[Q] Any App to remove/disable the permission of some Apps? - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Some Apps need lots of permission, but indeed a few permission can work well. And it make me uncomfortable to apply so many permissions.
Is there any App to do something to disable or remove the un-needed permission? (my KF not rooted)

[Q] How to install a system-app?

I wrote a home replacement app for android devices. Because of some special permission, this app must be installed as system app. The devices are rooted.
I installed this app as system app on a Samsung Galaxy Tab and a Motorola Defy. Therefor I remount the /system/app folder. After this I push the apk file in this folder. After I reboot the device, the app will run.
I also tried to install this app on a HTC Desire HD. But when I reboot, the apk file will be deleted. The logcat prints out the following:
"WARN/PackageManager(1316): System package <system package> no longer exists; wiping its data"
I don't know why I can't install this app as system app and why it is deleted. Can anyone please help me? Where is the mistake in my install-routine?
Do you have S-OFF? I think that might be the problem.
Thanks. Now, with S-OFF it works.

Check Apps Permission After Installed

When downloading an app from play store, it provides a list of permissions the app is using. My question is, is there a way to list all apps installed group by permission type? Like all apps that has access to my contact list?
There are programs like Advanced Permissions in the app store you can review and change permissions of installed programs.
