I'm coming from the T-Mobile GS3 and there was a pre-rooted odin file i flashed and that was it. So simple lol. Was wondering if there was one for the At&t GS3? Thanks
Here's at&t's latest release. It's a root-injected stock touchwiz tar for odin

I am waiting for Mobilicity to push OTA update to Canadian version Galaxy S3 T999V, but it is not coming out yet. So I am planing to flash tmobile rom to my phone by using Odin. I know that Modem is different between T999 and T999V, but the Odin T999V rom is in one file, I do not know if it will update modem or not. If I fresh T999 rom but the modem is wrong, will my phone still boot? Can I fresh a T999V ICS modem after I install the T-mobile JB rom? Thank you!!!
I'm with Wind, but your phone is exactly the same, and I chose to install jellybean for TMO.
Use "Mobile ODIN" and not ODIN. This app will allow you be more selective with the update. Update all partitions except the modem/radio.
I don't even know if ODIN can do it, I'm sure it can, but I'm just not comfortable enough with all of ODIN's features to try different options. I have only used ODIN to install back to factory with the original firmware (all partitions including radio).
I suggest you try Mobile ODIN, but have the oem 404 firmware also available, in case you have to use ODIN to do a full recovery.
I have the sgh-i317 unlocked and working on tmobile. I wanted to flash the stock 4.1.2 firmware from tmobile, but of course I can't use the tmobile modem on the att n2 unless I want bootloops and/or loss of imei. I can unzip the tmobile stock firmware file to look and modify the content folders. So my questions is, Can I just remove the tmobile modem.bin file from the tmobile 4.1.2 zip folder and then go ahead and flash away with odin. Or better yet, can I replace the tmobile 4.1.2 modem.bin file with the att MC3 modem.bin file and flash the whole thing together in Odin. Or is my best path to just flash the whole tmobile 4.1.2 firmware (including the modem) and then right away flash the att MC3 modem and then do the reboot? Any direction and help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
... Do you only have Odin to work with?
... Are you rooted with custom recovery?
If you have a recovery, I'd find a stock cwm/twrp image for T-Mobile, then restore my modem.

did you ever solve this issue? I was wondering the same thing, wanting to flash back to rogers 4.1.1/2 and them back to Quantum to fix the minor LTE issue. I was considering mobile ODIN.

Do you have the i747m? If you do, you can try flashing a stock ROM from sammobile. Not sure if you can use Odin with a 4.3 bootloader.

yep, i'm on the i747m with the LK4 bootloader, so I think that's 4.1.1? Ideally, I was hoping to just use CWM to flash everything - stock rom, then back to quantum, but I hadn't found a flashable version of stock rom for CWM yet. I will check out sammobile, though, thanks.
I never did find a zip...I ended up odining back and then making sure i made a stock rooted nandroid before going back to aosp...
Long story short I've done this a million times even wrote a how to on how to update metro m919n to 4.4.2 back in the day before the m919n kit kat was released .
As crazy as it sounds now I can't figure the simplest of simple out.
So my situation is I'm using a Metro pcs s4 m919n literally same as m919.
I got it on 4.3 mk5
I rooted it before I updated to 4.4.4.
I decided I wanted 4.4.4 latest available but now NOT 1 single Odin tar I try works.
Fails at about 98% after system.img flashes.
I believe the problem is I'm not finding the correct Full Tar file . I know I can do one of two ways find the official Metro tar or use Tmobile tar But I can't seem to jump from 4.3 mk5 to 4.4.2 or 4.4.4
I've even removed .md5 which is noted to try .
I need the best solution /link or whatever to get to stock 4.3 so I can take the OTA.
Or just jump to 4.4.4 with Odin .
Anyone have a idea what I'm doing wrong or a credible correct Link to the right Odin 4.3 mk5 tar file or 4.4.4 tar?
Being metro m919n or m919.
Every one I find is a terafile link or rapid gator link full of SPAM.
NOTE: I've even tried Shinyside Mega links under general I've tried
Mk2
NH7
AND NB4
I get invalid .md5 And immediately fails
If i remove .md5 and use .tar
It starts to flash then fails after about 98% just after system.img is finishing up
And I believe them aren't just minor ota updates they should be the firt official releases of kit kat from Jb and should work .
Mk2 should defiantly work if it's the Very first jb OTA.
Any help ?

The full tars are are at: http://www.sammobile.com/ .
When u link me to Sammobile. . You mean they are the only ones that have the full tars ..I still want to know why what I've been doing is failing ... is there a difference between these tars and Sammobile tars.
I should have been able to accomplish the Unroot via these tars posted By Shinyside correct me if I'm wrong ?
And I see that sammobile posts m919n tar files but says the carrier to be Tmobile. Why not metro pcs?
So if i use NK2 TAR Will my phone boot as a Metro boot screen or Tmobile .
Regardless of the two devices still we should be able to flash m919 tars on metro s4 I know I have done so for a fact.
This time (A Yr later ) nothing seems to work it's just which one do I need is the question

Anyone know where to get a tar file for the stock ROM 4.4.2?
There is not stock tar ROM for the i747 but there is for the i747m.
Check sammobile.com.
I downloaded the 4.1 one day, then went back and dbl checked...they're gone now. Wth??
I can't flash 747m on the i747 can I ?
Supposedly, you can according to a post I saw from another user but that may have been possible because the other user was using stock att 4.1.1.
