Hi. i am a android developer and trying to connect to my device using eclipse/ADB but the drivers from the latest htc sync app v3.2.10 doesnt seem to install/contain the htc one x drivers?
any other places that have it?
Yeah I cant seem to get it to show either
I just installed HTC Sync and it worked fine. Have you enabled USB debugging?
HTC don't use the generic android USB drivers. Install HTC Sync, you can uninstall the Sync app again after, just leave the usb drivers in place (separate uninstall items).

Hey guys, I have an HTC one vx. After searching for about a week about my problem, I am posting on here.
I have been trying to root so I can get the tethering app, and custom roms, etc. When I attempt to connect any computer in my house (windows 8,7) to my in fastboot mode HTC, windows pop up saying... The USB device that you have connected has malfunctioned. It shows up in device manager with a yellow arrow over it. I've tried installing HTC sync, uninstalling that, installing pdanet drivers, updating in device manager, manually updating in device manager from android SDK and pdanet directories, tried usbdevview, tried switching cables, USB ports, everything. Any suggestions? I'm at a loss of what to do. Adb works when booted up though. Most annoying problem ever.
Boot into windows 7 uninstall htc manager and it will ask "want to remove all drivers with it" or something like that, click yes then from there install latest HTC manager from HTC site, once installed plug in Phone and HTC manager should give proper drivers
I went through the s-off, etc root of my Verizon HTC One and installed Cyanogenmod 10.2 . It's running, but I'm unable to get Windows 7 to recognize it. I have tried it with and without HTC Sync installed. I also uninstalled synch and ran drivers linked from Scotty (-install drivers: if you have htc sync installed, you should allready have drivers. if not,you can install htc sync,or install these modified htc drivers from revolutionary (driver mirror)) Device manager sees "HTC One" with the yellow triangle. "Update driver" and rebooting, etc doesn't seem to help. Without this I can't move files (music, my dropbox titanium backup, etc) to the device, which is pretty limiting. I see mention of this problem on CM, but not a specific fix. Any ideas?

You try exiting out of everything & rebooting again and going back in.
Does anyone have the HTC M9 Drivers?
I keep getting an installation error using HTC Sync downloaded from the HTC website when it gets to the drivers part, and after flashing the RUU my computer will no longer recognize the phone under "adb devices" and I have USB Debugging enabled.
Thanks!

Im not sure we can help you if you do not tell us what os you are running. However try android naked drivers and this 15 second install of adb and fastboot.
