So I just got a galaxy s3, previous I've used a galaxy s2. Now the galaxy s2 has T-memos on it while the S3 has S-memos, my question is how can I transfer my notes from one device to the other?
I tried using Kies and I managed to get my contacts transferred over but the memos I can't probably due to the fact one is T-memos while the other is S-memos.
Neither phone is rooted by the way.

I did a memo transfer for my wife's S2 skyrocket t-memo->S4 s-memo a while back and I *think* on the S2 there's an export function somewhere. Export each memo it to google drive/dropbox/etc and then import it on the S3. Kind of klunky, but at least the memos are transferred.

Would it be possible to use the secmms.apk taken from the Galaxy S3 and port it over to our Nexus?
My girlfriend has just got a S3 this weekend and I do like the layout/theme of her MMS/Messaging app -
I have just got GO SMS Pro for my nexus but it's bloated and still doesn't look as good as the stock ICS SG3 MMS.
I would even pay for someone to do it
Okay so my friend got the verizon galaxy s4 the other day and i have the At&t galaxy sIII... I was wondering if there was a way for me to get certain features that his phone has. Such as quick glance and multiple lock screens or multiview. I was also wondering if there were any features that can be used with our devices such as s beam or group play. Are there any unique things for samsung devices? Oh and will the At&t Galaxy sIII receive the 4.2.2 update?
No, and probably not...

There are some custom ROMS with multiview and other stuff. Aside from that, don't get your hopes up unless both Samsung and your carrier decide to give you new features via update. As far as Samsung devices and unique...well, that is like asking if Ford has anything unique. Some parts and engine designs are unique to Ford while other things may be more generic.
AT&T to 4.2.2...you will never know until it is released most likely and that is assuming AT&T releases a 4.2.2 update. They are very good about not giving out this kind of information.

Many custom ROMs have multi view, s beam, and include group play. Biggest thing you won't see are things like air gesture and some of the more advanced eye tracking features. Mostly gimmicky IMHO.

Question for anyone with the Note 8 and S4. I heard there was some special syncing that can be done between the devices. Is there anything special that one can do between these devices that might be of benefit?
I jumped on the AT&T promotion. I bought my S4 back in May, but I declined the promotion because I want interested in a Galaxy Tab 2 and that was the only tablet they offered. However, when the Note 8.0 launched, they honored the promotion even though I declined when I bought the S4 originally. They gave me a Note 8.0 for the $199 promotion price once it launched. Good customer service.
Anyway, I've been playing with the syncing and the Samsung Link app is very cool. You can transfer pictures, music, etc. between your S4 and Note 8.0 wirelessly. Just put both devices on the same WiFi network and you're set. It's fast and very simple.
I admit I kinda cringed when I realized the Note 8.0 didn't have NFC. I use it a lot to transfer photos from my phone to my tablet for editing and what not. Samsung Link is a very suitable replacement, though. Definitely set it up and use it if you want to transfer stuff between your devices.

NFC would be nice but when I think about it syncing over wifi is a better option. With NFC would have to keep both devices together and they are both almost always on the same wifi so no biggie. I will check out the sync app. Thx.

Hey thanks for asking about that, it got me checking out the Samsung Sync feature. I found out I could also share photos directly to the Sony TV or through the Denon amp.

Yeah I noticed that too. I can beam photos to my Google TV box as well using the Samsung Link app.

Obviously the Gear updates in terms of compatibility started rolling out today for the GS3, GS4, Note II, etc.
Just wondering if we put the same android version or software on our GNs, ours could work too yeah? Did a search and didn't see anything related. Sorry if I missed.
We could never "put" Samsung softwares on our phone, I guess. Gear support is deeply integrated within the TouchWiz framework and without some serious work, even other Samsung devices won't be able to utilize it. Samsung proprietary sh!t.

I believe there have been some other devices that have it working with it in some way or another. I have seen at least an HTC One running 4.1 and a Nexus 4 allegedly getting it to function, at least partially.
There have been threads where people are looking into what it requires. Like this one (which actually has an alleged N4 victory).

the samsung+ app behaves erratically on the tab s3.
for example: repeated crashes and the display of random users' chat history.
in the video @ 0:36 there is one such incident.
this does not happen with any samsung; only tab s3 affected.

I'm right in saying samsung plus is not a stock app that comes with the tab s3. I am not 100 percent sure of the apps function but has it not been replaced by samsung members ?

good point.
according to samsung support, tab s3 is supported, regardless of it being stock or not.
funny thing is that the tab s3 is not listed as a supported device, however, the tab s2 and s4 are. Makes no sense.

From what I can see Samsung members has the same function did you sideload the Samsung plus app as an APK or did it come install on your S3 as I just have Samsung members.
Which came with the 8.0 update I think
You can download it from here https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&s...BMAB6BAgLEAI&usg=AOvVaw3t78SNKyRZPG0BaBSzX24r
UPDATE:
Samsung+ 11.2.4.0 fixed the issues I reported.
