Ok so I spent a couple of hours looking and used the search tool but still can't find a 1% battery mod. Can some one be so kind as to point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Instead of having a mod for the icon in notification bar, how about is downloading a widget that does one percent for instance battery life widget by curvefish.

I'm going to claim some ignorance on this one. I don't quite understand what you're looking to achieve. As far as I know, at least on stock roms, you just go into the battery, maybe display settings, and change the battery meter to give % instead of a bar meter. On stock, it moves in !% increments.
When you use a non Stock battery image it won't display right unless you have a 1% mod.

I have looked around for a fix that will show the battery level in 1% increments....but nobody will confirm whether this works for the tilt 2 without causing problems. Should I just assume that if something works with WM6.1 it will work with 6.5?
Also, it is so stupid to not have a better battery icon...is there a way to replace it with one that actually shows a freaking number? I don't want anything fancy, and I don't want to install a pack that replaces ALL my icons. Anyone?
EDIT:
Just thought of this. Does anyone know how to change the colors on the top start bar, and bottom start bar in tf3d? I was thinking of wanting them both transparent, but that might make the stop icons hard to see....maybe just the bottom tranparent.....hell, I guess I could pick a dark background and make them both tranparent.
Anyway....anyone?
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-ariel-battery-monitor-v1-6-2.html maybe this would help? i've used it and it doesn't replace any icons. it stays at the top bar. you can move it to cover the battery area or just leave it by the start logo

Thanks a lot...I will check that out.
I think I would still prefer editing the built in icon...just seemed less "hacked" to me.

Get NRG Rom "Photon"
Has the 1% battery and everything else you would ever ask for.

Not really in interested in flashing a whole new ROM just for this. The ROMS are nice, but none of them are 100% perfect....I don't want to deal with radio's....I don't want to deal with some of my keyboard buttons not working...I don't want to deal with getting some strange ATT registry setting back just so x or y program will run right.
The phone runs great now...just want a couple tweaks, not a full overhaul.
Quentin- has offered in this thread to make a modified battery.dll for various specific devices, but it seems he hasn't poked his head in that thread for about a month.

thanks man!
I'll keep track of that thread.
I figure others might be looking for the same stuff..so I'd like to update this thread as I find what I need.
Finally found a replacement battery icon that works on the tilt 2 here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3598922&postcount=3473
still looking for a way to get 1% increments on the stock ROM.

You need to install that 1% increment driver for that.

Wow, you may hate to be but you are.
TWO experienced people posted suggestions that would work but you've chosen to not believe them or even attempt there suggestions. Why even ask?

I probably went overboard....but if he would have read the posts he would have seen that we were discussing this in depth already. It would be like me walking into a white house press conference on the state of the economy and saying "hey...uhhh..maybe someone should try to fix it and stuff"
As for me ignoring the 2 suggestions.
1. I thanked the first guy but RESPECTFULLY mentioned that this was more of a work-around and not a fix. I also posted a fix to the first part of my problem in case he, or anyone else, was interested....not sure how that is supposed to show i ignored him.
2. The second suggestion was to a thread that the head guy didn't seem to updating anymore, which the poster stated up front as he gave me the link. I thanked him as well...and agreed that the thread did not have a solution for this issue...was never a **** to him.
Anyway.....I'm sorry, I shouldn't have reacted like that...I know he was only trying to help.
Back to the topic at hand. It appears the hold up on the 1% driver is that people are having an issue pulling the proper files from the tilt2's because of write protection or something......so looks like this is in limbo while people smarter than me attempt to help the rest of us.
Hi:
I installed the attached cab driver, and it seemed to work fine for me, with no side effects.
I found it with one of the Brian taskbars (gfreek edition), which by the way looked amazing, but the signal icon didn't get replaced with the new one.
Hope this helps

The fix you posted is for when the notification manager and the battery icon show values that are 1% away from each other. This thread is about a different issue, namely getting a 1% driver that works on the stock Tilt2 ROM. Thanks for the fix though; I think I have that problem also. I once saw my notification say 0% (when the battery driver was rejected) while the icon showed 1%.
Hi
I am looking for an apo which displays the batt % in the status bar BUT DOES NOT disokay info in the notification bars.
I only want % and nothing when I pull down notifications.
Anything?
there are enough mods in this forum, where you CAN search!!!!!!!
I guess I have been clear enough in my question: I want an app and not a mod, the reason bring that any mod will prevent future OTA upgrades as it happened with the previous mod I had on 4.0.1
Allow me also to say that I registeted en on this forum when you were not yet in your father's testicles so if you do not have positive comments to give pls do not spend my time giving me hints that I already know.
sorry man
no probl

hahahaha yes you're allowed..
Battery Circle from the Play store should do it.
nope :-(
it still has an annoying notification each time you pull down the status bar
been trying every single one on the market with no luck
Not sure if elixer 2 is still around. It is what I used to use.

I use the 'morequickly panel' app. It does the same thing.

3.) Profit
Elixor 2 works
Elixor 2 works - nothing in notifications
If you want to actually have it APART of the notification/status bar that requires root/de-odex. I don't think it'd be possible for an app to do so, at least, without root. Time to root/unlock buddy.

I installed a battery mod and the percentage sticks then jumps down 10 percent or whatever.I know I read about the fix, but now that I need it I can't find it. Can someone point me in the correct direction? I really appreciate any help.

Last i knew, there wasnt a "fix" unless you mod the systemui.apk and include the correct .xml and .png files for each percentage.
Thanks elesbb.
Someone was kind enough to post a step by step to do that, but I think it was buried in one of the Rom threads. Doing a search brought up way too many things that were not relevant. I was going to try and tackle it this weekend if i can find the post.

I'm currently using Nova, I'd be up for swapping to another launcher if this is doable (although I do have nova at 13x15). I'm doing something similar to this: http://blogs.computerworld.com/android/21359/make-hottest-android-home-screens-yourself, the organizus optimus screen. I'd like to make it so that when you click the buttons to swap homescreens it just instantly changes. Thanks to multipicturelivewallpaper I don't have to worry about the backgrounds moving around but my widgets still fly everywhere as I switch. Is there a way to completely remove widget movement animations? I already have the speed of the widgets set to the highest speed but it still is distracting. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

The one I'm posting changes color while discharging or charging battery.

What's the name of the app.
I guess you must have a bad taste
Not really sure what the point of this thread is, you haven't uploaded an app or linked to anything so I've closed the thread
