Hello,
I have a problem with this mobile phone. When I try to turn on WIFI, it looks like it is trying to connect. But suddenly turns off itself.
I tried to flash mobile (several times) with multiple roms, wiping mobile before. Nothing of this has worked.
I have no idea about what can I do. somebody knows what can I test to know what is the problem of this mobile?.
Thanks in advance

This is a long shot, but is your Wifi and BT turned on when you are checking for the MAC addresses?
If its off, it will show as unknown/unavailable in Settings/About Phone Menu.

Any ideas at all? I'm thinking I'm going to rewrite my bcm4329.ko with someone else;s if I can find a copy. Maybe they'll fix my wifi. Found out that in the logcat it wasn't loading the WiFi drivers.
I am currently having the same issue with a Desire... tried everything apart from unrooting... there has to be a fix for this!
Has anybody figured a solution for this? I am currently having the same issue. Cm7 nightly 171
It first appeared 2 days ago on cm 7 nightly 168. I have done a superwipe, reinstalled radio and all that good stuff.
same issue
I got the same issue. Any one has solved it?
Go to your home screen, turn on Bluetooth, wait 4-5 seconds, and get to Settings and check it again
set cpu seems to be stuck at 25.2 degrees Celsius i have tried all the wiping and uninstalling and re-installing possible is there a fix for this or am i stuck
Try flashing an older/recent Radio.
Your desire z / g2 might not have a core temerature reader built In.

Just tried flashing radios and that did not work. Is it really possible that some g2s have core temp readers and some dont

Dude flashing a radio won't fix that. Sure wish people would quit telling others to flash a radio for everything that goes wrong on their devices.

I didn't think it would work I was just really hopeful cause the temperature profiles was one of the main reasons I use setcpu. I'm just hoping its not a hardware issue cause I don't want to have to get a warranty replacement, I just got done with the whole rooting fiasco and don't want to go through that again.

Hi guys, got a strange issue here. Whenever I dial a number the phone will ring a few times then the signal bars will jump from whatever they are on to nothing with an x and call will fail. However; the phone will still be ringing on the other persons end, and if I redial then it will jump into the call I tried to make previously. The same could happen again during the call. Strangely, this only seems to happen when I bring the phone up to my ear, if I use hands-free it only happens 1 time out of 10. Anyone have any ideas?
I'm using SuperNova Xtreme ROM, any more info needed?

Unfortunately, I have also read that there is no fix for that bad luck for us, I guess
Well, I've just done a quick Google and found that sometimes simply taking the back off the phone and hoovering everything out can help, as well as blowing/hoovering on the line between the earpiece and the screen. I'll try it out and post my findings.

Hey, I've managed to fix it, but only by flashing with an entirely new ROM/RUU. It's the only thing I could find to fix the issue.

Do you have to use a CPU to get the ROM on your phone. Because I just flashed and no WiFi is the only problem

Hey guys.
I'm using nik project x rom, but the HTC widgets are usually force closed. Nothing happens just the pop up notification.
Any solution to fix it? Or ignore the messages?
Regards,
P.

Well ... I think it's best you report the problem in the ROM thread as it's the ROM's issue . Even though if nothing happens , it will be pretty annoying after a long time . Ask the question in the ROM thread and the developer/other members might come up with a solution

I see .... Did you flash any mod that's related to the widgets ?
If no , try clearing the cache/data of the widgets . If still doesnt work , try clean flashing the ROM .
