It also came to Generic BR C6503 (running 423). In "My Albuns", there is no more indication of how many files are in Internal Memory / SD Card.

Yeah thought so, but couldn't find them...
BUT they have 'Semc' in front of their name... So SemcAlbum.apk and so on! Nice!

Yeah i too noticed that its annoying i dont understand why Sony pushes such updates or they just test in some other device or just dont test at all....sigh...Sony just degrading better things in update

Hi everyone!
Premise: my Xperia S isn’t rooted or something like that, it’s such as new and it still runs ICS.
Now, the problems are two:
Camera: it works correctly vertically, but when I rotate it, it works only if I rotate the pone to the left. If I rotate it to the right, display shows buttons like if it was rotated to the left.
Another thing: if I use camera vertically, when I press Home button, task manager shows like this:

Is this normal?
Video camera: it only works rotated to the left. It doesn’t work if rotated to the right and vertically. So when I record a video vertically, it records like if it was rotated to the left, and when I play the video using stock player, it rotates and can’t watch it vertically.
So, I think “Camera” and “Video Player” apps are the problem.
I did a settings reset but nothing changed…
What do you recommend?
Note: Automatic rotation in Settings is activated.

I would like to solve this problem now, because I think it could still persist on Jelly Bean.
Now, if I reinstall ICS flashing it, could it be solved?
probably as they are both system apps so will be overwritten by new with a flash/update etc

Mmmm..Ok. So I decided..I'll flash ICS,then upgrade to Jelly Bean..
I don't think you'll need to do both. just make sure you use flashtool and get the latest jb ftf file off here

Can't find it. Anyway, if I upgrade using PC Compasion, could there be some problem?
I just bought my xperia s yesterday and facing similar problem. But after update to JB the camera is perfect now.

Problem Solve
Hey! This problem is probably because of the firmware... upgrading to jellybean will solve your camera for sure, specially that the camera lag is fixed in .96 and works flawlessly. You could try this! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425192 Come back with feedback!

Below widgets will work with the above launcher.
As Xperia ZL is still mainly a black theme rom, upgrading the Launcher along with the OnOffTools widget (white base) imo makes it looks weird.
So i've did some mod to make a black version for the OnOffTools Widget based off 2.0.A.2.0.
(so far, i have only edited the images for xxhdpi)
This should work with the above 1st post newest launcher.

1. Can't seem to get this version of the Music Widget working on mine. Not sure why, guess i will leave it as such.
2. Agree the green is too pale, hence i modded the green in a similar tone to that of Xperia Z.

I've already made it auto-rotate in the version i've uploaded.
PS: You will need to decompile the apk if you wish to see it & mod it yourself.
I have a tiny problem after replacing clockwidget, before by tapping i could open Alarms app, but now it doesnt work anymore. It just shows me a quick black screen.

Also i noticed that the launcher doesnt install as normall apk and tried to move and replace with root explorer results in FC.

Here's an empty CWM zip file.
I suggest to take what you need, then put into the zip file where necessary.
Do always perform a backup first in case things goes wrong.

Edit : Do take note you should be on deodex rom from the start though.

Why doesn't the walkman change colour on CM 10.2? When I flash Walkman from Xperia Z which works perfectly and then install the apk over it, it changes colour o fthe background but crashes when I open the now playing window! Any solution?

Above applications provided were simply extracted from xperia device and posted, it works fine on my device (slim official). when you override two apk of the same kind there are possibilities of FCs. try to avoid this by removing cache first and than followed by replacing or deleting the respective app and than copy it again in system/app directory or install.
If still not than give it a pass.

I thought I would have to edit my build.prop for that as flashing the walkman from xperia Z does add around 10 line to the build.prop.. Anyways... Thanks. I'll try on some other ROM and I'll have my friend try on Stock!

I use [Z1C-D5503]KitSlim_AMG [Evo 9][02/08/2014], which comes in black.
Install the rom and flash the black apps, then remove settings.apk from system/priv-app, but leave Settings.apk (leave the one with the capital S), then all your settings will be in black, including phone dialer, texts, contacts and emails.
Otherwise, root your phone and install something like [MOD][AROMA][Z1C][4.4.4][.157] Dark System Apps v4fix
If you want to go further you and have some black apps, then look out for BlackHangouts.zip, BlackGPlus.zip, UltimaROM_Chrome_35.0.1916.141_Inverted_Blue.zip and there is a black Gmail apk available as well, but I don't remember the name.
Also I have found black versions of Twitter, Spotify, IMDB, Dropbox, Netflix, Instagram and Skype, see attached.

it is a little surprising for me cause i deleted the settings.apk and use Settings.apk, but the performance control isn´t there...
i modified it by myself so cpustats and cpucontrol in black are embedded in developer options.
how did you managed it that the performance control is still there in the black Settings.apk?

I just followed the instructions on the thread, I was a bit confused at first as the settings were white, but once I had deleted settings.apk, it all worked and looked great.
Did you flash the rom or just the apps?
I wiped phone completly, flashed .108 stock, added root/recovery. Then flashed EVO rom, full apps, then black apps.

ok i know the reason:
i installed this Black_UI.apk from HERE and there is no Performance Center at all.
After flashing the Black App from jfxperias and adding my modded framework-res.apk for totally black popup windows all is fine.
