase people are wondering how to get developer options to show up
open your settings like the picture in the OP, tap "About device" scroll down to "build number" and tap it repeatedly until you see a toast message "developer options has been enabled". now when you back out of that screen to the previous, you'll see developer options.
while you're tapping on the build number, go ahead and tap on "android version" a few times also..

[Q] Annoying Beep at end of call - Synergy

I am running Synergy RC1 and at the end of every call I have that annoying beep. Is there a way to turn that off? I do not remember this in the other roms I had been running.
Thanks
Thought I'd give this a bump.
I think it's from your settings, go to "Settings" > "Call settings" > "All calls" > "Call status tones" and untick "Call end tone" (if ticked)

Thanks Sine, unfortunately Synergy doesn't have that option. I am thinking there is an .apk that needs edited.

Accidentally pressed 'Skip' during options...

I accidentally hit 'skip' and not 'enable' when asked whether I wanted to enable to option to call a person by placing my head to the phone while looking at the contact. Where can I find this option to enable it?
Open the App Drawer, tap on Settings, tap on Motion, ensure that Motion is turned on by sliding the toggle at the top so that it is green, and then put a check in the box next to "Direct Call".
Hope this helps.
Thanks!

Developer Options

I have activated the developer options in settings/more/about device by tapping on "build number" 5 times.
Now under settings/more there is a developer options tab with numerous settings inside.
Can anyone explain what these options do and if any are unsafe to "play with" on the S4 mini GT-I9190.
I am particularly interested in the settings: "simulate secondary displays", Enable 4x MSAA and Force GPU rendering" I am just nervous that if I change any of these, the phone will be unuseable.

USB Not Connecting to PC...

Found this if anyone wishes to try it as it worked for me...
Go to Settings→About Phone/Tablet.
Go to “Build Number” at the end of the Scroll list.
Tap on “Build Number” repeatedly (7 times).
On your third tap you should see message indicating that you only have 4 more taps to go to ‘become a developer’.
Keep tapping until you are a developer.
Now Developer Option will be included in setting list of yours now.
Go to “Develop Options” to check USB debugging > OK. Done
Hope this helps anyone :good:

Enabling USB Debugging In 4.3

I've seen several questions on it and people downloading an app to do it. No need because the Developer Options are still on the phone they just need turned on.
Step 1: Setting -> About Device
Step 2: Tap Build Number
Once done the Developer Options appears in the More Tab
I just learned about it the other day just messing around tapping on the tab where it shows the os build number where the jelly bean guy pops up after tapping I just started tapping the different lines on that page and walla.
More like seven tap build number lol
