Self Brick - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Not sure what happened, but it looked like my samsung S3 bricked on its own.
Nothing, no power on "Qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008" shows up. But that's it.
Anyone know a way to fix? or am I stuck.

Have you tried THIS method? If not JTAG is the answer.

Just saying, but phones don't overwrite their bootloaders spontaneously.

Well either way, it died on its own...I'm pretty sure something failed. I tried the link above and no success...I guess I'm off to sprint for another phone :-/.

My guess is some hardware failure.

phone WILL NOT go into download mode no matter what i do.
in my device manager it shows up as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 with a yellow exclamation next to it.

This is in the teeny bin thread.
Q: How do I know if I'm soft bricked or perm bricked?
A: For most soft bricks you will see a LG or Google logo and then a black screen. You can also still get into download mode. If you think download mode may not even work, connect phone to a Windows computer and check device manager... if the phone is detected in a "QHSUSB-DLOAD" then there's a good chance you're perm bricked. Otherwise.. you may just be a n00b and aren't doing download mode correctly.
Doesn't look good.:crying:

some girl on the forum here messaged me and said she could fix it for free if i mailed it to her. seemed kind of sketchy but i checked her forum activity and she seemed legit. idk i just have all my personal info on that phone and if she was able to recover it i wouldn't want a stranger having access to my life.. lol

What did you do to your phone before you got this? That's a message that you get when you're bricked

The question posed to the OP (post above yours) also applies to you.
You should always provide as much information as possible, when asking for help. What happened before the condition occurred, what mods were done or attempted, what you tried to do afterwards, etc.
Posting 1 or 2 sentences"I am also bricked", "I have the same problem", etc. is never the right way to post, and will never get any proper help.

This link I gave doesn't work on the M8 (or M9 or HTC 10)
From what I understand by the research I have done, it can only be fixed by sending the phone in to HTC for repair.
Sorry.
l also need the right rom for 9008model of m9 or htv31
