Hello, I have an odd problem. My mic on the bottom of my phone has stopped working for phone calls and all other app functions. When I make phone calls and I enable the speakerphone function people can hear me.
I'm just wondering if there is a fix to this problem!?
Even in speakerphone mode, the Mic used is the same... So the Mic works.

did you complete full wipe? flash again the whole rom and then another kernel or the stock boot.img
The bottom Mic may need replacing, when loudspeaker is activated it might actually switch mic to the top Mic (noise cancelling Mic), which is how it works on an iPhone, maybe to stop interference between the Mic and speaker.
I came across the same issue on an iPhone 4s I was repairing, when in a call the Mic would pic up no sound until the loudspeaker was activated.
After replacing the mic with another it was working fine again.

This might be kernel related or app related. Just have a look, at what is using your resources. I had this problem once before, and was actually kernel related.

You should remember that when you change kernel, you should always erase cache before flashing the new img, and then flash the necessary files(modules) afterwards in the recovery.
Job well done to that sense cam. I can(try) help out if you want. I can read code and look into files deeper. Just pm me if you have issues.

And what thy can do,replace the call speaker?I have this problem from new,and a lot of people have that issue with this model.
There is no other way, like service code to some tweaks on system like increase call volume to about 50%?
this seems to be a HUGE issue with HTC One V phones....imma be bringing mine into a service center next week since i only had it for one month and i can barely hear anything since i got it...

There's propably some fluff or other dirt in your headphone jack. Grab a toothpick and get it out from there. I had about 3mm of stuff in there after two years, and music playback would stop just like yours. Works fine after cleaning.

I tried to flash mobile (several times) with multiple roms, wiping mobile before. Nothing of this has worked.
I have no idea about what can I do. somebody knows what can I test to know what is the problem of this mobile?.
Thanks in advance

I'm using nik project x rom, but the HTC widgets are usually force closed. Nothing happens just the pop up notification.
Any solution to fix it? Or ignore the messages?

Well ... I think it's best you report the problem in the ROM thread as it's the ROM's issue . Even though if nothing happens , it will be pretty annoying after a long time . Ask the question in the ROM thread and the developer/other members might come up with a solution

If no , try clearing the cache/data of the widgets . If still doesnt work , try clean flashing the ROM .
