This might be kernel related or app related. Just have a look, at what is using your resources. I had this problem once before, and was actually kernel related.

You should remember that when you change kernel, you should always erase cache before flashing the new img, and then flash the necessary files(modules) afterwards in the recovery.
Job well done to that sense cam. I can(try) help out if you want. I can read code and look into files deeper. Just pm me if you have issues.

In your signature is written that you use LeeDroid Sense rom. If it's like that you shouldn't use Manu's kernel cause it's made for AOSP roms, maybe that's the problem.

you could also try an app called watchdoglite
it alerts you when a certain app uses processing power above a certain threshold.
My friend has a Droid Incredible 2, when she launches the camera app she gets multiple colors on the screen. Same result on Sense 3.6 leak and UKB Evolution Sense 4 ROM. Pictures come out just fine and even screenshots, it's just when shes trying to see what shes taking a picture of. Any help would be greatly appreciated,
First question would be what is her root method? Second, has she tried a stock Rom like bonestock?

She used the HTC Unlock method, and the Sense 3.6 was a Bonestock ROM I believe

Did she pull out the boot.img before flashing? Htc unlock has its hiccups and things can't be flashed the same.

Yep, I helped her flash everything so I know it was done right, but with both ROMs is what I don't get. Could it be a hardware issue?
Yeah, maybe the ROM or root isn't sitting right. Have you tried wiping the cache(s) or re-installing/downloading the ROM's? If those aren't the case then try and OEM lock the phone and re-root it again. If that doesn't work, then the camera might be funky.
Gonna see if that works, hopefully it does haha

A 3.6 ROM isn't going to be stock.
Have her try Nitsuj's StockM ROM.

Is there a settings that is on that is causing this? If not it could be a hardware issue.
I think one way of telling for sure is to get rid of the HTC unlock and fully root to see if it has to do with how the phone is handling the flashing of the ROM's. If it still occurs, then I would guess hardware.
I'm gonna see if running the RUU will the problem. That way I know if its a hardware issue or software

Hey Guys this will be my first topic in the developement i hope i make it count
anyway i like to present my project i've been working on....

Official Link

https://www.dropbox.com/s/tojnbn88ocns1yj/AntiVenomSDW3.14.zip mirror provided by A2Trip
I'd Actually like to thank Team Venom first off (before i explain what this does) for making Viper ROM and unintentionally creating a project for me...If it weren't for them this tool wouldn't be alive lol so THANKS!!!
any whooo
This ZIP here is 3.51 MB of PURE WIPING POWER...This was initially a Personal project after an unfortunate problem with an awesome rom. But after seeing no fix or help i took it upon myself to help and after alot of trial and error and flashaholics testing my work here it is in all its glory lol
For best results:
Shake Don't Stirr
Use LATEST 4EXT RECOVERY
Flash AVSDW3.14
Reboot Recovery
Flash Desired Rom
Love IT
as far as i know this seems to be a permanent fix, as I am able to flash between sense,viper,CM10 etc...if some one can confirm thatll be greeeat

Had boot loops after I flashed the 4.2 keyboard and desk clock. Had to do super duper wipe again.

I'm thinking alot of the massive cpu max is due to some of these dragon games my son installs because I've restored from Titanium in the past on cm10 an that's when sh1t happens. I'm just going to see if the phone can make it a whole week before I do anything to it.
Fuk yeah! I installed my Lucida Grande font and didn't get bootloops.
Thank you very much ChilliBean! I knew we just needed to scrub that hard-to-reach area! You're a life saver!

After a running SuperDuper and doing a clean install of Venom, booting, going back to recovery and flashing the 4.2 keyboard, booting again, I had it reboot on me at the boot screen, but then it went through fine and the keyboard works fine without boot loops. So I suggest if you really want to stick with 4.2 keyboard, just play around with it a bit more and be patient with the booting. Eventually it did work me, just saying.
no problem flashing 4.2 keyboard here not even a fruit loop
Must have been the deskclock then. I just installed the 4.2 keyboard apk and it's fine.
Pardon my arrogance, but why would one need to run this tool? I've never had any issue flipping between cm9/cm10/Sense.
Why i have soo baad battery life when i flash a rom i flashes diffrent roms but the battery life is the same -.-
On stock rom i had not the problem
Unlocked bootloader 3 days ago
I dont think this is because of the apps like facebook i removed facebook , messenger , viber etc all apps that draining battery , but it didnt help battery drains 2% every minute -.-* big problem

I get about 13hours a charge.

I set brightness to the lowest value too but battery falls every 2% sometimes every 3% but very fast so my battery held 4-6 hours
Yesterday i calibrated my battery now i must wait , the battery must discharge until it doesnt power on and must charge it without break then i'll tell you how the battery life is now i have 72 % since yesterday at 23 o'clock

Well ... I think it's best you report the problem in the ROM thread as it's the ROM's issue . Even though if nothing happens , it will be pretty annoying after a long time . Ask the question in the ROM thread and the developer/other members might come up with a solution
