I've had this charger since july and the only light that stays on is the battery fully charged blue light. I no longer get the (red, pink) light when a discharged battery is put in to charge. I have to put the battery in my phone to check how much life is left. Anyone experiencing the same?
I would contact zerolemon.

I just bought a battery that's supposedly will dramatically increase the battery life for my phone. I put the battery in and all I get is a looped bootloader. When it decides to turn on (past the bootloader), it automatically shuts itself down.... I plug in the battery (to hopefully get it to the battery charging portion when the screen turns on) and when it gets to the charge only screen, it has a question mark on the battery (battery not recognized). Please help me with this because I really want it to work.
I've been using a 3500 mAh for months with no problem. Then I got the 621 update last night and now a popup comes up and says my DROIDX can't charge it and to put the original MOTOROLA, battery back in.. Seems good old moto wants to sell more battery's. I think it's a Nexus for me next.

I had this problem when I first got my extended battery. The battery was DOA. I returned it got another one and the next one worked perfectly.

Update:
My battery is fine. You have to charge it to 100% while its on. Then you have to turn OFF your phone and charge it until the light turns green, which could take about 1 hour. After you do that your battery is good to go for about 2 days!
The green light indicating a fully charged battery goes on for me at about ~90% battery charge. This is super annoying. Is this a known bug or am i doing something wrong? Any way to fix it? I tried calibrating the battery but no luck.
What ROM?

Green doesn't mean fully charge its by % of charge ie: 90%-98% green

I think the aosp roms show green at 90%, while stock doesn't do it until 100%
Ok so I have a Hyperion 2200mah battery, when I charge it up inside my phone, my led does not turn green and finish charging. This is opposed to my stock which works perfectly. Also, when I remove the cord when using the Hyperion, the battery is at like ~85% and it slowly works its way up to ~90% in 10 minutes or so and then starts discharging normally from there. HOWEVER, when I charge the Hyperion I'm my stand alone battery charger, it charges to like 98%. Is my Hyperion faulty or do they all act like this? I've had no similar problems with stock.

Here's an example of how it appears on the battery info

It appears that it does fully charge but it doesn't switch to ac power properly or something... and starts dropping idk

I have the same battery and I have seen the same behavior. I bought a two pack of the batteries with a standalone wall charger from Hyperion on Amazon.
I have found that if I charge the battery in the phone overnight it will nearly reach a full charge and then drop off to around 80%. It will then stay at that level as long as the charger is attached (see attached screenshot).
If I charge in the standalone wall charger that came with the batteries it will reach full charge (as indicated by the charger and the phone when I install the battery) but it will drop to 97% very quickly (within minutes).
It is as if the batteries are not truly compatible with the phone. It may have something to do with the difference in voltage (3.8v for Samsung vs 3.7v for Hyperion). I wonder if this difference is confusing the battery charger in the phone.
That is not the only problem that I have with the batteries. They are also thicker than the stock battery (5.85mm Hyperion vs 5.15mm Samsung). This causes the back cover to bulge a bit and makes my case difficult to place on the phone.
I am not too happy with these batteries and I am probably going to try to return them.

I have a Galaxy S3 with the 4500mha Gorilla battery and when my phone battery % reaches a 100% the LED doesn't turn green right away. It does turn green after 30 to 40 minutes later. When my phone is off when it says 100% and the light isn't green, it doesn't show that its fully charged, and once it reaches a 100% when its off the light does turn green. My original Samsung battery works fine in this regard other than not lasting long enough. What can I do to fix this so I can keep using my extended battery.
Doubt theres much you can do. If original works as expected then its more likely an issue with the aftermarket battery reporting incorrectly.

Thats what im thinking too. battery life on the gorilla one is great, so it works as it should. I have been using like that for months and just felt like asking today, I thought maybe there was a way to reset battery info on the device so it becomes use to the extra capacity.
Sounds like you have an extended battery.
That's just how its going to work.
You may be. Able to root and calibrate the phone to the new battery capacity but I don't know since I use the stock battery.
The led turns green once the battery stops pulling electricity from the charger so the extra 1/2hr is when the battery is charging to its full 4500mah

I usually charge my HTC One M7 phone overnight and I just got a new M8. The T-Mobile rep told me that overnight charging kills the battery and that it's better to let the battery die down to 0% and then recharge. Is this true?
Draining the battery is not good for it. Better to charge with some juice left in it. I let mine die once a month only.

Is it bad to keep it plugged in when it's at 100%? Will that shorten the battery life over time?

It's no good to leave it plugged in for days and days keeping it at 100%. Its also no good to let it drain to 0%.
Charging overnight is fine, it cuts off the charger when it reaches 100%. Best practice is to have it drain no lower than 50-75% daily.
