Hi,
I have a problem. I Installed CyanoMod a month ago (but it so slow and shutting down at random times) so I wanted to install a ligther rom (MildWild MW-9.5 Based on Redux2 TEST). But now he keeps just restarting over and over to the pincode screen
I did a full wipe (factory reset) with 4EXT (although I rooted my phone with Evolutionary)
Any ideas/fixes?
my old topic from last month if u want to know more:
EDIT: I doesn't reset in airplane mode.

Have you tried any other roms?
Also from your other thread it looks like your radio is out of date. Just to confirm can you go into the bootloader and post which radio you have.
I haven't tried to reinstall yet? should I do a full wipe and try again maybe?

First update your radio. You can download the latest one from here.
After flashing that, do a full wipe and reflash the mildwild rom.

Use fastboot to flash it then. Setup adb/fastboot, unzip the latest radio zip and then use "fastboot flash radio radio.img" while the phone is in fastboot mode.

I assume I have to flash an RUU and re-root. Can someone point me to the right one for a Telus unit.
Unless of course someone has a set of ADB suggestions to backing out the 2.3 keyboard. And, no I didn't do a backup, yeah, my bad there. The unit is actually a friends that I was working on, so being fresh out of the box, didn't see the need to Nandroid.

if you have a custom recovery put a custom rom in your sd card. wipe all, reflash. S-on has got nothing to do with it.

I'm currently stuck on radio 3.35.20.10 and using custom ROMs such as CM I can't send things over bluetooth, so I am considering flashing a newer radio. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I understand of the bricking risks, but in my opinion it needs to be done.

It is a European phone.
The process is the same as installing a Custom ROM Zip. The only pre-requisite is that you have to use CWM 2.x as Radio zips are not Edify scripted.
Alternately, you can use Fastboot to flash the radio as well using the command fastboot flash radio <file-name>.img. The required radio files can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1029318 (Post 1, Point 4)
As long as you don't interrupt the process of flashing the radio, you should be fine.

Thanks, how do I know which is the newest radio?
The one you are having at the moment is the newest (ending with 20.10). However, for BT/GPS issues in CM or other AOSP ROMs, it is required that you reflash the radio, even if it is the same version as the one you already have.

Thank you very much, I shall go do that now.
But just out of curiosity, will I have to reflash the radio every time I flash a CyanogenMod version?
No, it works fine between versions. (But, if you perform a data wipe before installing a new version, then, you may have to reflash the radio)
Wi-fi problem with CM7-7.1.0.1-buzz
Hi ,I am having problem with Wi-fi.When I connect to a network it works fine for few minutes but after that stops working .While on phone N/w strength is shown :Excellent.
Same case with Market and Browser.

Is there any way to get around it ? Is there anything to do with CM7 settings or reflashing the radio is the only option ?

I think you have 2 options:
a. retry with Revolutionary until you successfully flash CWM recovery
b. select and flash a different custom recovery. Have a look here:

use Android Flasher to flash this file its pretty simple to use and then you have your custom recovery on your desire

I had the same issue. I was able to solve it by downgrading to RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.29.405.5_Radio_32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_159811_signed.exe
I can't link to it due to forum restrictions, but you can find the download at shipped-roms.com. Look under category Android (duh ) / model name Bravo.
Just remember that it will wipe your data (not SD-card).
The ability of some people to solve problems in the most complicated ways never stops to amaze me.

Try to enter recovery manually (power off, then Vol- + power until Hnoot screen appears). If it doesn't work, install 4ext app and flash different recovery.

nops thats not for warranty purposes, My camera was working fine before rooting, But after root camera is not working on any of the avilable roms for HTC, I tried almost all roms. I sent the phone to be checked for the camera for hardware issues and they said its ok, So I decided to return to stock on which camera is working fine.

I tried telling you before, it's likely hardware.
You're already on stock ROM, even if you get it to S-ON I don't believe it will make a difference to the camera.
If you really need to get to S-ON, try flashing the downgrader manually using fastboot commands instead of android flasher. Set it up here You will know it works as it will say "Alpharev Unlock" at the top of the bootloader screen.
Then try the 2.3.3 RUU again.
If the camera still doesn't work, S-ON and stock ROM, then it's hardware related.

It says Not Allowed, which to me sounds like your no longer s-off. Are you?
Try using the PB99IMG.zip method and see if that works.

In PB99IMG.zip method , I have to rename ""bravo_downgrade.img"" in to PB99IMG.zip and put it on sd card root, and then open phone in boot HBOOT ? After that again run 2.3 RUU ?

No, you DONT just rename an .img file to a .zip file. Download the PB99IMG_downgrade.zip from alpharev. Then rename that file to PB99IMG.zip. After that put it on the root of the sdcard, and boot into hboot. Wait a few seconds and it should ask you if you want to install. If it installs successfully run the 2.3 RUU.
