FXP did not work on CM10.1
FXP stopped at CM10
So if you're trying to boot your phone running CM10.1 on a CM10 kernel, it will never boot.

The kernel is the boot.img inside ROM.zip
Extract it from the zip file and flash it using fastboot.

Rom Arc S

Hi everyone.
I tried to find information about it, but i have not found.
I read somewhere that I can install only the rom based on the original firmware in my Xperia Arc S (LT18i), so I do not think i can do what I have in mind.
I would like to install a CM9 (or CM10 as soon as possible). Can i install a CM9 anzu (LT15i) on my device?
Thanks
Ofcourse!

There isn't any particular process or way to flash an anzu rom?

In fact there is. You should first flash a compatible kernel with fastboot or flashtool, and then the Rom itself. Sad, but true.

Take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923621
Also which ROM did you try to install?
I tried the cm10.1 but it gave me fcs
Flash the proper kernel.

yes my friend you can, but the better thing to do always it's to wipe all and install the ROM again...
but you can change the kernel
Thanks
Well... i'm going to wipe dalvik and the battery stats before and after flash the kernel. And also make a nandroid backup.
But what is the worse case scenario that i dont make a full wipe and reinstall the rom?
Bootloops? Lags? Reboots?

LuPuS is not meant for GB ROMs, if I am not mistaken.
And yes, you can switch kernels and basebands without touching the ROM.

Nope... It's compatible with gb as well..

There is a GB lupus but it has to be searched for, its pretty down the dev section
Sent from my X10i using xda premium
Actually the developer merged both ics and gb kernels into the same. And yes it works!!
But, i don't know if not making a full wipe and reintalling the ROM again but, i have some problems with the camera... it cannot have access to the sd card; after rebooting "it solved" but the videos cannot be played and the gallery has no elements
The camera is one of the things that i used the most, so i have to reflash the doomkernel again which is pretty good but i have to try the lupus one 'cause is in a more constant development.
Thanks
NO the ICS/GB lupus has stopped Dev i think

Are your bootlader unlocked? If the answer is yes, you can flash DoomKernel and you can reflash it to stock if you want to.
Your device is Xperia S? if yes, you can flash all ROMs related to your device in this section http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-s/s-development .

For CM10 in XS you can use RaymanFX kernel itself for compatibility for his ROM. But for other ROM you can use DoomLord Kernel.

Uh, I think CM ROM has a built-in kernel. All you need is Recovery to flash it.
Here's the instruction for CM10 by FXP http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28942161&postcount=2
But if you're using different ROM like Trinity Vengeance or eXistenZ you can use DoomKernel.
