NOVA3 is listed as an XPlay optimised game, I simply don't know why would you ask instead of finding out on your own.

Hey guys, so I just installed Cm7 on my r800x play, it was a pain, but I finally got it. Everything on there seems to be working fine except the gamepad and camera. All of the Xperia Play Optimized apps that I have won't work with the gamepad. The arrows still work but those work in any game. The camera also doesn't work but I was told there was some patch to fix that. Does anyone know how to fix the gamepad? I can probably get the camera myself.

It's not safe, you'll end up getting your phone. 1.6 is probably the best threshold.

I think that's your problem. I know there are many games that don't work on AOSP because the drivers aren't fully functional or optimized.

The huge problem with nothing ever being good enough is you'll never be happy. Take your phone for what it is instead playing the "find some flaws" game with yourself...there is no perfect phone (if there was, there would only be one phone), if you get a new phone you'll find something about it to complain about just like your current phone...
take your phone for what it is and enjoy it/be happy with it.

Gingerbread 2.3.2
Baseband: 7X30A-AAABQMAZM-1290_10-01
Kernel: 2.6.21.9-perf
Build Number: 3.0.E.2.89
Should I get a Gingerbread rom? ICS rom? Leave it on stock? I plan to use this phone for gaming, music, and web browsing (and using the former more than the latter), so I'm looking for the solution with the best gaming performance. Not going to be used as a phone at all. Also, is 7-8gb enough for games? I have about 22gb of music than I want to put on the Play once I get around to getting a 32gb micro sd card.

They're not any harder to make than a GSM ROM, its just our user base is smaller, (and also, on average, from who I've communicated with, the more active R800x users tend to be older, so less time to spend working on ROMs) leading to less ROMs

Why are you trying to install a GSM ROM!??!? It won't work on the R800x unless you like a black homes screen, soft key not working, video recording, pictures, etc. You need a CDMA rom which is practically the stock rom debloated. Apparently there is no custom roms for the CDMA xperia play other than cyanogenmod or fxp. Make sure you know how to use flashtool to revert your xperia play back to stock and fully functional again.

No. It wont do anything. Supercharger script merely adjust minfree values(androids default app cleaner) when available memory reaches a certain level, android automatically closes background processes to free memory and keep things lag free.

This is actually a reverse affect caused because the minfree settings you chose were less than what the default settings were. This is not the intended result of the v6 supercharger script.
You should get a clue.
Dozens of tools tweak minfrees.
big deal.
But nothing does what supercharger does.
I think that osmosizzz must have also used the maximum overdrive multitasking that boost the hardcoded app limits.
And there's nothing else like that either.

Common people let's get along. Well I tried the mod on my last 4 phones including this one and immediately I see better memory management. The thing is that zep has included so much more in the work than just tweak min free. Yeah there are dozens of tools that tweak min frees but his does more. Right now I have 11 apps in my residents and my ram has locked at 0.93GB. That didn't happen without the mod. My ram would always hover 1.2 or 1.3 GB with 7 apps in my rescent. If I were to switch between any apps right now, they will not reload. Also something I didn't see before the mod. Now as to me having the app head raised, I just went through the script as I always did and I always had the same outcome with every phone I've tried it with. Just my 50 cents on it

Again with the insults..
The op asked about the supercharger script, not about the multitasking mod. Your original v6 supercharger script is used for devices with low memory and for people experiencing lag (it's even in your sig) our devices have an incredible amount of memory, thus never having lag. Therefore the v6 supercharger script won't really do much. Plus when I used your script on my HTC touch pro 2, all it did was adjust minfree values to sooner clean up things providing more resources. Yes it also has bulletproofing app options, but that's not what the original question was.
