* New base built from AOSP
* Status Bar Mods
* Theme Manager
* Hardware Key Mod
* Lock Screen Mod

3. Push to sdcard
4. Reboot Recovery
5. Wipe Data and Cache
6. Install ROM

1. IR Blaster
2. Some Kernel features are still under development

Any updates for this ROM?
I love the speed and batterry life but the GPS is broken. Currently running Bucky's build.

I posted a build that is more stable(I think). It's an older build(by 2 days) but everything works better. There are absolutely no feature changes between the two. Just a difference in the device repo changes that were made. It's the link to my personal build in the OP. Here's a new kernel too. http://projectelite.net/actngrezy/buck/gummy/kernels/m7/kk/elite_m7-11_11_2013.zip

Well as soon as this RIL getting hosed issue is resolved that I am having, I will get a build posted. It seems that most 4.4 roms are having this issue, so this fits in well with those. Otherwise all sensors and cam is working. I wont post a build that is going to hose someones RIL.
anyone here REALLY comfortable with fastboot and adb pm me for testing. I need someone who will be going into this knowing that they are running the risk of having use fastboot and adb to recover their device and are comfortable doing so without any direction.

Cherry pick list
* CyanogenMod's latest merges: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-11.0,n,z
* CyanogenMod's Github: http://github.com/cyanogenmod
This is a kang of CM11 with cherry picks from CyanogenMod’s Gerrit Instance, compiled by a group of volunteers that enjoy learning about building CyanogenMod & Android in general. All credit goes to cyanogen, #teamdouche and the coders who submit to Gerrit. Thank you to @RyanMacG for providing Euroskank hosting.
These builds are bleeding-edge, most comparable to a nightly build, and are not meant for inexperienced users. Things will be broken and crash from time to time, you need to accept that this isn't stable by any means before flashing. Nandroid as often as possible.
How to post useful, informative bug reports:
Sometimes dev's actually check out our threads, or sometimes we have a good relationship with a dev or two. These bleeding-edge builds will have issues, and having good information on what's broken is great feedback before a feature is merged. Here are some good bug reporting tips:
* No bug reports while using custom kernels or add-ons:
CyangenMod's own bug reporting tool does not accept bug reports from people using non-stock kernels for a reason, so why should we? CM can merge changes causing custom kernels to break things until the kernel devs catch up. Therefore, please do not post any bug reports while using a custom kernel or add-on such as Xposed Framework. Post your issues with custom kernels in their own respective threads as they are the ones who need to play catch up. Any bug report posted in this thread should be while running CM's stock framework and kernel, as this prevents unnecessary clutter.
* Gapps are not a CM issue:
CyanogenMod is built to run without the assistance of Google's proprietary apps (gapps). Having issues with your Google account and syncing is a gapps issue, not a CM issue. Please do not post about any gapps related issues, just wipe data and try a different gapps package.
* Posting about the same bug every build:
Beating a dead horse with "bug X still isn't fixed" posts just adds unnecessary clutter and provides no help into actually fixing the issue. Some bugs take days to squash, some take weeks. Please don't report the same bug every time a build is uploaded.
* Logs:
Provide logcats when applicable. Use a service like Pastebin and put a link to the log in the post. Please do not post logs directly to the forum.
If these requests are too demanding, there's good news! CyanogenMod is open source, so please feel free to download the source code, compile your own builds volunteering your time and resources, then start a thread and run it however you see fit. All we simply ask is that people post good, reliable information that can be passed on to a developer that can actually do something with it, making CM a better product for everyone involved.

Wow thanks for this . I remember running your roms back when I had a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon . Good to see you here .
all options are not in the new base yet.. we are working on it just wanted to get this out here for you guys I know you have been waiting to try it
@kejar31
I see the thread says ATT, and as far as I know the only difference between ATT all the Canadian models is the fact that the kernel needs to be loki'd for ATT and not for CAN
Is this kernel pre-loki'd?
If so is it possible to make one that isn't pre-loki'd so the north can try this out?
I'll gladly test it for you
--
Until I get a reply I found out Ktoonz has a CAN 4.4 kernel that I'll try and flash
For others its located : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2289140
I would imagine the CAN flash would be ROM -> GAPPS -> NEW KERNEL
Will try and report back

Just flashed this, but this is pretty close to a stock Google experience. I thought this would have a bunch of customization options like AOKP normally does. Might just take some time. Just a heads up to anyone looking to get a lot of AOKP features.

Question.. in cm11 under display settings, you can set custom led notifications for specific apps. Will that be implemented into aokp at some point or its that just a cm11 setting? I thought I remembered it being in aokp in the past.

Sounds about right. Let me guess, you're generally a user of Sense based ROMs, which are a lot larger. AOSP based ROMs (like AOKP and CM) are a lot smaller. CM, for example, is roughly 190ish: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=m7vzw

Can't wait to see what gives . . .
Its smooth as butter for me. I don't have anyone to call tho so I can test that lol I haven't had anything issues tho. I am assuming tethering is broke bc I am using CMs device tree and kernel.

I'll give it a whirl. Are you an official maintainer or is this an unofficial port?
Seems pretty basic, with a few twists added as per OP.
FYI the default governor is Performance, so you might wanna change that unless you want to run your battery down on full throttle.
Seems like a pretty nice ROM, but it's not for me. I am going back to Vanir but thanks for sharing.
I'm the official maintainer.

Nice job papi, good to see you around these parts
Thanks Guys. We are working on a BIG CHANGE soon. It should really help us get into the talk of best ROMs

Looks great thanks for sharing. I'll try this out tonight!
No EXT SD CARD
I flashed the rom and like everything I see so far except I cannot access my SD Card. I see the internal card - not the external one.
Something I can do? (I know this was fixed in CM wonder why I am having issues?)
I did a clean flash - maybe I missed something else?
EDIT - I flashed the custom AOSP Kernel that Temesak Created and that fixed my problem - I am now able to see the External SD Card. Not sure if there is a better solution for the missing SD Card - suggestions are appreciated. Maybe it's just me having the issue?

Too me ever cm asop ioap etc is a best ROM in its own way it the one or two bad eggs that bash and feel making people look stupid is what bring down the ROM if everyone would help and respect everyone all we would have is number ones across the board! Lot more respectful user in asop then tw! With that been said much alohas papi and team for your work!

I will look into this. I will be updating the kernel either today or tomorrow. I believe cm just added in EX FAT into their kernel so I can use their commit.

One more thing - when I tried to use Titanium - root check failed - all rooted aps did the same thing.
I had to install SuperSU (flash) to get root working again
Great work. I will download and try it when I get home.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why isn't there XXXXXXX feature.
A: Shoot us a Suggestion if you want to see something added. While we are not going to promise to implement, we will always look into it
Q: But CM and all the others have..
A: ROM developers, including CM, build something they want to use. The ROM dev that includes something they won't run implies less than 100% effort to ensure it does work. As a team, we have similar goals and objectives. If XYZ ROM has a feature you want, and we don't (or don't want), feel free to use XYZ ROM, or build your own custom version of Octo-Kat

Bugs:
Basic Instructions:
Download ROM .zip file
Download KitKat GApps - * See Note Below! *
Reboot to Recovery (Note: Use Three-Finger or adb reboot recovery - ROM Manager or similar software is NOT supported)
--- TWRP is the ONLY recovery Team OctOs uses - We do not support flashing on CWM but it can be used if TWRP can not flash ---
Flash ROM, GApps files
Clear Dalvik/Cache
Reboot
A Note about the Team OctOs GApps
We in Team OctOs believe in choices. We believe in leaving the fundamental decisions about your phone to you.
In that spirit, Team OctOs gives you options for your GApps experiences. While any ODEX'ed GApps package should work, we offer you the choice of using some of the same GApps packages that we use ourselves, and leave the choice up to you.
You can find our Team OctOs GApps packages here, and break down into the following types:
GPe - Google Experience
Regular GPe GApps
Dalvik-Enhanced GPe GApps
AOSP
AOSP GApps
Dalvik-Enhanced AOSP GApps
The Dalvik-Enhanced packages are NOT ART compatible. If you plan to run ART, don't use those.
We will only update the thread with Stable Releases, whenever possible. This means that the thread may be behind non-milestone releases. If you have an issue with compulsive flashing, or feel the need to live 'life on the edge of brick', we invite you to follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter. Any dailies that can be released, we will release there. Please note, we pull these releases after a day or two, so if the latest link posted there is empty, simply wait until the next one.

ROM is great atm fast, stable, cam is good. Screen shot isn't perfect but works fine (blurry for preview but that's all). I'll get back with other stuff (if there is any). Hope the battery holds better than the other KK ROMs... :thumbup: also I did not use twrp, had no problems at all
flashing as we speak! Will report back tomorrow!
Apnsconfg.XML is not in Etc folder for now just extract one from a rom and drop it in to etc folder and reboot I'm working with the OctOS team to get full device support but I'm tired and off to bed

COOL ! I'm hoping next build will have USB tether fixed (FYI - Vanir and BeanStalk are both fixed as of latest builds so I'm confident you will get that fixed on Octo and HellFire)...and once again THANKS for all your hard work on the various ROMs you've been building for us

I'm very interested in running this. Thanks bthorne79. Do we still need to drop a different apnsconf.XML file into this to set data and MMS to work??

I lost root would be nice if it had a dark MMS .. Other than that it seems pretty smooth.. Going to play with it for a while..
