It has a locked bootloader at the moment, which means no custom kernels which = no overclcoking
It's reality? The bootloader is lock?

There was a article on Huaweiblog.de that mentioned of a phablet version of P6 called P6S. It had same CPU and GPU but it was clocked at 1.6GHz.
I hope you've been using your device for a few days and have noticed the overheating issues. Are you sure you don't want to underclock it instead?

Hey guys, so I just installed Cm7 on my r800x play, it was a pain, but I finally got it. Everything on there seems to be working fine except the gamepad and camera. All of the Xperia Play Optimized apps that I have won't work with the gamepad. The arrows still work but those work in any game. The camera also doesn't work but I was told there was some patch to fix that. Does anyone know how to fix the gamepad? I can probably get the camera myself.

6ghz :| ? You could possibly fry your phone in less than a second haa!
I wouldnt advice you to go past 1.5Ghz
LOL clearly means 1.6
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk
Yea sorry about that I did mean 1.6 lol. But now I went back to the stock rom and Im using DoomLord's 2ghz kernel. Is that safe?
It's not safe, you'll end up getting your phone. 1.6 is probably the best threshold.

You could probably get away with it, with some serious undervolting. (If you CPU can handle the stress).

yes it can. pretty smooth.
Does it require anything?OC,root, rom or whatever? One of my friends who is using StockSE with no root or OC said he cannot run it :/

NOVA3 is listed as an XPlay optimised game, I simply don't know why would you ask instead of finding out on your own.

Ive been looking for development on the LG Mach LS860, but I have not turned up anything besides a small thread just trying to gain support. I was wondering if any brilliant minds here knew if the LS860 is similar software or hardware wise to the OptimusG LS970? I know it has different specs, but I was hoping it would use the same chipset or similar software so that I could try using OptimusG root/unlocking techniques with a slimmer chance of destroying my phone. Haha (not worried about losing apps/contacts, just worried about having a bricked bootloader)
Thanks for any input in advance!
My justification for inquiring about this is the fact that they were released at the same time and have similar physical features, besides the Mach's physical keyboard.

Ah, ok, thanks for the reply! I was pretty skeptical about them being the same also. But I had hope somewhere deep down. Haha Hopefully somebody will pick up a Mach project soon.....
Sorry, mach is dual core s3, we are quad s4 pro. Totally different GPU and CPU. The evo 3d is the closest device to you.

Mine is stuck on the original software, looking for BooksTablet.apk and BooksTablet.odex since somehow they got modified. Sprint refuses to reflash it for me. Running out of options on this device. Why can't they just have a reflash tool? This would make life so much easier.

So, is it possible to use roms based on that phone/chipset then? I figured using the optimus g unlocked bootloader would have been best since I assumed the software would be very similar.

-sigh- Well, id probably play around with it a little more if I had a good backup phone and if LG would give me an unlocked bootloader. Thanks for your help, if there was a way to point me in the right direction id appreciate it.
And I got it for him, I just used a root explorer and copied the app to my SD card. More complicated than what you just stated I know. Haha
Hello everyone,
A few weeks ago I overclocked my galaxy gio with the cm10 rom on it. It immediatly shut down. Then when I restarted it, it was in a boot loop. My first reaction was to flash the stock firmware with odin, but still the same ... I have flashed many different roms but it's still the same... Can anyone help me please. It would be great to let it work again !
Thanks
Arthur

Yup it is safe to overclock it to 921Mhz(Stable enough for me in cm10.1 rom)I wouldnt dare to overclock it upto the limts now!

Did you already wipe data after reverting to stock?(wondering why nobody asked it, common newb mistake)
Your CPU maybe fried up, you maybe don't use overclock with some rules than it fried.
Anyway, go to a center and ask them if they can see what is the problem.
99% safe is overclock to 883 MHZ

I've never saw something like this.... Very useful, I'm running at 864 mhz it's working fine.
OK so I have a servere overheating problem... No matter what I do my phone is red at after just a little use. I have tried stock kernel and I've tried it with cpu and gpu underclocked but it's the same. Is there anything you can do to change this?
Sounds like you could have a hardware issue and no amount of software tweaking will help that. You should look into getting it repaired or exchanged.
