Why doesn't the walkman change colour on CM 10.2? When I flash Walkman from Xperia Z which works perfectly and then install the apk over it, it changes colour o fthe background but crashes when I open the now playing window! Any solution?

Above applications provided were simply extracted from xperia device and posted, it works fine on my device (slim official). when you override two apk of the same kind there are possibilities of FCs. try to avoid this by removing cache first and than followed by replacing or deleting the respective app and than copy it again in system/app directory or install.
If still not than give it a pass.

I thought I would have to edit my build.prop for that as flashing the walkman from xperia Z does add around 10 line to the build.prop.. Anyways... Thanks. I'll try on some other ROM and I'll have my friend try on Stock!

ok so let's start
Install instructions:
Copy all the files to your sd card
first
take the system.zip unpack it (the system need touchwiz framework ...)
copy all the files to the respective directory and Set permission rw-r--r-- and reboot
install like normal apk :
1-seclauncher2_Signed.apk (for some reason i don't understand you must copy launcher to system and this file http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?92oc5y90079bwsb to Lib don't forget to Set permission rw-r--r-- and reboot ,i try to resolve this bug)

Dude I tryed this but it says problem loading widget n then launcher restarts n can't find the widget anymore .......I read somewhere else that web have to put those 3 accuweather apks in system/app????????

yes you must replace the launcher with mine (i change the shared user id )
i port the launcher for mdpi device i adjust it for ace but you can try with gio

Any chance of trying to make it work on 4.1.2? I use Chrome on my Tablet Z, but stock browser on the XS, because it's much more lightweight. Or have you already tried and didn't worked?

In my Xperia TX running official JB 4.3, I get FC
I don't know the reason for the failure

I installed the browser on the system partition
Get FC...
not working on rooted xperia z1 4.4.4. normal installation.
When pushed in system/app > unfortunately browser has stopped error pops up.

The browser needs framework modifications aswell as libs that go with it. I don't think that it will work as standalone app

I'm not sure, but maybe you need the Superuser mod to make it work, or maybe it works flashing the apk to system.
I've a Rom with Superuser mod and i've installed as normal apk without problems.

Uninstall previous version and try. If you don't have another version then flash it to system and delete the old (remember set the correct permisions).

Are you useing the stock framework-res? If yes Try useing honami framework..

This my first time on themes/apps section.
I'm posting the Dialer.apk file for Lollipop soak test moto g's. Tested on xt1033(My own).
What I've done - just changed the icons of the dialer.apk of stock Motorola soak test to stock Google's GPE ROM's dialer's icons.
Tested on xt1033. You tell me xt1032 users. Does it work good?
Also, it only works on 5.0.x

Procedure -(Root required)
1) Download any root browser
2) go to /system/priv-app/dialer/dialer.apk
3) replace the new dialer.apk with the above one
4) set permissions [all ticked]
5) reboot.

Shouldn't be that way! This was apk for soak test. The stock firmware 5.0.2 and not the soak test might have problems as I've opened up the dialer.apk of the new 5.0.2 which is almost the same except a few tweaks.
It's running well on many of my friend's moto g.
Anyways, let me tell you what you should do-
1) Download 5.0.1 update of GPE ROM for moto g - http://android.clients.google.com/p...ncremental-KTU84P.M003_18-LRX21Z.M002_15.zip4

2) Open the update zip and navigate to system/app(or)priv-app/Googledialer.apk
3) Extract the file to Desktop.
4) Go to system of moto g(if rooted) and navigate to the dialer.apk
5) Extract it to the desktop
6) Now convert both the apks - i.e. googledialer.apk and dialer.apk into .zip
7)extract the icon files from all the folders of googledialer.zip - hdpi, dpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi etc. and replace with the files on the dialer.zip
8) rename the dialer.zip into dialer.apk
9) copy it to moto g's system and set permissions
10) reboot
11)You'll find that the icon has changed if the icons are copied correctly with all permissions ticked.

Just an icon change. Stock kitkat dialer icon replaced with google dialer's material themed dialer icon.

I'm not a dev to edit stuff from Motorola's apps.....
It would be called KANGING(Copying/editing other's stuff without notifying them or mentioning their credit.)
What is this? A modified SystemUI.apk that shows a graphic visualizer when sound is played and shows the stock Lollipop task killer. See the first screenshot, the red arrow goes to a bar style icon. That icon toggles between the quick settings and the task manager. Also shows how much RAM is available.

The graphic visualizer is managed by an app called "Visualizer" were you can choose from styles:

This MAY work on the Z3 too, just need someone to test this. IT DIDN'T WORK, SO PLEASE DON'T TRY IT ON Z1 or Z3 or ANY OTHER DEVICE BESIDES A Z2 ON BUILD NUMBER 232,236 OR 264
For this you are going to need basic mods:
-A Sony Xperia Z2 running STOCK based software. ONLY FOR BUILD NUMBER 232 This on Heavily modified ROMs will cause trouble.
-Recovery
-"Super user mode", via Xposed Framework or modified services.jar. This is a MUST, if you install this without this mod you will loose the softkeys.
-Deodexed system. If not, first delete SystemUI.odex before installing
-The flashable .zip is attached to this thread
Installation is very simple; just install via recovery and reboot. No need to wipe caches.

Yeah there is a custom rom for the z2 too which supports a visualizer for the lockscreen but I prefer stock roms...
