Qtek 9000 from french to english

Hi all,
I just bought the qtek 9000 but os is in french, i have the os in english but when i want to do this it says wrong rom. Could someone please guide me threw this problem.
Also if i'm able in the future to get it upgraded in english wont i have a problem with the azerty keyboard, cause english os is with qwerty keyboard no?????

Hello,
First, extact your new english rom, than repace files in new rom with files in my package. Put universal in bootloader mode, run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe wait... 30-40 minute and enjoy new rom

Thx for the reply but this is chinees for me. I am completly new at this. What do you mean with extract new boot and afer that replacing files with yours??? Extract from where and how?? also upgrade tool is showing picture from S100 and mine is 9000?? then how do you put your phone in bootloader mode??? and what about keyboard problem???? I know that You have country id problem, I will try to explain how to.
1 If you have upgrade file as XXXX.exe you will have to extract that file using win rar (just right klik on it and extract to your folder.
2. Unpack file from my package WM2005reinstall.rar
3. Replace file in the original unpacked rom with files from WM2005reinstall.rar (RUU.dll , Getdevicedata.exe ...
4. Run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe That file has no country specyfied so You can install Your rom (English). It is working in all MDA so don't worry about different picture.
Hope it wiil be clear if not - write ...

Ok got that. Finally but before i try this upgrade, what about keyboard. Will it be different?? (azerty/ Qwerty, do you know this...

Here's your solution:
1. Get a registry editor. Here is a free one :
http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=92
2. Look at the value in the following:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\Qwerty
The DWORD should show what the FRENCH code is for in XXXXX format. Write this down.
3. Upgrade to the new english ROM
4. Install again the RegEditor
5. GO to same local key and the key will be 66589. Change this to the value of the french keyboard (value you got from step 2)

Change language of HTC Diamond WM 6.1 OS & Apps

Hi all,
I have a basic question: I ordered an HTC diamond in german language. I had to do so cause my provider only would ship german/italian/french devices. My wish though is to have the HTC diamond running in English.
Will a ROM change install dem WM 6.1 in English too (meaning a ROM includes the OS + all apps) or is there any other way to have WM 6.1 in english instead of german?

yeah, i would like to now that too. there are so many roms with ger in the extension, but noone describes how to change the language. I managed to change the language of touchflo into german, but thats all. Help is appreciated

Well my problem is a bit more complicated, in fact it's the other way around. I have a WWE ROM installed, but I want my textmessaging to be with a danish dictionary? Is it possible to do this? Or do I have to add all danish word and miss the 3 danish specialities?

Search for '14 languages' cab file, it's easy. Just a reg setting.

Yea, I've already found it. But I can't figure out how to install it? I've tried to put the .cab file into Internal Storage > My documents > My files (created folder). Then I've installed it and done a softreset. Nothings happens?

Pls. Help, I'm a newbie here! could you show me a step by step procedure on how to change my HTC Diamond ROM. bec. I bought a HTC set in Taiwan and some of its features and settings are in Chinese I want it in English. I read that I need to change my rom to do this. could you show me how? Thanks a lot!

XT9 Dictionaries

I've flashed the Energy Rom "Leo" (WM 6.5.1 Manila 2.5), and therefore loost the standard Portuguese T9 dictionary that was build on my HTC.
Is there any way to fix this ?
Been reading through the forum and found no info that applies to the Energy Rom (don't know if this is a Rom specific issue or a Manila 2.5 issue)

Seams that no one has the same problem, so i guess i will have to live without the PT dictionaries on my phone... that's a crap

Maryone has a ROM in portuguese. And with this ROM there is the XT9 Portuguese input.
Meybe we can exctract this dictionary from thar ROM, but how???

Hi,
Install the cab in post 5.
Start a new message, go to keyboard settings, and change language to the one you want.
Set the Text input settings as you like, and then it's working.

but now i've a new problem -.-
if I enable XT9 now the keyboard became useless... none of the letters I press appear on the screen...
After have installed the cab the only thing i've done is to set language to italian in HD Tweak Info --> Language
what could be happened?

I've solved this problem by installing Fingerkeyboard.
Then it works fine.

Confirmed.
As long as I try to use dictionary, nothing is entered. none of any character.
Worse is, that cab cannot be uninstalled.

yap...(this CAB IT OOOOOOFFF) i have the same problem.... how can this be solved ? i need the portuguese XT9... but i cant get this to work.... any solution ??????????

I'm using the cab below,download and instal, it works great on XannytechRom wwe,IooDa ptg rom and in MaryOne wwe rom,on flashmore wwe rom don't work.on others roms I haven't try.hope it helps

Anyone tried this on Energy 23541 ?

Would anyone have Russian?

This cab works on Energy ROM 26 feb and makes my portuguese keyboard avaiable and functional! It has also other languages. I adivse making a backup before installing.

To go back to your original ROM (10B,C...,Kiss 20..), Right after first start, use "Windiag.cab" to enable windiag. Then soft reset the phone. Now you can use the engineer menu 2676625720# and flash in normal mode if necessary.

Cause: Used 6.1's file set together with rickou26's flash.bin
Solution:
1. Detach the battery
2. While it is off, holding Browser+Send Button, connect the USB cable to your PC. You should see the green light at the top right.
3. You should be able to select port from LG flash utility. If not, reboot your PC.
4. I used a 10B Chinese DZ file to flash the phone again. I guess any other file set will also do

For my part, I always flash in emergency mode without making restore NV since I do not use the erase function (EFS to an e once when moving a file to a branded NV -> Unbranded).

downloaded and flashed each rom. the build 23563_0409 is the english version. Tnx for the rom!

Very good build and rom, after a couple hours of testing. Seems like the standby battery draw doesn't seem quite as good as on 25014 though and GSM reload is a little slower.

I flashed the 0c0A version, but it seems like it's a Spanish version. I searched and found out that the Traditional Chinese is either 0404(Taiwan), or 0c04(Hong Kong).
Could you make a version under either one? I am using the Eng Version(0409).

I think the build 250xx work a little better but I do not have Rollup-All-Pkgs to the ROM Multi_lang.

To speed up my work I need to translate the following files in the language concerned. Please open the file. dat with the notepad and then correct directories: Start Menu \ Programs, StartUp ... etc. work is simple and quick for someone mastering the language but rather long for me

Please help with Russian speech pack for W10M

Hi guys, could you help me to get Russian speech package (installation .cab file)? MS shipped Lumias 950/XL for some strange reasons without Russian speech (i.e. TTS/STT) support but I need it badly
Unfortunately I don't have now any available handset to install insider's build of W10M (otherwise I'll never ask).
So if you know how to sniff https traffic, it should be an easy task. Package file name should looks like microsoft.speech.downloaddata_lang_ru-ru.spkg_[some_guid].cab (I don't know the real guid string).
I recommend you to start sniffing by installing not Russian but any other available - in case if you'll make some mistakes and just for experience (if you fail to grab correct url for some reasons, you can't install it again without hard reset).

Sorry, tested but no Russian speech in the list.

Hmm, that's kinda strange I've heard (from the Russian guys, from 4pda.ru forum) that the Russian speech is available for insider's preview releases... I'm sorry bud! Sounds like the Russian speech pack was never released for Win10Mo?

Ok, misunderstanding. On my phone dont appear rusian at ad a language for speech....chinese, english, french, german, italian, japanese.

P.S. Damn MS, Russian speech services are working fine on 8.1 (and actually they are very same as in the W10M) - why they removed Russian lang from the release?! Only God and stupid MS managers knows

Only solution is back to WP, download speech and then upgrade.
