[Q] Trickster Mod settings - LG Optimus G (International)

Hi, I just want to ask what is the best setting on trickster mod for LGOG? Thanks.

Which kernel do you use? I guess stock?
I played around a little bit and in my opinion default settings in terms of performance/battery ratio is hard to beat.

I use liberty kernel from SAVVY Rom. There is Over clocking in it.

[Q] Performance settings

Just wondering what settings are best for this phone...I'm pretty savvy at computers and electronics in general so please don't talk to me like I'm a newbie just wondering whats settings work for you guys if you guys even use the cm 7 performance settings...I figure I didn't flash a custom rom for nothing the stock roms suck so I want the best performance without bricking my device thanks for all and any replies
You works play with the setting, you might like smart ass governor our conservative, just try setcpu.

Your question is very vague. Best settings for what? Best settings for performance? Best settings for battery life? Best settings for games? Best settings for productivity?
It varies depending on what you want out of your phone. To each their own.

System tuner

i've tried to search the forum, google, youtube, but can't find one, is there a guide on how to use this app? SYSTEM TUNER

You don't need a guide for the most part.
There's no reason to mess with most of the stuff it offers. Just mess with CPU and some of the stuff or voltages.
can you explain it further please? where can i change the voltage? and what does it do?

You only have the voltage option if your kernel supports it. The new Franco r10, Faux, and eternity should all support voltage option.
What do you do? It allows you to decrease voltages so the phone uses less energy thus saving more battery. Look in the respective threads to know safe/stable voltages. With you lack of knowledge on it (no offense) i'd recommend not messing around with it.
There's really nothing to do with system tuner right now besides undervolting. I'd recommend leaving everything else besides voltage stock.
Either way, I've found stock kernel to be the best still surprisingly as of right now. Best on battery and speed doesn't feel any different.

[Q] Over/Under clocking

I was wondering on how exactly I do this? I looked through and seen people talking about it, but not how to do it. Can someone explain to me what it does, and how to do it?

There are actually several ways to do this. The most popular of which are to have a rooted rom, install a separate application and use that application to modify your cpu speed. The more popular applications to do this are:
SetCPU
ROM Toolbox
ROM Toolbox light
I've used all of these and if I could suggest one to you, I would say ROM Toolbox, because it gives you a lot of other tools that SetCPU does not. HOWEVER, I find that in regards to overclocking/underclocking and setting profiles, SetCPU is much more handy and offers more customization.

Is there any certain configuration that you find best? Thanks for all the links and suggestions also!
System tuner pro is also nice. There is no " right" settings. Your phone might not like my settings profile. They are all different. I do however under clock. I see no lag on cm9 beta1. I use a Max CPU of 1ghz. I also under volt everything by -25 because -50 on Evert step crashes my phone. Yours may like it. Just remember do not push the set on boot button until you are sure your phone can handle the new setting.

It is pretty much a try what works. I find that over clocking is nice for certain things, but I like to have a long battery life as well, so I have mine set up so that the CPU is usually running ondemand 800-200 and for certain programs, ondemand 1200-500 and when the screen is turned off it is ondemand 500-200. I haven't had any problems and my battery life is generally very nice. Everyone's phone is different though.

[Q] Anyone ever try tweaking their Governor settings?

I took a look at some of the options but there were just too many and I have no clue whether the numbers were "good" or "bad". Can anyone shed some light on their governor settings if they tweaked it?
I'm currently using the perseus kernel alpha 27.4. with Jedi X6 rom.
I personally wouldnt mess with it...just leave it on stock...if anything you may want to consider flashing one of the 2 kernels. .both great...overclock to 1704 and set the gpu to 640 using the stweaks app will help adjust these gpu settings...and romtool box is my favirite though...then once you learn and research. .maybe undervolting in the future...but for niw just stick with these setting..wont kill tour battery..and is very stable and excellent battery performance. ..good luck

[Q] Bonuzzz's OC Kernel synapse profiles

Thought if anyone found their perfect settings on bonuzzz's oc kernel, they could be shared here. Really, the reason I started this thread, is I have no idea how to set these settings. I'm looking for a balance between performance, and battery life, (isn't everyone ) but I have no idea where to begin. Seems to run better with default settings, but I wonder what optimized settings would feel like!
