It took me almost 2 weeks. Others got it within seconds, minutes... In cases where people had to call in (like me) the time varies as well. Some people reported receiving an e-mail within seconds of speaking with a support rep. In my case it took them about 1.5 weeks to 2 weeks to finally get my codes to me.
Give them a call. What will happen is they'll ask you for all the information you used to try and register and then they'll try to register for you. If that doesn't work then they escalate the issue to a person(s) who manually types out the codes for you and e-mails it (which is what takes a long time). This last bit was poorly explained to me and I thought they were giving me the run around (which they probably were at some point).
Give them a call. Worst case scenario it will take a week for the to get back to you. They may keep telling you that it will just take a day or two, but that wasn't the case for me which is why I thought they were screwing with me.

I have called 5 times, each time they tell me they are expediting it, it's been weeks, and I still haven't gotten the email.
On my most recent call, it was explained to me that the product being so new, they did not have all of the serial numbers in the system. So if you registered for your perks and your serial number happened to be in the system, you got your email immediately, otherwise, nothing. Now they seem to be playing catch up, with those who call in having their serial numbers pushed up in the line (I guess).

I got mine in just a few minutes. I did find the email in my spam folder though. Not saying you have not looked but make sure you check your spam filters.

Contacted Samsung support today and they told me it could take up to 48hrs... which should be later tonight. If nothing by then, I would contact again.

This drives me nuts. This is exactly what they told me and it's just a scripted line. They need to just say that there has been a systematic issue which has affect some users and that they are having to manually send out codes to people who are affected. I know a scripted bull**** line when I hear one and it only makes me press them more.
When you call them record the calls and make sure that you tell them you are recording the calls (by law you have to tell them you're recording). Light a fire under their asses so that they'll stop feeding you BS and be sincere. There should be a sticky for anyone affect so you guys can all collectively work together to get your perks.
Every time I called back they had my information wrong and they were purposely doing it. I know this because I checked with a rep and we ere damn sure the e-mail was right. The next time I called back I asked for them to give me my info to make sure it was right and it wasn't. Those guys like to play games.
If a sticky gets made and enough people are affected by this I'll post the contact info the person who sent me my codes after I link them to the thread and give them a fair warning that they are about to receive a flood of e-mails from pissed off costumers who their help desk screwed with.
I signed up for mine tonight and was actually quite shocked to get the email within 2 minutes. Wow!
It's not all roses though, I had a hard time getting my perks when I registered a Note 8 a few months ago. Had to go through customer service and I eventually got my codes.

Oh btw, if you're having problems, contact Samsung on their Facebook page. Fastest way to get a response. When I had my problems, it got resolved within a few hours.
Okay so here's the latest. Yesterday when I contacted Samsung I did it in 2 ways. Firstly I contacted them using the live chat on the website. They told me I have to wait 48 hrs. Secondly I contacted them on their Facebook page. They told me I have to wait up to 72 hrs...
Today I contacted them using the live Web chat. They asked how much time has passed since I registered and I told them 64 hrs. Then she started asking for my info.. serial # mac address etc.... After that she told me she escalated it to another department and I should get an email from Samsung in 2 business days... I'm waiting for that now. ?.
Good thing about the Web chat is that I got the transcript.

After not receiving mine in the original registration Thank you email, I went to samsung.com and did a life chat with support after which I got the email with freebies right away, it's worth a try if you still did not get it

And it's worth reiterating to check your other folders in Gmail. My perks were in my inbox, but they did not show up in my regular "inbox" view for some reason. They showed up only if I went to the All Mail or Important views (and in both cases they showed it as living in my inbox, but the inbox wouldn't show it). So, check all of your Gmail mailboxes and smart folders before you give up, it's not just "spam or inbox"...
Ok another update...... After waiting 2 business days I contacted them again... they told me that the ticket was filed today and it would take 2 business days.... so now I have to wait until Monday.....

It is possible that stock may have arrived early... Specially if you ordered as soon as per-orders were open. I am expecting mine on Friday.
I'm not going to go near a phone shop tomorrow as reading about the nexus I can handle but seeing it and not having it I can't

I don't mean to sound like I don't believe you or anything but a little proof wouldn't go a miss, perhaps add a copy of the message with your personal info removed. Surely you are not the only person in the entire world getting it delivered on time?

The truth is some people WILL get a Galaxy Nexus today.
Either they ordered from phones4u almost immediately when pre-ordering started,
or
They will queue up outside Phones4u in London in the morning or manage to get lucky at a three store that has a very limited stock available.
But they are risking not getting anything at all within the next week by queueing up as if they do run out of stock then good luck getting a Nexus delivered on Friday...
So I would expect to be jealous of a few people tomorrow... but who knows maybe Phones4u will end up delivering everyones phone tomorrow? I guess we will see in the morning.

Just phoned up P4U
First guy told me they're not receiving the stock til tomorrow, and it will be sent out tomorrow.
I queried why their phone shops had stock but they were unable to fulfil pre-orders.
He said he couldn't answer that and passed me to another dept.
She said the same thing, they've been let down and they'll be sending the phones out tomorrow for 50% chance of a Saturday delivery and 99% chance on Monday.
I made clear I was annoyed that pre-orders were being delayed but shops were getting stock, at which point she told me my phone might be delivered tomorrow.
I asked why she changed her answer and she said:
"it says on the internet orders will be delivered on the 18th"

Holy crap he got one with the engineering ROM. I wonder what he could do with it...
Ok, so I got this phone on release day from BB. Had it for about two weeks and got a small crack in the screen. Took it bad to BB to use the insurance, and they said it should only take like three or four days to send it out and fix it. Needless to say, it didn't. I went round and round with them for three weeks, calling a couple times a week to get the repair status, and they could never tell me anything more than that it was still at the service center waiting on approval. Four days before the 30 day mark, I called the 888-best buy number and complained about it taking so long to fix a cracked screen , they called my local store and talked then in to just replacing it that day (four days early from 30 days). Cool right?
Well, that was almost three weeks ago. Today, my wife gets a call from our local BB (the account is in her name), and send me this email earlier:
"They just called and said your phone cannot be fixed so they want to replace it with a new one!! LMAO.
I said I’m pretty sure he received his new phone already and they said we show that there was no credit given to this account. I said okay well I will
contact my husband and have him call you. They show no record of you getting a new phone or crediting you!!! UNBELIEVABLE."
Should I give it a shot? Then she could have this one without having to use her upgrade! Lol

No, never got the loaner phone cause we have four lines on our account. One of them we don't use, so I just used that line during that time and refused the loaner

I hope not. That's what I was wondering too. I'd hate for them to figure out it and try to charge me for the device or something. Then again, it would be after the fact. I'm going to call him tomorrow and see what the deal is. But, if there is no record of it...well....sorry bout your bad luck BB! I guess he asked how she wanted to handle it, so maybe I could have them ship it to the house. Depending on who is working that day, they may recognize me if I went in, and the wife is a terrible liar so she's to scared to go.

I'm on the process of this too. I canceled my pre order was given a cancelation number and was promised the phone wouldn't ship. Well low and behold my bank account has been charged and over drafted now since I bought it yesterday in store and the pre order note 3 is on its way to my home right now.... I've instructed everyone at home to not sign anything and to refuse the package. If they leave it at the door I'll take it to ups and return to sender.....gosh what a bunch of crap.

Hah I guess this makes me look like a dum dum. I was just looking at the reason codes UPS offered and refusing delivery seemed to deal more with incorrect address, item, etc. Wasn't certain you just refuse something you no longer want.

Haha no problem I use to work for a delivery company lol. If they are all as nice as me, thats all it take
The UPS guy just rang my doorbell and let the phone right there. I was able to catch him before he left and I just told him I was refusing it and it should not have been shipped out.
I did and the ups dude said cool.. question was everyone charged before the order shipped? I wasn't I had I pending. It fell off and never came back.

Why are you guys not wanting them? I ordered one yesterday with the zero down deal, and it shipped yesterday too. It's scheduled for delivery tomorrow by UPS. You all have me wondering why. Is UPS doing something to the phones? Should I be worried?
Careful some drivers are shady and if you give it back they can say they gave it to you and keep it for themselves to sell. I would personally take it back and have something given to you as proof of the return like a receipt or something to cover your ass.

register an ups account and add the tracking to your account. then request the package to be picked up at ups store.
contact tmobile to let them know you refuse the phone. that way it never leaves ups and tmobile can't make **** up since it wasn't even opened/delivered to you.

I decided I wanted black instead of my white pre-order, and T-Mobile couldn't cancel my pre-order or stop the shipping.
Before Google Now would show me when things were shipped and how long it would be before I get them, could track them, etc, etc...Now it doesnt. I have tried clearing data, uninstalling, reinstalling and still nothing. Any ideas?
Mine still does. It's always been picky though on which ones it picks out. Only seems to be from Amazon.

What version of Google Play Services are you on? I remember I had to update it when I tried out the new Google now, but since it crashed, I uninstalled the latest google search. So wondering if that might be the cause of it

I agree 100%. I too was on the N4 and it worked flawless. Now it shows things when it feels like it, but still wont show the tracking card. About to disable it all together since that was really the only reason I used it, minus sports, but I have another app that can do it.

I just removed the widget and then added it and opened it up through the search and played with it. After a few min cards showed up but not shipping status

I have noticed that the Amazon shipping emails no longer contain the actual tracking number. That could account for some of this.

That is a good point. BUT...if I say Google Now...then say Track my packages...it will show them. So that is weird.

My last 6 amazon orders delivered via UPS did not have the tracking number show in the body of the "shipped" email. I believe this is the info that google now polls to populate the tracking cards.
To your point above when you say to google now "when will my package arrive" do you get actual tracking info or the expected arrival date stated in the email? Apparently, google now can extract data from the order receipt email however this does not have the tracking number. Thus no true tracking can be achieved by google now.
I did a chat session with Amazon to inquire as to why the change the agent told me he would take my feedback to the concerned department...
Hopefully, they will get this fixed. I find tracking with google now quite helpful especially with Christmas season being here.

I noticed after November 4th I haven't received a single tracking code by email. I called Amazon and they forwarded a request to an account specialist. We all need to cause as much hell for them about "tracking codes missing from Shipping Confirmation emails" or else they might get away with it.
We can thank Amazon for this change, not Google. Apparently tracking numbers are no longer provided in email and thus Google Now won't pick it up.

Yeah, doesn't work with Slice.com or the Slice app anymore either. Looking back at my Amazon orders, the last time I had a tracking # in the email was October 4th (for a Spigen case). Every single order after that (and I order a lot of stuff) now says "Depending on the ship speed you chose, it may take 24 hours for tracking information to be available in your account." where the tracking# used to be.
Sad.
Wonder why they're doing this? To get people to go back to Amazon.com to check tracking and possibly buy something else while there? Or maybe just to spite Google, because google's trying to muscle in on retail with Shopping Express? Who knows...

Yeah, doesn't work with Slice.com or the Slice app anymore either. Looking back at my Amazon orders, the last time I had a tracking # in the email was October 4th (for a Spigen case). Every single order that (and I order a lot of stuff) now says "Depending on the ship speed you chose, it may take 24 hours for tracking information to be available in your account." where the tracking# used to be.
Sad.
Wonder why they're doing this? To get people to go back to Amazon.com to check tracking and possible buy something else while there? Or maybe just to spite Google, because google's trying to muscle in on retail with Shopping Express? Who knows...

Im hoping Google comes up with some hackery to get it working again. If it means I have to add my amazon credentials to google now, Id do it. I order from there almost daily.
Just to revisit this, the "Track Package" link should now be visible again on the Google Now card for new shipments. It seems like Google has started using the "Track Your Package" link from the Amazon email. It's currently working that way for me with a shipment email I received this morning. I guess it's something.

i friend of mine .. buy the note 7 for me in the US but now i cant replace it .. so everytime i put it to charge ... gives me a poster that says needs to be replaced ... i talk to anyone and they say ......''they cant do anything''
i will keep my note 7 i dont have more options for now.....i search for new batteries on EBAY and AMAZON but still out of sell
i can make a research ... but if someone knows how to help me or we can share info how to let it done ... hope i can find some help thx

Even if you replaced the battery you will likely end up screwed by the software. They also may end up disabling these phones as a last means of getting them out of service. Best bet is to try harder with the replacement paths. Where did your friend get you it?

I have the box everything ...... is a bad move in part o samsung ... if I get a Note 7 on eBay without a invoice I will lose my money??? .... in either way I'm asking to get a solution..... cause .. I'm not the only one in this situation ....
Ps: I'm reading they will limit the capacity of the battery ... but I think if they disable it they will get a lot of suit cases

What country are you in? I have a ticket number with Samsung to get a replacement. I purchased it on Craigslist in the US. I should find out next week how they are going to replace it.

im on dominican republic! and they refuse to replace mine cause i dont have an invoice!
What is the position of the government there on the recall? Do you have something similar to the CPSC like we have here in the states? Just trying to think of ways you could force their hand.
They will sort this out. They just haven't yet.
I ask you this.... with or without a receipt/invoice, who do you think would be liable should that phone burn your house down... or explode on a plane flight causing mass casualty? They can't shirk this willlingly.... they are liable.
I also have a ticket with Samsung. A rep told me they would be in contact within 5-7 business days. This Wednesday will be the 7th business day. So if I don't hear back from them by Wednesday, I will be in the phone first thing Thursday morning week as well as contact the CSPC.

yes friend ... I told them ...and they say .. they will call me today and never call me ..im really angry ... I use Apple products ... and the warranty the best they never ask me for invoice or anything ...... this issue is a samsung issue they need to respond for his actions ..... I received a call from Samsung corporate a few minutes ago. I was given the option of a brand new Note 7 or a refund, even though I bought the phone on Craigslist. I was even allowed to get a choice of color. I CHOSE TO GET A NEW PHONE.
A third party company called Stericycle will contact me within 72 hours to set up the exchange in a public place. I was given a reference number and a confirmation email in case I have any questions or not contacted within 72 hours.
Samsung verified my contact information from a previous ticket I had submitted. The rep told me that this is is the first day of the recall program for third party phones.

I kept calling. The third time they opened a ticket. I would just call again. I am still waiting for a phone call.

I contacted 844-365-6197. This is the Samsung Note 7 Recall Hotline.
I also called and filed a claim with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission at 301-504-7908.
I bought the phone on Craigslist too and they refuse to exchange it.
Be persistent, courteous, and take down notes of who you spoke with, at what times, and never end the conversation without a reference number. I started calling Samsung on September 25th. Called the following day inquiring about the status, and at that time the rep stated that someone would contact me within 5-7 business days. Sure enough, someone contacted me back on October 2nd within the 7 business day window. I'm still not in possession of a replacement phone yet, though it seems close to happening.

UPDATE as of October 5th at 1:00pm PST
I received a text, supposedly from Stericycle, which contained my reference number and stated that "Your new unit has been shipped out. The UPS tracking number is 1Z.....". Right now, the tracking number only shows that the unit is ready for pickup and is being delivered via 2nd Day Air. I also have two emails in my inbox describing how the replacement phone will be packaged and returned to Samsung, RSI Repair Services Inc in Plano, Texas.
If you recall from my earlier post, a rep said Stericycle will meet me at a public location to exchange the recalled device for the replacement.
This in no way is a complaint about the process. I much rather see progress which Samsung and Stericycle appear to be working on.
Received my replacement phone via UPS. Took the update that bike shows the green battery icon on the notification bar.

hi guys i have 3 notes 7 ...... i made a test..
ill been charging one of them with the samsung quick charger ....and overheats everytime i plugged in
the subject number 2 .. this one ill been charging with.. blackberry charger folding type... and doesnt overheats
the number 3 ill been charging with an ipad charger and doesnt overheats...
the number one i mention..... i stopped 2 days ago for charge with the quick charge samsung adapter..... and is like miracle doesnt overheats ... and the battery has a long lasting use....
the best part all 3 are verizon.... 2 from the first batch and 1 from the replacements...... the replacement thats the one ill been charging with fast charging adapter ... is my test.... anyone that can reproduce and test please let me know thanks
