Where to start developing? - LG Optimus G (International)

Hey everyone, I'm looking to start developing for this device when it's unlocked and has an (hopefully) AOSP kitchen for it.
I have a couple of questions though:
Where do I start learning how to use the android SDK?
Should I learn C++ or Java? I would think Java, and I guess it would depend on Kernel or OS development.
All links are appreciated, though videos would be greatly appreciated.
And yes, I am doing some research on my own
Thanks!

[Q] Getting Started with Android programming

I searched for post on this subject and didn't find any, and I am making sure I post in Q&A
I am interested in Android programming and would appreciate some professional advice on what software I would need to get started and any tutorials that I should get to get a good foundation to learn. I would be grateful for any help.
Thanks
Second that. There's a lot of info in the forums, but more reading material never hurts. (Unless its for work or school. That would suck)

[Q] How To Make A Rom For The Epic I Want To Become A Developer ?

Can Someone Help Me I'm Really Interested =D
Before you on ROM development, I'd suggest you learn to theme a bit to so you ease into ROM cooking better. There's a theming guide stickied to the top of the themes sub-forum I believe. Also, learning some C or C+ programing will also be helpful as well.

New To Android Development

I want to start developing for Android. I want to create and port ROMS, specifically for the OPPO Find 7. If anyone could give me a reference as to what to learn and other things I need to know it would be appreciated. On another note I am not a total newb to technology, just to android development. I know basic programming but no low level stuff. Thanks.
