stock firmware - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I have the sgh-i317 unlocked and working on tmobile. I wanted to flash the stock 4.1.2 firmware from tmobile, but of course I can't use the tmobile modem on the att n2 unless I want bootloops and/or loss of imei. I can unzip the tmobile stock firmware file to look and modify the content folders. So my questions is, Can I just remove the tmobile modem.bin file from the tmobile 4.1.2 zip folder and then go ahead and flash away with odin. Or better yet, can I replace the tmobile 4.1.2 modem.bin file with the att MC3 modem.bin file and flash the whole thing together in Odin. Or is my best path to just flash the whole tmobile 4.1.2 firmware (including the modem) and then right away flash the att MC3 modem and then do the reboot? Any direction and help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

... Do you only have Odin to work with?
... Are you rooted with custom recovery?
If you have a recovery, I'd find a stock cwm/twrp image for T-Mobile, then restore my modem.

[Q] How to install offical tmobile JB rom to Canadian version T999V

I am waiting for Mobilicity to push OTA update to Canadian version Galaxy S3 T999V, but it is not coming out yet. So I am planing to flash tmobile rom to my phone by using Odin. I know that Modem is different between T999 and T999V, but the Odin T999V rom is in one file, I do not know if it will update modem or not. If I fresh T999 rom but the modem is wrong, will my phone still boot? Can I fresh a T999V ICS modem after I install the T-mobile JB rom? Thank you!!!
I'm with Wind, but your phone is exactly the same, and I chose to install jellybean for TMO.
Use "Mobile ODIN" and not ODIN. This app will allow you be more selective with the update. Update all partitions except the modem/radio.
I don't even know if ODIN can do it, I'm sure it can, but I'm just not comfortable enough with all of ODIN's features to try different options. I have only used ODIN to install back to factory with the original firmware (all partitions including radio).
I suggest you try Mobile ODIN, but have the oem 404 firmware also available, in case you have to use ODIN to do a full recovery.

Rooted Odin File ?

I'm coming from the T-Mobile GS3 and there was a pre-rooted odin file i flashed and that was it. So simple lol. Was wondering if there was one for the At&t GS3? Thanks
Here's at&t's latest release. It's a root-injected stock touchwiz tar for odin

I believe you can actually flash the modem to Odin. That's what I did when returning to stock 4.1.1 and then flashing to stock 4.3. My data didn't work so I flash the modem through PDA of course using Odin and rebooted and Voila!!! Data working! (Make sure to set APN settings)

Data drops occasionally

My data still drops on the new 4.4.2 kitkat update on m919. Like always airplane mode solves the problem. Is there a fix for this?

That does not resolve the problem, the problem is the 4.4.2 kitkat and 4.3, Im having that signal issue also, and I have tried other firmwares. I also have a Note 2 and when it runs 4.1.1, this version has no issue. The new firmware with the modem inside it, its what causing it the problem. Your best bet is, as I have posted in a few section is for someone to make a back up copy of the QCN, of the original stock M919V modem file QCN, its very easy to make a backup of the QCN, with that we can reflash it in QSPST and make the AWS work, I need someone here with a videotron s4 model M919V to make a backup copy of the QCN file so we can try it out, if not we need to wait till they release a newer version. My model is the S4 but my model is i337M, but you can flash the M919V firmware because its the same modem inside it, NE1.

True still happens with nb4 modem. I want to go back to mk2 since I got better signal speeds. Can I go back from nb4 to mk2 again ?

Modem question

I currently have a m919 and using an AT&T sim. The ROM I'm using is AICP and I'm on the NB4 baseband. I had a problem with my signal strength using the lollipop version of AICP and was told to use the NH7 baseband. But I'm seeing HLOS and Non-HLOS versions both tar and zip files. I'm busting wanting a time that I can flash on my custom recovery that I won't be needing to download a huge factory file that I'll have to flash through Odin. Can someone please give me a link or at least guide me to the right path to take? Thanks in advance!

If I recall correctly, one can extract the modem.bin (modem) and non-hlos.bin (LTE modem) directly from the full stock rom.
