Anyone Interested In Teaching A Fella? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

So Im Still A Noob at this app but I'm wondering if anyone wants to teach me the fundamentals of developing whats needed for a ROM. As in the key parts and small parts because i one day would love to develop with a team a awesome ROM, in very familiar with java and c# and develop a bit of games at school using gamemaker. I have all the time in the world to learn and debug so im open to many possibilities

[Q] How To Make A Rom For The Epic I Want To Become A Developer ?

Can Someone Help Me I'm Really Interested =D
Before you on ROM development, I'd suggest you learn to theme a bit to so you ease into ROM cooking better. There's a theming guide stickied to the top of the themes sub-forum I believe. Also, learning some C or C+ programing will also be helpful as well.

Look for threads in the general Android development forums. Go back to xda home and look for it there.

[Poll] Interest in porting the Xperia S skin?

Right, so I put up this poll to actually know how many people are interested in such a port.
I'm going to mention first that I'm barely starting custom ROM development and whilst I do understand most of the stuff, there are still some things that block me from doing stuff properly. Yet I'm curious if people are interested in such a mod and if they're interested in someone developing such things.

Where to start developing?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to start developing for this device when it's unlocked and has an (hopefully) AOSP kitchen for it.
I have a couple of questions though:
Where do I start learning how to use the android SDK?
Should I learn C++ or Java? I would think Java, and I guess it would depend on Kernel or OS development.
All links are appreciated, though videos would be greatly appreciated.
And yes, I am doing some research on my own
Thanks!

Ubuntu touch for gs3 tmo

I'm so crappy at developing I wouldn't know where to begin, I'm just learning c++. I really wish I could help in any W.I.P to getting it up... I seen it running on other devices and I'm extremely hating on them right now. There was no purpose to this thread except to say I suck and wish I didn't.... lol
